My family of four (two teenage daughters, wife, me) has visited Door County several times in different seasons. For this trip, we were looking for a place that was clean, comfortable and in a good location to enjoy our Thanksgiving break. Our stay at Michelle’s Vintage Log Cabin in Sister Bay checked all of those boxes! The location was great: walkable to downtown SB, but not right in the middle of it. Upon check in, the cleanliness of the cabin was
immediately noticeable. In addition, the host provided various “extras” that made our stay all the more comfortable from information about DC to a bottle of DC wine to chocolate. Equally important, communication with Michelle, our host, was excellent from the initial welcome email to day of request for an early check in. We would absolutely stay at this cabin again!

Property was a perfect cozy stay. Kitchen was well stocked with pans or utensils if you need to cook.
Cute Christmas decorations for us upon arrival. Great place to stay in the warmer months. There’s grills, fire pit and located right across from the bay. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

We loved our time at the cabin! It was clean, inviting, and had perfect seasonal fall decor and charm. Perfect walking distance to shops and the lake. Properly manager was very helpful and offered us many family friendly activities to try during our stay. Thanks for a perfect first Door County visit for us - we will be back!

Our second time staying here. Love the proximity to downtown Sister Bay. Host was easy to communicate with and helpful with activity ideas. Would come back for a 3rd stay!

Convenient and cute. Excellent stay. Thought there was a wood-burning fireplace, but there was just candles and some of them didn’t work. The location was very nice, walk to town. The kitchen was small but efficient, some of the leftover spices in the kitchen are expired. Bed was comfortable. The bunks upstairs would be good for kids.

Everything about this cottage was an A+. Adorably decorated, immaculately cleaned, well stocked with cleaning and kitchen supplies, plenty of linens, games and information. Maximized use and flow of space, perfectly located for walking to all Sister Bay has to offer and easy driving up and down Door County. We were a family of five who stayed (two kids 6 and 9, myself, husband and mom) and were very comfortable. Michelle is also super clear, helpful and responsive in her communications (we didn't run into any issues but she checked in to make sure we didn't need anything).

We really enjoyed our stay at the log cabin! The property was clean, warm and inviting and perfect for a long weekend enjoying Door County. The location is unbeatable being a walking distance to downtown Sister Bay. Michelle is a great host and was very communicative and accommodating before and during our stay.

We enjoyed a relaxing but fun-filled week in Sister Bay and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Great location that is walking distance to town and just across from the bay, making for beautiful sunsets. The cottage was exactly as advertised—clean, well maintained and great communication with the property manager. Small but the space is well equipped and smartly furnished, and our family of four plus pooch had no problems settling in. Will definitely put on our list for another visit when we return to Door County.

The cabin has a most interesting history. The renovation of it kept the original charm. All our needs were met. We appreciated having it dog friendly; however, there were no negative reminders of any previous dogs. It was the perfect lodging for us—conveniently located to allow walks to downtown Sister Bay and viewing of evening sunsets. Our host communicated promptly and was attentive to our wants and needs. We highly recommend this property. 🐾❤️👍

My family and I loved this adorable cabin! It was incredibly clean and comfortable. It was decorated beautifully! While it was small, it was functional and my three daughters fit comfortably in the "bunk house" upstairs. The location was wonderful...a very short walk to the heart of Sister Bay. The hosts were fantastic and responsive. I loved the little touches like dish soap, lots of towels and blankets, plenty of essentials and the box of toiletries that may have been forgotten. In sum, we loved our stay at this adorable cabin!

It was a blast to live in a login cabin, with all the modern conveniences. Just enough room for two people and a dog.
We enjoyed the off season peace of late April. Highlight was renting electric ebikes and riding thru Pensinsula State Park.
Show was adequte and kitchen was well stocked and so were linens.

My mom and I absolutely loved staying at Michelle’s place during her birthday getaway! We enjoyed seeing door county in the winter. The property was perfectly located to get around and we loved the shared spaces within the cabin. Cozy getaway indeed! Pup loved it too! We will definitely be back.

We have used VRBO for a few different rentals throughout Door County, I would say this was an exceptional experience. Great communication from the property manager/owner, it had everything you needed plus some (lots of little things in case you forgot anything), very cosy/well thought decor, and great location to everything. There was even the personal touch of local coffee and wine with fresh flowers and chocolate when we arrived. We liked it so much, we rebooked to come back in September for our honeymoon. Thank you for the outstanding experience!

We enjoyed our stay in this updated, comfortable cabin. What a great location just minutes away from the shops and restaurants in downtown Sister Bay! The cabin has a cozy vibe with quaint, yet modern furnishings and a very comfortable bed. All the rooms were meticulously clean and stocked with everything we needed during our winter stay. Our dog also felt right at home with her own special pet blanket to snuggle on. Michelle, our host, was in touch regularly and available if we needed anything (we didn't). The only thing that might be helpful if you have additional people staying in the upstairs bunk room would be a bathroom / powder room for that bedroom, as using just the one on the main level would get crowded and a little inconvenient for upstairs guests. Overall, the cabin is awesome!

We were in Door County for a short stay and this cabin was perfect. Very clean, well stocked and close to shops and restaurants. Communication with Michelle was very good.

It was a wonderful and relaxing stay! The owners thought of everything, so we didn't have to! Definitely recommend this adorable little cabin for a couples getaway or a family vacation, as the up stairs is perfect for children! They even thought of providing comfortable little touches and supplies for our pooch.

We wanted a little getaway..this was perfect for us. We like to walk and were able to walk all of Sister Bay easily. It rained so a covered patio would have been wonderful, due to the smaller living space. But everything was comfortable and the host was very accommodating.
We plan to go back and bring the kids as there is a bunk room upstairs.

We had a wonderful stay in Michelle’s cabin. It was just as advertised and we were very comfortable there. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to downtown Sister Bay. Would highly recommend :)

This rental is so cute, clean and in the perfect location. All beds were comfortable and the extra blankets were nice to have! The wrap around porch with string lights allowed us to spend time outside day and night. There is plenty of space for parking, we had three cars. Highly recommend this rental.
