This house was beautiful with an incredible art collection inside and out. It felt like a home more than a rental, with a great sense of the people who have lived there. It has a lovely sense of isolation with views over the hillsides, yet it was only 15-20 minutes to Santa Fe Plaza. And the stars - oh my! More stars at night than I've seen in years. The owner was very communicative and helpful. I highly recommend this rental.

We are so happy we found Jan and her casita home. We had everything we needed and more to make for a perfect relaxing getaway from our triple digit Texas summer heat. This is an exceptional property both inside and out and we highly recommend staying here. The furnishings and decorations are so lovely and special, and in keeping with the Santa Fe culture and surroundings. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. Jan is the perfect host and we so much appreciated her personal involvement and follow-up to ensure our stay was the best it could be. We definitely would stay here again!

This 2 bedroom/2 bath home has stunning views from the large terrace. the furnishings are comfortable and stylish, the beds great. With a fully appointed kitchen, it's a great place to entertain. The host is gracious and responsive and her "guide book" to Santa Fe spot on. Post-Opera stargazing on the terrace was one of the highlights of our time in this sensational retreat. And it's close to Santa Fe and the very near-by Tesuque Village Market, a great spot for excellent NM cuisine.

This casita is a gem: Spectacular location, beautifully appointed home, and wonderful personal touches with art and Southwest memorabilia. The home is stocked with every possible item one would need (better than my own home), and the host is incredibly responsive, helpful, and welcoming. I'm already planning my return visit.

This magnificent two bedroom cottage was better than we even imagined! The pictures cannot tell you how welcomed you will feel upon entering. It is simply BEAUTIFUL!
Completely private and quiet. The kitchen is well stocked, beds comfortable, extremely clean and the host, Jan is the nicest person and very easy to communicate with.
If you are visiting the area, we cannot recommend this little slice of paradise enough.
The location is great for going into town and don't miss the Tesuque Village Market. Great food, bakery and fun store.

The photos do not do this property justice - stunning and yet super cozy. The location for us was awesome as we were attending a wedding at the Four Seasons. All rooms were spacious and well-appointed. We had everything we needed and then some. The outdoor areas in particular were amazing and relaxing. If you enjoy peaceful surroundings and star gazing I cannot imagine better.....

Private art filled casita with lovely views, trails, great sky, well lit and outfitted kitchen with basic supplies already stocked, multiple comfy spots inside and out with great kiva fireplaces, a super host - we had a great stay and would highly recommend this home.

Traveled to the property after weekend in Albuquerque for balloon fest. Great transition to a more “relaxing” environment- property was immaculate, very cool decorated, great views and not a bad drive into downtown Santa Fe (about 15 minutes). Property owner was super responsive. All in all a great 3 days!

Jan's property is the perfect getaway spot in Santa Fe. The house is clean and spacious and exceptionally comfortable with views (from inside and outside) that are unmatched. It's only 15 minutes from town and all the restaurants and things to do Santa Fe has to offer, and only 1 minute from the Four Seasons Resort (great restaurant and bar, GREAT Spa, etc.). We highly recommend this property.

Traveling with our lifelong friends we have made so many wonderful memories. Our experience at this lovely home is among the best! We were so fortunate to stay in this beautiful location perched high in the hills. The views were spectacular and the sunsets gorgeous. Just a short distance from the Santa Fe square and wonderful restaurants. We could not have asked for a more beautiful surrounding or perfect host. Jan was gracious, personable and her book of recommendations was so very helpful. We all look forward to returning again soon.

Our group of 4, 2 couples, were comfortable in this well-appointed high desert getaway. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and the living area is spacious. There is easy access to the interstate, from which downtown Santa Fe is about 15 minutes and Bandelier and Valles Caldera parks are about 1 hour, Taos pueblo is about 1h 45m via the gorgeous high road. This is a space that is obviously well cared for and a true family home. We would stay again without hesitation.

