The house was perfect for the 4 of us. The downstairs bedrooms suited my family and the loft was great for myself.

This home is beautiful and honestly one of the best homes I have ever rented. You really don't need to bring any kitchen supplies because they have it all - peeler, mixer, bowls, grater, etc. The location was great, however, you do hear a bit of traffic noise. The upstairs bedroom (or master) had a good mattress and a nice bathroom. Two things I would do is to add curtains to the windows because the green and red lights from the bridge come right in and add a carpet runner on the stairs. The stairs are a little steep and a bit slippery. I slipped and feel down part of the stairs while I was there. Got a bit bruised up but it could have been much worse and I worry for older people. Just be careful and use the railing. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are well-maintained but are a little tight. Lastly, be aware that there is a security camera outside on the deck. I don't blame the owners at all for having a camera (if I had a beautiful home like theirs, I would have one too), however, I found out while we were there that they actually watch the feed. In my opinion, and it's just my opinion, the camera feed should only be watched if there is an issue or complaint. Neither of which occurred with my rental. Except for used sheets and towels, we left the place as nice as we found it. I even brought a little vacuum from home to help with clean-up.

Luke's house was great to stay at. It was well furnished and had everything we needed. The best aspect is the location; it's ~10 minutes to almost all of the activities around Deep Creek, and it has a boat dock if you want to rent a watercraft while you're there. Would definitely recommend it for a family getaway!

We enjoyed our stay in deep creek lake at this home. The home was well equipped for all our needs. We cooked dinner in each night. The kids found a game to play each night. The location allowed for swimming in the lake all day long. This home and location was exactly what we hoped for in our Deep Creek Lake getaway!

We had a delightful break from school. There were great toys, lots of extras. It was perfect for a family get away.

Very impressed with this property. #1) The host is incredibly responsive, kind and attentive to the property. He really cares about it and his guests and it shows. #2) The property is updated, modern and in incredibly good shape. Modern kitchen and appliances, and a nest controls the air conditioning unit. I repeat - THERE IS CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING!!! I searched properties all across Deep Creek for summer rentals a year in advance and little to none of them had central air conditioning or air conditioning at all. This property did! Beds were comfortable and the couch is one of those extremely deep comfortable couches to sink into for summer naps on your vacation. The top floor has it's own large bed and private bathroom and balcony - great for quiet morning coffee above the lake. At night enjoy your summer cocktail on the porch or the dock. Host was even kind enough to let us park our water crafts in his dock - so gracious. He went above and beyond for me, especially last minute and in times of need. If you want 5 star treatment and 5 star facilities - rent here! More importantly, this location is close to all the good dining (Moonshadow, Mountain State Brewery, Firewater Kitchen and Bar). Great spot for deep creek hiking and dining out, boating and all the summer fun the area has to offer. Cozy fires inside at night as well to end the cool summer nights with. I am definitely coming back next year - repeat renter!

The house was well appointed, the kitchen well equipped and the location was very good. Luke was easy to work with and a good host.

This was a great house to stay for small group of friends. It is 8 min from the slopes, fully equipped kitchen to make meals and avoid going out during COVID, grocery store is 5 min away also. Luke was always on top and checking in if we had any issues with anything. We had a great time and would certainly recommend.

We had a great stay for our little ski trip! Plenty of games for kids/family to play. Plenty of comfy seating to relax on in the evening. Plenty of kitchen ‘stuff’ to prepare meals and enjoy a meal together. Also, a GREAT host- very attentive and easily accessible. Couldn’t ask for any more;-).

Excellent property, well cared for and great owner.

I'm not the easiest to please and I was thrilled with this house. Its sparkling clean, cozy, comfortable, and right on the river. I am teaching high school virtually and loved being able to have lunch outside on the water. My husband brought his boat and docked it right outside the back door. It was great for both of us. The owner was gracious, informative, and communicated in a very timely manner. The house is located right beside the bridge so there is some traffic noise; but, I lived in the city for years and it didn't bother me.

It was very clean with an updated interior and just as advertised on the website. It had a great waterfront view and we would definitely come back again.

We had a wonderful stay in this perfect little getaway! The house is in a great location and is right on the lake. There is a perfect little swimming area which our 3-year-old loved. The house layout and amenities made for an easy and very comfortable stay and Luke was super accomodating for anything/everything we needed. We will definitley be back!

We recently stayed at this lakefront property and had a wonderful time. While in a pandemic we have been worried about traveling and staying somewhere that isn't our home, but when we walked into Luke's place our concerns faded away. The home was spotless clean and made our family feel comfortable and safe. The home is right on the water and it was so beautiful to wake up to everyday. The owner Luke was great with checking in and communicating any needs you may have. We hope to return again in the future!

The property was perfect for our family of 4. It was clean and Luke was great to check in as the week progressed to make sure everything was going well. Also a huge selection of books, puzzles, games, and crayons/markers!! Thanks for the great stay!

After Covid ruined our plans to go to the OBX, we thought we were settling on a trip to Deep Creek instead. Boy we’re we wrong! While this house isn’t mammoth, it’s cozy, quaint, and was perfect for our family of 6. The house looks recently renovated with new appliances, furnishings, and flooring throughout the house. It was the cleanest house we’ve ever rented. The proximity to the lake is perfect! Better than going to the beach having to lug chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, etc down the scorching sand. Here, I opened the door to the deck, sat on the deck with my coffee, and watched my kids play in the water. Truly relaxing!! Ok let me take a minute to tell you about the owner, Luke. This man must have received a degree in customer service. He was so incredibly responsive - from the time we booked and had questions, to even after our trip as we thanked him. He would respond within the hour of sending a message, usually within 15 min. He was UHHH-MAZING to work with. I highly recommend this place and hope to rent here again in the future.

We found the place extremely comfortable and loved the proximity to the lake. The owner was super friendly, accommodating and responsive. The bridge next to the property had traffic and that took away somewhat from the view and experience - just don't expect a remote setting. Overall we really enjoyed our stay there thoroughly and would recommend it as long as you are not expecting an isolated or extremely quiet setting.

We had a very nice stay at this property. The updates are as advertised, the kitchen is just about the best we've seen in.a lake rental, and we found the place to be plenty large enough for 8 people. We were concerned about the proximity to the bridge and the associated noise, but solid windows and doors minimized sound in the house. The one down-side was a lack of a grill on the deck. We were able to ask one of our friends to bring a camp grill, but it would have been nice to have it on site. Our host was very responsive to our inquiries, and made both check-in and check-out pretty simple. We would absolutely stay here again.

Very nice home with all the amenities. The dock is easy to access and has a boat slip for use. The owner is great! Very helpful with everything including restaurant recommendations and nice places to see in the area. The only downside is it does have some road noise from the bridge.

Highly recommend this lake front vacation home! Very clean and had EVERYTHING we could possibly need. Has a boat slip and a big nice deck with a view of the lake. Plenty of parking. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions beforehand.
