Wonderful great location

The cottages are charming. The location was ideal. You can walk 1 block to Blue Diner and all the shops, restaurants, and the beach is a very short drive (or golf cart ride!) away. The layout was ideal for our family. My husband and I stayed in the spacious bedroom and we set up a pack n play for our toddler in the living room. Cute front porch with rocking chairs to have morning coffee. Mgmt was very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for our one day getaway

I chose this cottage for my husbands birthday weekend getaway. I wanted something in walking distance and that’s exactly what we got. Super close to Blue Dog Bistro, which I highly recommend! The cottage was clean and had everything we needed except my one suggestion would be to have a fan available in the bedroom as an option for air flow and/or to help drown out any bar noise from Val’s and/or street noise. Other than that our stay was perfect. Checking in and out was easy and I would definitely recommend this cottage!

We visited Ocean Springs for my husband's 70th birthday. It was a wonderful experience - the VRBO cottage is beautiful and very well decorated. The one suggestion I would make is to add a small table - maybe a wooden TV tray - next to the vanity in the bathroom. If two or three ladies were to rent, they would need that extra space for all the makeup and hair products! Thank you for helping to make my husband's birthday a special one!!!

This was a cozy little cottage close to everything we wanted to see in Ocean Springs. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable beds - including the sofa bed. Plenty of coffee, tp, towels - everything you need!

It was perfect for our needs.

The cottage was adorable and very clean. We loved being able to walk to our favorite shops. My husband loved being close enough to walk to get his favorite donuts and coffee. We had a great time!

Great location, easy distance to downtown, eateries, drinkeries, and shops.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. We do short stays throughout the year vs long term vacations. This property and experience was one of those "better than expected" trips. The host (Chris) was extremely thorough, punctual with every detail and personable. Our initial heck in was for 4pm and I was notified a little after 1 that the room was clean and ready for early check in if we were in town. All accommodations were as promoted and it was very clean!! Location is right on Govt St which I enjoyed late afternoons on the front porch rocking. It's a short walk to EVERYTHING downtown and a 1 minute walk to The Blue Dog Bistro and Crawfish House... We will definitely be staying here more in the future!! Sincerely- al Al Weaver Arab, Al

My 18 year old son and I spent his senior year spring break on the coast and stayed at this sweet rental. The sofa and sofa bed could use some cleaning, but we brought an air mattress for him to sleep on just in case. Had the living room had black out curtains, the room would’ve been perfect for him. (The rental really is better suited for couples.) We enjoyed watching movies together in the living room. The bedroom was very comfortable, and the bathroom was really nice. The location was the best. I loved walking down Government Street and especially loved being so close to Blue Dog Bistro which is one of my favorite brunch spots.. We rented bikes one day from Trihard Sports and we easily biked from the store to the rental to the beach with ease. Highly recommend doing this! Coming and going was easy with the coded keypad. The parking was easy, and the area felt safe. I would stay here again. Highly recommend!

Great location and very clean and cute house. We had a great time!

This was a great place to stay. My wife have previously stayed here and told me how great and convenient to "downtown". Living room, with TV and minifridge, king size bedroom, large bathroom. Friday afternoon we spent several hours walking down Govt St, to Washington. Would highly recommend the Govt St Cottages. Btw the manager was very responsive to questions we had.

The property was perfect. Just enough space to have room to stretch out, small enough to be cozy. You can park your car and walk everywhere you need to go. The rocking chairs on the front porch were great. I highly recommend this cottage.

Stayed in Magnolia cottage during early February. Cozy and clean. Watched Mardi Gras parade from front porch. Awesome place, highly recommended.

My husband and I enjoyed a belated anniversary trip to Ocean Springs and stayed in the Magnolia Cottage. Accommodations were excellent. It was wonderful to have a small living space in addition to the bedroom. Plus, coffee on the porch in the morning was delightful. Great location and great communication with hosts. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This little cottage is precious. Love the way it’s decorated. I think better towels would go with the white, spa-like vibe because the towels were thin and old. The shower had hair on the walls we had to rinse off but the rest of the cottage was very clean. Even the wine glasses they had there seemed freshly washed. I’d definitely stay there again. :)

Enjoyed our weekend stay in Ocean Springs for our friends wedding. Great location, property is as described, good communication from the host.

This is our third time staying in Ocean Springs and our second time staying at this property. We love the atmosphere of this area. Love that everything from shopping to restaurants/bars are within walking distance! We will definitely be back!!

Nice, quiet and centrally located.

The most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in ! The huge pillows were also nice ! Very close to everything casinos , beach , & restaurants . We will be back during our trips to ocean springs !

The furniture was aged. The dresser drawers were not in good shape. I would suggest getting better furniture and bed for the price you are asking for. No alarm clock. TV in the bedroom didn’t work well. Couldn’t get sports stations on the TV. The bathroom vanity was to small thus limiting counter space. Someone started spray cleaning the windows and roof around 9 AM. That’s before checkout. The toilet makes a wonky sound. It needs to be serviced. Location was outstanding…

Staying right on government street and being able to walk most places was perfect. The cottage was very nice and clean. Would stay again!

Bluewater Cottage was Awesome!! It was perfect for our getaway. We rented a golf cart to get around but the location of the property is not far from all the places to go eat or shop if you wanted to walk. My favorite part of the cottage was the front porch. I love to be outside and to just sit and rock was amazing, especially with the beautiful weather we had. Will definitely be back.

This was a very enjoyable getaway for us even though the weather was not the best during our stay, but the weather was not as bad as predicted. Biloxi Mississippi is just across the bridge from Ocean Springs. Ocean Springs has lots of local activities as well. Matter of fact, I proposed to my girlfriend at the Chester M. McPhearson, Jr Pier. She said "YES"! This was an overall great experience.

Property was well maintained and close to areas of interest in Ocean Springs. A stool in the shower/bathroom maybe beneficial for older guests. I would stay here if I make return visit to Ocean Springs.
