The host, Barb, went above and beyond. She was very welcoming and her communication skills were excellent. She also provided us with several restaurant recommendations and tips. There is a great coffee house just a 5-minute walk from the Nestt.
The amenities and decor exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend staying at this adorable, quaint, private apartment.
We hope to visit again!

This home is charming, the suites have everything one can need, and the property includes beautiful gardens and fountains. I have stayed here twice now and loved both experiences!

The property is very attractive, beautiful gardens, wonderful porch to sit and enjoy. The bed was very comfy and the apartment was tastefully decorated. The Village of Lake Ann has a general store that has just about anything that you would need/want. There is a little beach on Lake Ann that was quite cute. Lake Michigan was only about 12 miles away and there were a couple of beaches that we went to, located in Sleeping Bear Dunes national park. Barb Hood, the owner was very accommodating! Definitely would recommend this property.

The apartment was exactly as listed. We enjoyed the private porch, meeting the dogs, and the convenience of the location for the Sleeping Bear region. Wonderful stay.

The unit was well represented in the pictures. It's two rooms that includes a small kitchen and bathroom. It was perfect for my staying visiting in laws on the west side of Traverse City, which was only about 18 minutes away.
The unit is literally within a few hundred feet of downtown Lake Ann, which included a nice brewery with live entertainment. The location is perfect if you like to hike. There are a number of trails close by. The landscaping and the front porch were well done. I enjoyed hanging out and reading for a bit.
I will likely be staying here again.

This was in the perfect location for all the things we like to do in the area. The front porch was a dream - the perfect spot to begin and end the day. We had everything we could need or want. And Barb (and Ivo and Dash the spaniels) were very friendly!

This was a lovely, quaint apartment in a small village . Perfect for a quiet getaway. Walking distance to a market, restaurant and brewery with live music. All the things you need in case you forgot to pack something. Great communication with host. I will definitely visit again.

This beautiful home is in the perfect location to explore. Also, across the street is the perfect combination of restaurant (good food!), brewery (also delicious), and ice cream (yummy!). The room was clean and comfortable with all of the necessities. Would definitely stay again!

Greatly enjoyed our stay at Burnet Nestt! Cozy space with plenty of room for two people. Check-in communication was perfect, and the host (Barb) is super sweet and accommodating. Lake Ann is lovely, and the house is a 2-minute walk to pretty much everything! Definitely recommend this property in a prime location Up North!

Very cute and cozy stay
We had a great experience renting - we went to lake Ann because of the ease of driving to many different points was all a nice 20 minutes away. Cute brewery across the way we enjoyed.

This is a great place for one or two people to stay and explore the area. Barb is a terrific host and the cozy upstairs "cottage" is welcoming and filled with wonderful art.

Couldn't recommend location enough, though was a bit surprised at the combination bedroom/bathroom at the place, aside from that a great trip away from home!

My husband and I decided to take a road trip to Northern Michigan to see Lake Michigan and all the coastal towns. We truly loved our stay in Lake Ann. Barb was a wonderful hostess. Her property is beautiful! Centrally located between Traverse City and The Bear Sand Dunes. We can’t wait to go back!

Cozy and clean
Super great and private place to stay in the TC area. Close to Empire and an amazing brewery across the street too! Place was clean and well stocked...you really don't need to bring anything, Barb provided so many nice comforts and supplies. Beautiful property and loved hearing the water fountain at night. The bed was super comfortable too!

Wedding Weekend Stay
My wife and I attended a wedding in the wine country north of TC. The Burnett Nestt was an excellent choice to call home for the weekend and actually added to our enjoyment. The house was beautifully kept with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Being able to walk down the street to the Lake Ann Brewery to listen to live entertainment and enjoy awesome libations was an extra bonus! I would gladly book another stay at the Burnett Nestt, and I have already recommended this place to my friends.

Barb (the owner) has decorated this 2nd floor 2 room apartment in a very cute, eclectic style. Very effeciently setup (shower in bedroom, kitchen/dining and living room all together). Great for our 3 night stay!

Cozy apartment with lots of amenities. Property is very pretty with lots of gardens. Kitchen had everything we needed, refrigerator had extra snacks and drinks. Property owner Barb happened to meet us at check-in and was very nice and accommodating. The only thing we weren't expecting was that the apartment bathroom and bedroom are the same room. That was fine for us but a little strange. We also noticed a couple utensils didn't get completely cleaned. Other than that we had a great trip and would stay again!
