I’ve stayed at no less than 20 places in and around Guerneville, and this place ranks way up there. It was obvious that the house was equipped to make sure folks had everything they could need as opposed to just what one could get away with rental house wise. Amazing views of the river and very comfortable rooms.

Charlies place was awesome for our group of 7. It’s easily accessible to the Gurneville strip and has river access. The place it self had an awesome deck for dinners and hang outs.

Best run property I've visited. Incredibly well equipped with lots of helpful information and signage. The location can't be beat: right on the river with a beautiful view. There are lots of water toys to use on the river.

Great house, location, access to Russian River, water floats and kayaks, great sunset view. Well supplied kitchen and good outside grill for preparing meals. We’ve rented this house several times over the years and always enjoyed it.

We had am amazing time on the river in this spacious vacation home. The house is better looking in person than in the pictures. We loved the provided kayaks and had fun in the jacuzzi We will definitely be back. Thank you Charlie fir your quick responses. Can’t wait to come again.

Rented this lovely home for my family celebrating my father’s 70th Birthday. Couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming home. The place is huge and spacious. Didn’t realize they stocked the kitchen with so many things. We brought a lot kitchen things we ended up not needing. Place has a beautiful private view of the river and a nice dock to launch the kayaks they provide or floating inner tubes. The house has a lot of step so ensure that your family doesn’t have any accessibility issues. Kitchen is on top floor. Charlie the property manager is very nice and incredibly helpful and responsive. 5 stars. The house was amazing!

Everything was great and Charlie was super proactive and accommodating. Beds are comfy, kitchen is nice, view and location can't be beat. This is thee house to rent on the river!

Stayed for 4 nights. Awesome house right on river. Very cool decks built around a giant redwood tree. great kitchen. Nicely furnished. Main suite and another bedroom with direct access to a killer deck with hot tub and sitting area. Had 4 kayaks and life jackets. There is a floating dock for river access though definitely for kids, younger adults. There are a lot of stairs in this home. Layout a little funky but no problem for a vacation rental. HVAC very good. Top floor gets a little hot but lower levels stay cool. Lots of ceiling fans. Older less mobile folks will not be able to access the dock as need to navigate 5 or 6 flights of stairs and a somewhat rickety gangway. Communication and interaction with property managers excellent. A sofa leg was (previously) broken and a very friendly gentleman was sent out to fix it without a problem. Had all towels, soap, supplies needed. Internet access very good. Will keep on short list for our Russian River trip next summer!

Came here with my mam and sisters for a break away from the city. What a wonderful weekend we had! So close to the town and mini golf! We enjoyed our own deck were we made use of the house kayaks down the river. Thanks for such a lovely trip! We will definitely be a go to house for a break away.

So let's start with Charlie the owner/property manager. He is awesome! Responded quickly and answered all my questions even if they may have sounded weird. We had my wife and I with our 16yr old son, his 2 teenage cousins, SIL and BIL. The house was VERY clean and had all the amenities you could ever want in a home away from home. We were able to get everyone's want with a river for fishing/kayaking off a private dock, hot tub, and beautiful views from every deck with just enough privacy that you didn not feel confined. Bathrooms were spa quality with well appointed rooms and living spaces. Would recommend to anyone who wants to get out of the city and genuinely RELAX. Wife didn't want to leave and is wanting a longer trip next time. Only con was that I realized I need to work out for the amount of stairs this place has but they led to all the great views so well worth it. Thank you Charlie for the perfect tree house on the river!

This was a last- minute booking via VRBO (one can-not easily book the day of arrival). I am new to VRBO. The property in spectacular: right in the heart of nature with redwood trees and the river in full view. There are 3 floors of lovely rooms and pampering spa bathrooms. The hot tub is soothing, right off the master suite. We were in it after long hikes and watched the stars fill the night sky. Kitchen fully equipped with a gas grill on the deck. What made my stay at his incredible house possible was the patience and kindness of the property manager. Charlie, property manager, was the hero in my story... He spent his Friday evening sorting out the confusion with VRBO, added some special touches to the house for our welcome, and even dropped by in minutes to help me with the entrance lock! Charlie is truly a blessing to whomever has the opportunity to stay in this lovely home. It is a large, beautiful home, with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We were just two but the home could easily and comfortably accommodate a large group or family. Many Thanks to Charlie for his patience and kindness! And shout out to Sean! Sincerely, Judy... the sleepless and confused nurse requiring some destressing.

Our group came to the area to enjoy Passport weekend, and this property did not disappoint! Beautiful view, well-stocked kitchen, great communication with the owner, clean and comfortable rooms. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderfully designed and appointed house on a beautiful section of the river. The main level has a generous open layout combining kitchen, dining and living room which flows directly out to elevated deck with commanding views of the river. Deck is built around a massive 100+ foot redwood tree to reinforce the treehouse feel of the place. We spent 90% of our time on this deck, eating, socializing, bird watching, stargazing and watching the river life force flow by us. Separate lower deck is generous with hot tub and social lounging area furniture. House and kitchen are very well accessorized for a wonderful stay. Perfect for our 6 person reunion. Property manager Charlie was fantastic, communicative and helpful the entire way. We will be back when the river level drops enough to swim and kayak. 5 star stay!

As advertised. Enjoyed the coast, wineries, a casino, Armstrong State Park and a walk in the rain from this clean spacious house.

Very clean with well-stocked kitchen and nice layout of beds/baths. We found the house to be chilly, with a Nest thermostat that reset to 66 at points in the day, once I woke in the night to find it at 64. We had elderly family with us and this was an issue. The host nicely decorated for Christmas, which we all appreciated.

We loved having our reunion here. Lots of space and bathrooms. Our grandson slept in the master closet! Great views & sunset from the deck on the Russian River, with a few ducks & a blue heron flying low along the river. We were close to Armstrong Woods, the Jenner coast & Safeway. The kitchen was well equipped so my gourmet kids could cook. Thanks so much!

Peaceful, beautiful house in the redwoods that overlooks the Russian River and is situated between the coast and wine country. My daughter, her best friend and my good friend all had an amazing stay. The house is beautiful and has everything you could want or need. The host was so nice and answered any questions promptly. We needed to recharge and this was the perfect place to do it. We wishes that we didn’t have to leave.

Beautiful property surrounded by gorgeous Redwoods right on the river. Tons of indoor and outdoor space to hang out. Was super easy to to take the kayaks out on the river. The home has everything you need, except bring your own shampoo as there is only body wash in the showers. The exit checklist chores seemed a bit over the top but Charlie was A+ in communication before, during and after the trip. Overall the place was amazing and we had an incredible time. Thank you!

We had a fantastic time staying at the house! 4 kayaks, lots of floaties, well stocked kitchen, and all around comfortable. There are a lot of stairs if this is a consideration for anyone but we were fine with the amount of stairs. Will be back!

Everything I expected and more!!!

The house is in the perfect location, right on a quiet part of the Russian River. The large windows, decks, floating dock and kayaks make enjoying the river very easy.

Great location with scenic views of the river mountains and redwoods. House was well stocked and taken care of. Charlie, the host, communicated very well and was always available if needed. We would definitely return if ever back in the area.

This was one of the nicest homes we have rented. The river views were outstanding! We put an easy-up shade cover on the river deck and spent every afternoon playing, swimming and kayaking in the beautiful stretch of river. My son's family rented a house nearby and joined us on the dock. His 3 younger children stayed in the water on the house- supplied water floats all afternoon. Heavenly!

The location was right on the river with multiple decks. Very peaceful and spacious. My team loved it. The kayaks and floated added so much fun to our time there. Well equipped kitchen and excellent communications with property manager.
