The Location just in front of Addo Elephant Park Main Gate ist great! The rooms are well equipped with water cattle, Coffee/Tee and a big bed.

We were looking for a lodge with Restaurant, and even though this lodge states in booking.com it has Restaurant, we were sent to a Restaurant 3,8km away. There ist no Restaurant at the property, they only serve breakfast.

Close to park entrance, friendly staff

Nice and comfortable glamping tents very close to the ADDO Elephant National Park. We can recommend staying here for visiting the park. The accommodation also booked a great Game drive tour for us and served good breakfast.

The Tents are huge and very luxurious. They stand far apart from eachother and you can spot a lot of animals right on your terrasse. The beds are comfortable with good quality linen. We had a very good time.

The tent was super comfortable with all the amenities. The location is amazing - super close to the South part of Addo Elephant Park, where if you're lucky you can even see animals in the park from the accommodation premises. It was also nice to have the pool, and you can also book a game reserve tour of Addo through them!

Appartement could get a little modernisations.

This was definitely the best place I stayed in South Africa. The bed was comfortable, the food was amazing, the stars were incredible and the staff were divine. I arrived with no food and no transport and they bent over backwards to make sure I was thoroughly taken care of the entire time. Highly, highly recommend. Thank you so much!

Comfortable beds, wifi worked well, wildlife on premises was great, outside patio was really nice, great views from Kudu Chalet, the chalet had everything you needed, easy parking, only 2km from south entrance to Addo Elephant Park, other activities close by, you will need a car to get around, employees are super friendly and helpful, everything was smooth and we had a great stay

Everything was a little bit dated, but it didn't hurt the overall experience and comfortability of the chalet (Kudu), limited restaurants/grocery stores in the area,

the location is really good, very close to the park. they could do sth nice, a pity that instead it’s a mess.

we booked the tent bc it looked great on the picture and bc there are a lot of good reviews. Getting there I can‘t explain them anymore. The tent didnt look at all like on the pictures. it was dark and dirty. the employee directly offered us a room in the house. but the house wasnt any better. everything dirty, ants in the bed, spiders around. the pool was so dirty and therefor inusable. the terasse and breakfast area didnt invite you to eat there. when i told the woman that worked there that we wont stay for one of the two booked nights she said „I understand“ and that she is sorry. we didnt see no other guests btw, it felt like a ghost house. such a pity, esp bc the ground and location have so much potential!

We didn't have water for two days due to a pipe bursting in the area which affected breakfast options and showers (not the hotels fault but we still felt the inconvenience!). WiFi wasn't very strong in the tent

The location was perfect as the lodge sits right at the entrance of Addo. The breakfast was excellent - many choices and all scrumptious options. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Karin is the absolute best!

There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Everything meet and even exceeded expectations. I don’t have any criticisms. The prices are reasonable, especially during high season. Again, nothing to criticise.

Amazing location, we had the pleasure to have dinner on the terrace in elephant tent and saw elephants in the National park walking by. Very friendly staff, provided us dinner on our terrace.

Proximity to Addo.

Compared to other establishments we visited during our road trip, we received the least communication from Parkview, both leading up to our stay, as well as when visiting for 3 nights.

Really slow breakfast service- and very bad breadfast assortment.

Location very good for the Addo National Elephant Park South Gate. Breakfasts whilst there were excellent.

We thought there was a certain lack of friendship during our short stay. Dinner was not available on the Sunday evening. No Maid service provided on the Sunday. For the price paid we had hoped for better.

We got a room with a view of the parking lot, and right besides reception. you could hear cars pull in and out, could here people in the reception area and even in the dining room. when people went outside to smoke, it was right in front of your window so you could hear them and smell the cigs. we came here for peace and quiet, but we did not get that. this was horrible value for money. the room is fine in itself but way overpriced for the location on the property.

The accommodation and the food were excellent. The hosts were warm and welcoming . The ribs were the best we had ever had. Great location for entry to Addo National Elephant Park

Excellent location and I assume that’s what you pay for. It’s the location you pay for here, not quality at this price point. Having said that, owners and staff were very friendly. For clarity, we were staying in the lodge and not in a tent. The room was ok, as was the bathroom, although both needed a bit of work, but the accommodation really wasn’t worth £99. Not when compared to the other places we’ve stayed in on this trip and not even compared to the UK. Nothing wrong, just all a bit average for a not so average price. It’s the price we had an issue with, not the accommodation. One small thing - there’s a hairdryer with a European plug - a round one, which doesn’t fit into the power outlet, nor in the African adapter provided. Was a tad annoying.