The property was great for 2 couples, each have their own bathroom. It's away from the square not far from the 4 Seasons. There were a few issues with the property but the host responded immediately. She was very helpful with restaurant and restaurant recommendations .

This casita provided the perfect setting for our short visit to Santa Fe. The quiet and somewhat remote location was a short, easy drive into Santa Fe and very close to Tesuque Village Market, which quickly became our go-to for great local favorites. We would certainly stay here again!

Three of us meet in Santa Fe every summer, and this year we had the good fortune to stay in this lovely home in the hills. The complex is picture perfect and this residence is comfortable and well appointed.
The home's owner is gracious and communication with her was very easy.

We stayed at Jan’s home for the weekend we were in Santa Fe for the opera. Perfect location. Just 10 min from the opera house and 20 min from the Plaza. Jan had everything you would need for a relaxing weekend among piñon trees and glorious sunsets.

Everything was great! Jan was so easy to work with! The home was beautifully decorated, and the views were gorgeous! The location was so convenient to do everything from hiking, dining out, shopping and enjoying the spa. We will for sure be back!

Gorgeous home and majestic mountain views.
We really enjoyed our stay. We immediately felt right at home. The decor was beautiful and everything was so clean and inviting. Nothing was lacking from towels to laundry facilities. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed to prepare a full meal. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool facilities and the outdoor spaces. The view is stunning! The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of closet space. The baths were so nice. We definitely would like to return and would recommend this home to friends and family. Than you so much Jan. You made our stay perfect!

Beyond wonderful
Jan's place is truly magical and we cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here and how wonderful Jan is to work with. She made us feel so welcomed and at home. The casita hums with positive energy and the caring vibes imbued by The Turquoise Lady - Jan's mom, an amazing pioneer spirit and remarkable woman in her own right - who lovingly curated the fascinating pieces decorating the casita. The setting is delightfully private and we spent many happy hours sitting on Jan's patio enjoying the peace, serenity and connection with nature of this beautiful spot. We will absolutely be back as this place is a genuine treasure - as is Jan.

Santa Fe Casita ❤️
This casita was absolutely the most enjoyable experience hand down. If I could rate it a 10 I would. You can truly feel the love that went into this casita. Every piece of furnishings and the decor were so beautiful to come home to after a day of shopping, hiking, exploring and just relaxing taking in that sunshine. I would encourage anyone staying there to also read “The Turquoise Lady”… such an awesome journey and an inspiration to all who read it. It will be a challenge to find another VRBO to top this casita. Jan was a wonderful host always made herself available if you needed anything. We love visiting NM and will be back. Thank you Jan❤️

Magical Holiday Getaway
A beautiful northern NM location, exquisitely decorated Southwest style casita, with a touch of snow and an inviting fire in the fireplace. What more could one want? We enjoyed hiking in the area and appetizers and drinks at a nearby resort. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked which made cooking a pleasure. And Jan Rosenthall, the host, is super repsonsive. Would definitely come back. One caution: there are multiple stairs up to the house. This could be a challenge for some.

The property is great, everything that you need is there!! We have been traveling for the past years and this house is beautiful! The views of the mountains are amazing, it snow one day while we were there and it was spectacular! I can only write great things about it, Jan is very responsive too, she text us before, while there and after we left!! Definitely recommend this house and we are planning to go back soon! We spent 4 nights at Casa Cochiti. It was just what we needed. The house is well appointed and the location is excellent. Lots of privacy and the perfect place to unwind and recharge.

My sister and I spent 5 wonderful days at this exquisitely decorated casita. The interior is designed in high-quality, authentic Southwestern USA decor. The home was well stocked with all the necessities, and then some. The patios provided not only beautiful views of the surrounding area, but a gentle breeze, and "the sound of silence". If you are longing for a peaceful getaway that also provides beautiful and comfortable surroundings within a 10 minute drive of Santa Fe, choose this listing.
