This property is conveniently located close to restaurants, grocery stores, and the boardwalk. You will need a car to move around, but it is within a 5-10 minutes drive. The view is amazing. We really enjoyed just taking the elevator down to the beach and to the pools. The apartment is a bit outdated and it wasn’t super clean.

There was too much noise from the construction. We didn’t even stay at the apartment during the day because of the noise. We were not told that there was construction until the day we arrived.

Mildew around walk in shower door
Shower head leaks and sprays the ceiling while cold drops of water fall on your head
Carpet in bedroom is extremely dirty
A/C returns in hallway and living room have black dust on ceiling from A/C returns
1 out of 3 chairs on outside patio was broken, almost sat in it in the dark, bad accident waiting to happen
countertops were gritty and dirty along with the tile floor
Refrigerator has puddle of water standing on both shelves where all of your contents get soaked
Refrigerator bulb burnt out
Fan switch in living room is broken
Table lamp is broken and does not work
Don't have a radio in the unit if you not able to use it as this does not work either

Overall we enjoyed the stay here at the Pelican and no regrets. It was at a perfect location and the view was awesome. From the balcony you can enjoy watching the sun set and sunrise. The beach is beautiful. I will say the carpet in the bedroom is filthy and needs replaced and the sleeper sofa has seen better days.

We absolutely loved the Pelican Beach Resort. Very clean, and friendly staff manning the front desk. Right on the beach with two beautiful pools!

We had only one toilet working, one of the toilets got clogged before we got there so when we used it there was water everywhere and nobody available to fix it.
Other than that it’s a really great place and perfect beach view. Everything is so close and really worth it.

There was many small things that added to an overall poor experience. Several light bulbs were out, air vents were very dirty, chairs at the tables were uneven, the wall clock was broken, half the toaster didn’t work, the oven light was broken. The shower head in the master bathroom was garbage, the sink crashed in when we put dishes inside, there wasn’t enough towels or garbage bags, the tile was poorly laid leaving a gap at the breakfast bar, the furniture was cheap, there were very little amenities compared to other rooms we have stayed in. When you pay as much as I did for a room, you expect there to be decent things in the room and at least work. We will book through someone else next year.

There was mold on and in the cabinets. The cabinets were warped due to water damage. There was also quite a bit of black stuff on the ceilings. The bathrooms needed a good bit more attention as well. The master bedroom had no curtain and there is a hall light right outside the window that shines thru the night.

Had a wonderful time here with my family. Lots of restaurants and shops, put put right across road was our favorite! Short drive to Panama City. Beautiful clear water beaches, white sand!!!

Great Stay
Absolutely enjoyed my one night stay, it was a quick stay but very enjoyable! Very clean and convenient. I think furniture needs to be updated a little and an actual mop in hand. That’s just preference. All in all my family enjoyed the stay.

We stayed in 1602 for the view, not so much the condo. Condo was nice, looks to have been updated in the kitchen. Living room could use a new couch. Bedroom was great due to the giant industrial ceiling fan(which I’ve now ordered). Only complaint was the lien on the bed had several spots on the fitted sheet and two pillows…looked like old blood stains. Overall the place was great!

We stayed in 1602 for the view, not so much the condo. Condo was nice, looks to have been updated in the kitchen. Living room could use a new couch. Bedroom was great due to the giant industrial ceiling fan(which I’ve now ordered). Only complaint was the lien on the bed had several spots on the fitted sheet and two pillows…looked like old blood stains. Overall the place was great!

There is a bright light from outside that shines into the bedroom all night and no room darkeners. It clearly is a rental only. Nothing really in the kitchen other than the basics - not even salt or pepper or a coffee filter. The condo is part of a "resort" with all kinds or rules, which I wasn't expecting.

Our vacation was good overall. Our room was okay I guess. It wasn’t very clean and we were not aware that you had to wash your own towel, also it costed money to use the washer and dryer. Otherwise it condo was okay and did what we needed it to do.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pelican Beach Resort. The ocean view from our balcony was breathtaking! The room was clean and everything we needed was supplied. We are looking forward to staying again.
