This was an absolute gem of a property. You walk out the door onto the dock and the lake. We were there in Mid May and although the water was still chilly, I was able to swim each day right off the dock. The house was absolutely beautiful in side and the 4 bedrooms were well set up to offer privacy in each room. There was everything you could need - bathroom supplies, kitchen supplies, towels, linens, kayak, canoe . The landscaping around the home was so beautiful! The little Cove restaurant less than a half mile away was good as was the other restaurant recommendations from the host. The host was so responsive to every email and question and provided a unique , pleasant stay!

Such a relaxing atmosphere and property...location is fantastic and space galore! If I could say one thing as a matter of personal preference of style, it would be that there is too much furniture. A few subtle take aways would just give a little more peace to the space...but nothing detracts from it being a 5 star experience!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place and will return...again

Lovely lakefront home on sheltered cove. Great kitchen for cooking plus attractive grilling area. We brought two kayaks with us (one on property), and really enjoyed lake. Also rented a Pontoon boat from nice folks at Shipwreck. Lots of nearby wineries, breweries and distilleries for touring/tastings.

Wonderful property with pretty views of a quiet portion of the lake. Nice and close to a marina with a good restaurant and not too far from ‘Moo Thru’ the kids favorite place for ice cream. The owners were very helpful and gracious hosts.

Our family had a fantastic 5-night stay in this immaculate property. The owners' pride and care of the house and yard is apparent throughout. The landscaping and plantings outside attract birds and butterflies, and the deep-water dock was perfect for swimming and mooring our rental pontoon. The house itself is meticulously maintained and beautifully decorated. The views from the amazing deck and patio are not to be missed. We couldn't decide if our favorite view was the lake or the rolling farmland surrounding the property. We can't speak highly enough of this great spot on Lake Anna and we definitely plan to return!

Overall the property was very nice with a great view of the lake. There is way to much furniture outside which made the space seem cluttered. We had the ability to dock a pontoon boat at the dock included with the property. The main concern I had was that there there were mutiple wasp nests on the property and on the physical building. We were able to get wasp spray and knock do a couple of the nests. With an infant and a very small child in tow, we were very concerned about the safety of them getting stung. Also the property was superficially clean...there were webs, dead flies and dust on the furniture in the master bedroom. Also there seem to be electrical issue...the master had flickering overhead lights that was not the result of a bulb issue. With all of this we had a nice time and the property is pretty. The owner just needs to step up the small things on the property.

House was clean and beautiful. Looked just like pictures. Well appointed kitchen, lots of outdoor space. It was a quiet and low key spot. Enjoyed our first visit to Lake Anna immensely. Thank you for sharing your home!

Such a beautiful home and perfect location. Both porches are fantastic and where we spent the majority of our time. Nice isolated Cove to swim and boat. Just can’t say enough good things about the hosts and the house. We will be returning for sure!

This property was exactly what we were looking for- peaceful cove, 2 beautiful porches that would allow you to relax and meditate on quietness, a slowing down of life. The property was nicely manicured and the flowers were so beautiful, it showed years of care. We loved every minute of being at this beautiful house and property, keys words Relaxation and Peacefulness. Thank you so much for allowing us to experience this special time at this property.

Six of us, including my 90year old father, thoroughly enjoyed this house. There are stairs but he was willing to to take them for BBQs on the lower patio. The house and porches are as cozy as they look. Great spot on the lake. Great seating for conversations. Comfortable beds. Will recommend this house to others and likely return.

Early season rental for us but water was warm and everything about the house was perfect. Boat rental from Shipwreck Rentals was perfect as well. Plenty of places to explore on the lake including a sand bar with volleyball court. Grill and outside fire pit were a nice bonus.

The house was lovely and starting the day with coffee on the upper deck overlooking the lake was a perfect start to the day. Even on colder days the warmth of the fireplace (and the heated bathroom floor) made for a cozy stay. The appointments were great, starting with any kitchen appliance you might need. Thanksgiving dinner with the lake on one side, the rows of soybeans on the other side and the reds and oranges of autumn crated the perfect setting. Norma was incredibly responsive and truly wanted us to have a perfect stay. She succeeded and we will absolutely keep this house on our list for future stays. I anticipate summer with the lake would be perfect; maybe our next stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this amazing property. Outdoors: The two outdoor porches are even more amazing than they appear in the photos. The lower porch has a propane firepit that was quite lovely on a chilly October evening. We also greatly enjoyed fishing and boating on the lake via the convenient dock, kayak, and canoe. Indoors: The house is beautiful, with a well equipped kitchen, large luxurious bathrooms, and very comfortable bedrooms/beds. We were crossing our fingers hoping the Wifi would support 4 people doing virtual school, and indeed it worked great! Norma was also very helpful when we asked a few questions prior to our visit. We had a wonderful time and we would very gladly return to this property!

My family and I rented this place with my sister and her sister. The house is immaculate, beautifully decorated, right by the lake, and amazing space throughout for us to congregate and relax. Norma was very helpful with local recommendations, and responded quickly. They have professional linen cleaning service which we didn’t need as we brought our own, but you can tell they care about their guests and their home. Would highly recommend!
