We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is well appointed and beautiful. Great attention to details including a great map of the lake and information about the area. The cottage had everything we needed, and we loved the location, so close to the hike and bike trails. Perfect for a family get-away.

Nice little house, perfect for a small get away. The small boat ramp down the street from the house made it easy for us to launch our kayaks for the tournament.

Perfect for our summer vacation. Lake was about 95% full so there was plenty of sand for the kids to play in. Water depth was a gradual, gentle slope. For a 6ft individual had to go out quite far to get chest deep. Again, perfect for me and my family.
The house appears to have been remodeled recently and was beautiful and well-kept. Everything was not as described- it was more!
We really enjoyed the enclosed patio with a great lake view. We met one of the neighbors who was quite pleasant. Others in the area were friendly as well. It seemed to be a quiet area, no unreasonable or excessive noise.
Courtney was excellent in her communications with us. She provided so much more than was required. The small details, such as having snacks and everything necessary for coffee were above and beyond. Same goes for the beach toys for the kids and tubes for adults.
Truly a great property and host, as well as location! If we go back to PK next year we will stay here.

The house had so much character, you can tell that the owners had put in a lot of time and effort on it. The property manager was not only prompt and helpful, she went the extra mile for us. It was a wonderful weekend getaway.

Cottage is very well equipped from the kitchen clear up to the patio and fire pit. We had a great time. We are looking forward to renting this place again. The owner was very nice. She was also very resourceful for recommendation places to eat. We highly recommend this location.

We enjoyed our stay. Great location on the water! Lots of restaurants within 10 min. Bring starter fluid if you want a fire on the beach. We did not care much for the memory foam mattress, but we are spoiled with our sleep number bed at home. The screened in porch and updated furnishings were nice.

We loved this little house! The property is beautiful and so was the view. The lake was low but there was still a nice sandy beach going out to it and it was still plenty shallow enough to play in. Overall we had a really nice experience and would love to stay again in the future!

Our first time here and we're already wanting to come back! The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed talking with Courtney so much! If you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful waterfront location - this is it! Every morning and early evening we would see deer in the front yard, which was a treat. The water is pretty and we were easily able to walk down to the shore to get a closer look. The bed in the master bedroom (the only one we used) is one of THE most comfortable we have ever experienced in a rental property. Much appreciated. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch and watching the sunsets. Many thanks to Courtney for being such a great host!

We had such a wonderful relaxing weekend at this home. The host is amazing and very attentive. House is stocked with anything you need to cook. As for me, I use paper plates and plastic forks and spoons, so was thankful that I brought the disposable stuff. House is beautiful, clean and easy to feel at home. Thank you Courtney!

Our family just enjoyed an amazing weekend at the Lazy Possum Cottage! The lake house is beautifully decorated and the owner has thought of and provided everything you might need to have a stress free weekend. Quiet area with fabulous sunsets and ice cold AC! The house is close to watercraft rentals, Trading Post grocery store and several places to eat. We hope to make this a regular trip for our family.

A perfect weekend getaway!
About the time we were starting to wonder if we had made a wrong turn, we came upon the most adorable blue house and knew we were in the right place! Easy to check in and the house was nice and cool and ready for us.
The inside was just as charming as the outside of the home. Two big bedrooms, large kitchen, and roomy living room. Everything is super updated and clean. Kids and adults fit comfortably!
This part of the lake is really quiet and the area is very shallow by the shore. Perfect for swimming and kids. And the sunset view over the lake was one of the greatest sunsets we’ve ever seen.
We had a fantastic weekend at the Lazy Possum!!

Perfect weekend for my parents
I booked this trip as a thank you for my parents helping us out. Courtney made sure that they would be taken care of and even offered some onions from the neighbors garden. They said the house was better than they expected and they enjoyed their evenings outside by the lake. They would definitely rent this house again.

Comfortable updated property
The property is updated, has spacious rooms, and is well stocked with essentials. The owner was friendly and responsive. While we never felt watched, the neighbors are very close and will report rule breaks. We would recommend and stay here again.

Moments with Mom
I was looking for a place to escape and create a special memory with my Mom, and this place was AMAZING!!! Upon arrival, everything was immaculate. Everything you can think you might need was provided, and the communication with the owner was quick, pleasant, and helpful. The view is great, the condition of the establishment is fantastic, and the experience we had I could not speak more highly of. It's a beautiful location, and the only thing I didn't like was leaving. Would definitely recommend, and use again!!!
