This little apartment was perfect for out getaway. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance, but it is a nice quiet area. The apartment itself was clean and well stocked. It was a relaxing vacation.

Host was wonderful, location is very convenient, residence clean. Right across from O2 Fitness, a state of the art gym-$50 for 1 week access. The perfect night would be the Belmont for Happy Hour 5-7 and Forte Jazz Club after, both in downtown Charleston. The home itself had no smells, perfect size, quiet at night, bed was so cozy it was hard to get out of, modern decor and appliances. Would trust any property managed by Kit Thrash to be a well-cared for one.

This was a great place to stay. The location could not have been better. A few minutes to Folly beach or downtown Charleston, SC onto Sullivan's Island. The bathroom needed some work though. There was a loose board on the entrance to the bathroom, the fixtures were loose from the shower/tub, and the light switch was in a location not even in the right area. Other than that I have no complaints.

Perfect size for a single or a couple. Great location on James Island, easy drive to Folly Beach or downtown Charleston. Kudos to Kit, our host--we love staying here!

My daughter and I stayed for her 13th birthday trip. This house was located halfway between Folly beach and downtown. It made for easy drives to shopping or our beach days. It was a very safe area and quiet at night. The nearby grocery stores and restaurants provided quick access to what we needed.

We were in Charleston for 4 nights, primarily to see one of our favorite performers in concert, but also to tie-in a little site seeing. This place and location worked great for our short stay. Communication was excellent with the owners prior to the stay and everything from check-in to check-out was very smooth.

My husband and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary trip and it was perfect! The place itself is very cute and was perfect for just the two of us. It was located in the perfect spot being only about 20 minutes from the beach depending on traffic and 15 minutes from downtown. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband & I loved our recent stay at Highland Lil’ Place! The host offers outstanding hospitality, providing a sparkling clean property with thoughtful touches. She was incredibly welcoming & helpful; providing local tips to make our overall experience fantastic. The location was perfect- close to both the beach & downtown. The property had everything we needed. It was very quiet, in a neighborhood with private parking. We Highly recommend this property & its host to others. We will be back!

Had a great time. Everything was as listed. Clean and safe place. Items for beach and outdoors were available but we were there for a few history and food tours in April so we didn’t partake in those amenities. The place has all you need so book it and enjoy!

This was great! For a young, college student who loves to travel, I was able to purchase this and explore a beautiful part of South Carolina. It was the perfect size, with everything that was needed (cooking utensils).
The owner left typed-out instructions/introductions/suggestions! When I make another trip to SC, I'll be booking with her again!!

My husband and I enjoyed our 6 night stay on James Island. Kit had the place well stocked with everything we needed, and she was very communicative and concerned that all was well with our stay. We were pleasantly surprised how close we were to everything, especially downtown Charleston. So we went there often. The place was a cozy, comfortable home base to get out and see all of the area. We thought the place was wonderful. It was a perfect size for 2 and it was exactly as listed. The location was good for going different directions. Most of our event was downtown so we took an Uber as parking is kind of difficult in Charleston. We would have loved being closer to town in the same little place.

We have stayed here several times and it is just perfect for us. Ideally situated just off the main road on James Island which is Folly Road, easy drive to the beach, easy drive into Charleston, lots of restaurants from fast food to fine dining and everything in between. The unit itself is comfortable and cozy but with all the amenities you need...greaat place to stat!
