Excellent lake house to have a Thanksgiving family reunion! We hiked, fished, played games and watched beautiful sunsets.

The owner charged us hundreds of dollars for damage to the property we did not cause. Refused to respond to my disputes of the charges. Additionally, the house was not fully cleaned when we arrived and was in a general state of disrepair.

The kitchen is very well stocked! The house is spacious and the location is perfect!

Nice home. The kitchen was smaller than expected. The upper loft area never really got very comfortable during the daytime hours and was moderately comfortable during the night. The basement level was nice. Washer and dryer could have been better for the price paid. The access to the lake was steeper than anticipated from the photos. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

This is our second trip to Lake Martin and we are simply blown away by the region!
This house had everything that our family needed. Plenty of room for six of us to spread out when we needed it and tons of seating when gathered together.
The steps to the dock were easy to navigate and the dock itself provided a place to sit in the sun or shade. Overall, a great place to watch the day pass by.
Would highly recommend!

House was a great location for the family. Water is in a no wake zone, which allowed the kids to play freely in the water. House is big with plenty of room for a big family. Also close to town which made shopping easy. Great communication with property manager.

This lake house was perfect for our family summer vacation (6 adults, 6 children). The home is well equipped and spacious. With 4 teenagers in our group we found the connectivity for cellphones and television worked very well. We spent a lot of time at the dock swimming, fishing, etc. The house is located on a quiet cove of Lake Martin. We had a pontoon boat rental for several days for tubing and cruising. The marina is very close and convenient. Overall it was a great week!

We had extended family, ages 75 to 10, all eleven of us. There were enough beds for everyone, kids didn't have to share! Loved the location, the dock (we brought our boat), and greatly enjoyed our first experience at Lake Martin House was adequately equipped with everything a large group requires for comfort and entertainment. Loved it!! Thanks for the great week!!

Amazing Lakehouse
This house was perfect for my guys golf trip, in every way. The location, cleanliness, amenities, well appointed kitchen, grilling opportunities, dockside lounging were all perfect. We were a group of 8 so the house is plenty big for large families or even 2 families. We'd stay here again in a second and also would recommend it to anyone.

Very nice home in a quiet area of the lake! Good internet access. Kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking necessities. We enjoyed the screened in porch and dock. Walk to dock is easy/short down a relatively gentle slope. Great location close to Alexander City.

Peaceful Retreat
This home is in a quiet cove, plenty of shade and enough sun! Boat ramp is perfect to launch a surf boat, and convenient to load quickly to dodge a summer storm. We had a blast and will rent again!

Sunsets on the dock are also amazing. And there was a sweet little duck family who came up to us every time we were out there.It was always super easy to get in touch with the owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 night stay in this gorgeous home. It is sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and has the most well-equipped kitchen of any home we've ever rented. There was even a welcome basket of goodies waiting in the kitchen for us when we arrived!
My teen loved having the bottom floor to himself. He brought his Xbox and played it on the large TV downstairs.

House was amazing. Lake was pristine. Great location. Friendly neighbors. Lydia was a delight to work with. Plenty of space for our large group to spread out. Can't wait to book this house again. Two thumbs way up!!!!!

Great Dock and Screened in Deck.
This is a very well kept family home with the right amount of beds for 12 adults. Beautiful location on Lake Martin with just about everything you need for a weeks getaway. So happy we were able to find this gem. Rented a pontoon and brought personal jet ski. The water was warm and clean. We would definitely stay here again

Wonderful stay on Shady Bay!
Great house nestled on a quiet slough. Accommodating house for our family vacation with all the extras needed for a great stay- plenty of comfortable beds, extra living space for the older kids, great boat dock, extra floats, and etc. Will definitely be back!

Perfect family get away!
This lake house was great and fit all our needs! Close to highway 280 which was great because we drove into Auburn for the day. We will definitely be back!
