This was a beautiful, spacious home which was just what we needed for our large family. The kitchen was amazing and had everything we needed. The home was very clean and decorated. We enjoyed playing games and reading on the screened in porch. The hot tub, fire pit and pool were enjoyed also. We did rent a boat to enjoy the lake. The host, Alan was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Would highly recommend this place to vacation.

The property is fabulous for a family vacation. Dock and lake are great. Pool is fabulous. The house has everything you could possibly need. Located 2 minutes from town. Wonderful family vacation!

The property/house is absolutely beautiful! From the moment we all stepped in it felt like home. We didn’t want to leave. It was immaculate! I usually don’t walk around in my bare feet except at home but here I did as I said it felt like home! The pool was perfect for the grandkids. It was a great time for us all to reconnect as a family! Our family of 12 rented this house located near the northern part of the Canandaigua Lake. Great location near boat rentals, restaurants, ice cream stands, and parks - we went to all of them ! The house, the pool, the hot tub were all incredibly clean. The bedrooms were nice size and the upstairs bedrooms have additional A/C units which were great. The overly large kitchen has 2 dishwashers. 2 trash cupboards, and 2 large countertops. Tons of kitchen gadgets, small appliances and utensils - you won’t need to bring a thing ! One thing not mentioned in the property listing is that entire backyard is fenced in! A really nice surprise- great if you are bringing a pet like we did. There are also plenty of beach towels for the pool and hot tub so leave yours home ! We washed the towels only once ( laundry room is great ) We drove to 3 nearby wineries on the rainy days. My favorite part was all the large gathering spaces for our family to sit around the pool. The fire pit. The family room and dining spaces. The owner/host has instructions thru out the house which made using the hot tub and fire pit easy. I would highly recommend-especially for big families !

We had a fantastic stay at this historic property that easily accommodated our large group of 6 adults and 8 young kids. The house was immaculately clean, charming, and well-maintained. The spacious kitchen was a standout feature, and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor amenities such as the pool, hot tub, fire pit, and screened porch with a TV. Almost everything we needed was provided, and the property's convenient location near commercial areas and the historic downtown area made shopping a breeze. We loved the quick walk to the lake and had a great time using the dock and kayaks. The host was incredibly attentive, responsive, and helpful, ensuring that our entire experience from booking to departure was smooth. We're already excited about the possibility of returning in the future.

Our stay was wonderful! We had a large group of 8 adults and 4 young kids and the property was accommodating that we barely left. The house is historic, but clean, beautiful, and well-maintained. There was plenty of space, (especially the kitchen!) and the outdoor amenities (pool, hot tub, fire pit, screened porch with TV) were a hit. The house provided almost everything you could need, so you only need to bring yourself and personal items. But the location is so convenient that you can go to Wegman's and Walmart for anything. Not only is the property near the commercial area, it's right by the historic/downtown area and city pier. The lake is a very short walk from the house and the dock and kayaks were great to have access to. The host was so accommodating, responsive, and helpful that he made our stay an easy process from booking to departure. I would definitely stay here again and looking forward to it!

The house and amenities were spectacular! Alan was so easy to reach and respond. We hope to return in nicer weather to really get to enjoy the beauty of the property and area. Only recommendation would be to put a blind on the master bathroom window near the deck and a door to this same bathroom. It was a wonderful experience!

We had a great weekend in this spacious home that easily accommodates 10 people. You could get lost in this house with all the bedrooms and places to sleep. The kitchen - actually two kitchens in one - is huge with all the necessary appliances and accessories. . The firepit was awesome - we had great times in the evenings sitting around drinking our wine talking about the day's events. The view from the dock was so scenic and peaceful. There is so much more the home offers: a covered covered porch dining area, a swing and rocking chairs on the front porch, the pool (in Summer), and life on the lake (the dock and the kayaks). The host was quick to respond to questions and issues - the living room fireplace was not working on our arrival and he was over within a half hour with fresh batteries to get it started! A real gem of a getaway to share with family and/or friends.

Alan’s spot was exactly what we were looking for when planning a family vacation. Plenty of space to host, enjoy the outdoors and great bed rooms. Feels like a home away from home! Alan was helpful and incredibly accommodating. We will definitely be recommend and hope to stay there again!

