Very central location that e.g. makes a spontaneous swim in the sea very convenient - but also close to shops, market, sea promenade, etc. There are two bedrooms, one facing the street and one the backyard. Beds were comfortable. There is an integrated kitchen/dining area/living room, and a balcony which faces the street. We cooked several times and were satisfied both with the stove and the oven. The apartment was spotlessly clean, internet worked very well. There is a very efficient (but silent) A/C in the living room. When closed, the windows and the balcony door isolates very well against the traffic noice from the street. Parking is in a public space a few minutes away from the apartment, we never had any problems finding a free slot there. The host was friendly and flexible - we came several hours before agreed check-in slot but thanks to her calling in her sister to help out, we did not have to wait with the check-in - great service!

GOOD TO KNOW: There is at times quite a lot of traffic in the street outside the apartment. The noice from the cars and motorcycles is noticeable when having the balcony door open, but with a closed door it was not an issue for us.

Very nice location with just a few minutes walk to the harbour and some of the best restaurants (Hrpina etc..). The apartment is modern and clean, and we enjoyed many nice sunsets from the balcony. About 7 minutes to walk to the beach. Supermarket on the corner close to the apartment. Would stay here again!

To put it simple, staying in this appartment was just wonderful! From the first day it felt like home with all the little decorations and details in the room. We really liked the design. Ines, our host, was always available to help us with questions or give us tips for exploring the city. We were staying as a couple in a 2 bedroom appartment. The living room feels spacious and allows to move around freely and store your belongings without problems. I could imagine it being big enough for a family as well. We used the balcony for our breakfast and could even see a little bit of the ocean in the distance. The bed was very comfortable. One of the things we appreciated most was that the air condition is located in the living room which means you can have a cool bed room without disturbing noise or airflow. the ac is one of the most silent i have ever experienced anyway. The house is right next to a street, but with closed windows you dont hear a thing. It is also only a few steps away of the old town of makarska with plenty of bars and restaurants, which you dont hear inside as well. We enjoyed being so close to the old town as everything can be reached within a few walking minutes: Bakery, supermarket, local market... The main beach and the more touristic area with street shops, kids attractions and so on is around 5 min walking away. There is also a smaller beach in the other direction which might be around the same distance. The parking spot is around 1min away from the appartment. It is a closed area where you'll get an access card from ines. We always found a spot easily and i would recommend parking closest to the main street under the trees. What else is to say? The internet worked well and allowed streaming and the tv has hdmi in case you want to connect your laptop. Overall, we are still impressed and happy to have chosen this appartment. I would recommend it to everyone and we would definitely choose it again.
