Great location if you are heading to the Dolomites - considering the price: you still have to drive an 1 hour to the mountains, but the price is reasonable and much cheaper than anything closer to the main attractions or ski resorts. The room is fine, basically you get a larger hotel room sized space including a small kitchenette, dining area and terrace. The bed is okay, I'd been sleeping in better and worse beds at private accommodations, this one is fine to have a relaxing sleep. The heating was good, you can set the temperature for yourself. Some soft drinks, beer, butter, jam and fruits are provided for free as a welcome gift.

Parking is an issue. Though this is quite tipical in Italy, we were told by the host/owner in advance that there will be a very near place where we can park our car. Well, yeah, they showed us what they meant but out of the 6 nights we spent in their apartment, we could use that place only once (a small free space suitable for 4 cars max.). So we had to use private parking lots of nearby shops out of their opening hours which worked at Christmas time with almost zero tourists (and police officers) in town, but if you plan to visit Casetta in high season by car be prepared to use the closest public parking lot in about 5 mins' walking distance and pay the fees. The hosts will warn you after your reservation that the place is quite small (you would not tell based on the photos) which is okay, you do not really need much more what the place can offer anyway - but still, the size of the bathroom is not really comfortable: the shower is tiny and because of the stairs leading upstairs there is no space above the toilet (and almost half of the bathroom), you can easily hit your head. The kitchenette could be a bit better equipped, there is a pot in which you can cook pasta but you can't cook more then two eggs at a time in the miniature pan(s) - not really suitable to prepare a breakfast or small dinner for two people.

What a nice spot! I felt at home immediately. Highly recommended!