A group of friends rented this beautiful home for the week after Labor Day. It is a lovely historic house that was very large and gave our group of 8 adults plenty of space to spread out yet come together in the common areas. The bar was a perfect area for appetizers and drinks in the evening. The beautiful kitchen allowed us to cook all of our meals and eat them on the screened in porch. (The dining room we used for puzzles) We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub at night. Overall, it was a great week, and the house served as the perfect location for us to explore all the area had to offer.

An amazing property with all the amenities. Spacious, quiet and perfect for a large group. The layout of the bedrooms allowed for privacy while the spectacular kitchen was the hub and hangout spot when we weren’t in the pool or exploring the town. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive. Would come back in a heartbeat!

We stayed here with 3 families with a variety of ages. The house was very clean and the property manager Alan was amazing and very accommodating and always answered the phone or called back quickly. This is a gem! Beautiful home in a great location. This does not feel like a rental. Well stocked with everything you need. It feels like you borrowed a home from a friend. Nicely decorated and close to many great restaurants and attraction all in a beautiful setting.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful sprawling home and had fun cooking in the chef's dream of a kitchen! The kids spent the week swimming in the pool and kayaking the lake. This a great property!

Great time was had by all. The kitchen was amazing and very well stocked as far as cooking utensils and dishes. Loved the pool, hot tub, lake access and the gas fire pit. My only complaint was the sleeping arrangements. Should have more queen size instead of doubles. Great time was had by all 18 of us!!

Beautiful house - exactly how it looked in the pictures! Loved our stay - perfect vacation home for our family - 7 adults and 6 kids. The kitchen was the best! The pool beautiful! Everything was perfect! We'd definitely want to stay in this house if we return to the Finger Lakes.

Family enjoyed the large house, pool and covered porch for game nights. Great location to everything. House was well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies. Not much of a view of lake, but it wasn't a priority for us. Rented a boat and dock was easy to get to. Owner very easy to communicate with and quick in his responses.

All of the amenities made our family vacation wonderful. The pool and the hot tub were very popular and the stroll to the lake gave nice opportunities for leisurely walks and access to kayaking and fishing. The house provided many living spaces for relaxing, family game playing and dining. The large kitchen and grilling area made meal preparation very convenient. All the bedrooms and bathrooms easily accommodated all 16 members of our family. The house was meticulously clean and very nicely decorated with antiques and vintage inspired accessories emphasizing its history. The owner was very accommodating and made our stay very pleasant. All 16 of us highly recommend this vacation home.

The property was fantastic, super amazing house. Kitchen was wonderful, as was the pool and hot tub. First house we've stayed at that was adequately supplied with pool towels ! We all had a wonderful time, from youngest to oldest. Alan was a gracious and very responsive host

Beautiful property with huge, well equipped kitchen, amazing outdoor gathering spaces, screened porch, heated swimming pool, hot tub and gas fire pit. Master suite is spectacular. Plenty of beds- though a couple are awkwardly placed. As long as you understand the layout and have some people who are ok with semi private sleeping spaces, this rental is ideal!

The kitchen was well appointed, the pool and hot tub were pristine, the house was gorgeous and the grounds were impeccable. It had plenty of space to spread out and we never felt as though we were crowded. There is ample parking and the house is very convenient to all that Canandaigua has to offer. There are a lot of "reasonable house rules" you are asked to follow. They are what keeps the house in mint condition and enjoyable for future guests. We appreciated the offer to bring our dog since everyone who would have dog sat was at the graduation. Alan was an attentive and accommodating host but never intrusive. Our rental experience was top notch and worth repeating. I can recommend this property and owner without reservation.

Older property but very well maintained with a beautiful kitchen (great for making a large Thanksgiving Day feast) and outdoor area (even though it was winter) was very scenic.

Gorgeous spot. Kitchen is enormous!!! Clean, well-appointed. Felt instantly at home. Such an interesting space with crawl spaces the kids loved hiding in. Hot tub was clean and lovely. We’ll have to come back for the pool and lake in the summer sometime. We were ogling them every day. Host was very responsive. Lots of cute walks nearby. Ice cream! Lake views! Never wanted to leave.

This house is a great place to enjoy a holiday with family with a large spacious kitchen and plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the lake views and the proximity to the town of Canandaigua. We hope to be able to return sometime soon!

Fell in love with the property based on online pictures. But it’s even better than that in person. It’s welcoming, comfortable, and absolutely beautiful. Very well taken care of.
