Comfortable and good location

Key access was difficult. Finding the lockbox with the key was confusing as we were new to the area and we had to ask several people how to get there. The rental was overpriced and the check out times very inflexible. We stayed for 3 night's and 2 days but were charged for 3 days and 3 nights and told that there was absolutely no extension for the check out time at 11am on the 3rd day morning though the payment and booking was taken for the whole day. Felt overcharged. The cleaning charges were unjustified as we kept the apartment very clean.

Blocked shower drain. Dirty glasses. Smashed window. Couldn’t adjust oven temperature. Key fob for garage didn’t work so we couldn’t park. Messaged repeatedly about this but nobody bothered to respond. Lifts didn’t work so a 7 floor hike

Number of issues require attention. Slats were loose. Did not work or lay on the floor. Lampshade mounted with paper clips, door handle of sliding door is broken.

Perfect location, walking distance to most of places of interest in MK. Very helpful host, responded quickly to any questions we had. Despite being in the middle of town it was VERY quiet at the property. WiFi was fine and the TV had a good selection of channels available.

We had a very comfortable week here, the property has some usual wear and tear inside but nothing important.

The location

We paid extra to stay in what was supposed to be a deluxe apartment. However it was far from deluxe, and vastly overpriced compared to other deluxe apartments we’ve stayed. The beds were standard IKEA jobs, very squeaky. The pillows were of very poor quality; we had to use the pillows from both bedrooms, just to try and get enough comfort to sleep. Door to the master bedroom is broken. Furniture was bashed and chipped, a drawer full of wires, routers and goodness knows what else. The radiator in the spare room, was covered in rust. The TV in the spare room (why not have it in the master room?) didn’t work at all. we tried various remotes and changed batteries (yes it was turned on at the socket) but to no avail. Internet was absolutely shocking. Not the actual wifi dropping but the internet itself. If you’re planning on working or trying to watch a film, don’t. Both showers in the en-suite and main bathroom need looked at. The pressure was awful and the water went from piping hot to freezing cold, every few seconds. The bath has a major safety issue with no grab rails. The shower door in the en-suite is filthy with mould in the cracks. Very basic items in the kitchen. No jug, sieve, whisk etc, only two fork for an apartment that sleeps six. Preparation knives were blunt to the point of buying our own. The non-stick has worn off the pans so things stick if you don’t keep a close eye. In my opinion, they need replaced. The plug doesn’t fit the sink (too small) so soaking pots wasn’t possible. The apartment is expected to be left clean but no cleaning products are provided so you need to do what you can with a paper towel and washing up liquid. The property is in much need of an overhaul to bring it up to deluxe standards. Cracks down the walls and the kitchen floor, holes in the wall where the TV should be. We were incredibly disappointed having paid so much money for what was supposed to be a special weekend.

The apartment is right in the centre of the Hub, many well known bars and restaurants right on the doorstep. Big shopping centre is about 15mins walk away. Xscape is about 15mins walk away. Everything is in walking distance. Excellent to have our own free parking space. Kitchen has all cooking utensils with cups, mugs, plates and cutlery.

Sky did not work kept asking for viewing card. Blinds could do with replacing.

the weather was too hot and they offer only one fan for the hole apartment which let all of us sleep in hot weather. the car fob was broken and not working we asked for replacement they bring it back worse then before. the kitchen wasn’t clean good

great location, plenty of bars and restaurant , 5 min walk to MK shopping centre , and food shop just across the rd, something for everyone, not far from the train station.

just an update of the location of the lock box and the different fobs required to enter the parking area, and into the building, otherwise everything else was good
