Great house in an awesome location on Beech Mountain. Owners couldn’t be nicer and more responsive. Best place to stay with dogs on Beech Mountain. Incredible fenced in yard. Spacious, comfortable, cozy and extremely clean. Could accommodate at least 8 people comfortably (even though we were only 4). Best location to see deer too. Highly recommend.

My family celebrated Thanksgiving week here and had a great time. The house was well equipped with plenty of room to spread out and a huge backyard for the pups. Extra treat was to see herds of deer roaming the neighborhood. Owners were great and would definitely rent again.

IT WAS CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. THE HOSTS WERE ATTENTIVE TO OUR NEEDS. IT WAS GREAT FOR OUR FAMILY & TWO DOGS!

Everything was just great! The house was just perfect. We saw lots of deer and a family of 4 bears just walked around.There are lots of things to do within a very short drive. We are only sad that we planned a long weekend instead of a week. We loved it and plan to return as soon as possible!

My husband and I traveled with our two pups for a long weekend getaway. The Beech Tree Hideaway was the perfect spot for us! Our two dogs loved the large fenced in back yard. The house is incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace every evening and the hosts left a very detailed guide that helped us find a few trails to get the dogs out to walk on. The host was very responsive for any questions I had leading up to our trip. Beech Mountain is a beautiful area that we would love to return to!

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were great and very informative. The property was great for kids and dogs- so nice to find an updated property that allows large dogs! Beech Mountain is great in the summer- plenty to do or just relax. We saw so many deer! We made a contest each day as to who doing the most deer. Would stay again!

Terrific property! The owners made our experience so seamless and they really take pride in their house. Lots of great attention to detail, like helpful information on the area and a cute jar of biscuits for the dog. The place was extremely clean and the yard is big and delightful. We would not hesitate to return.

Great house with plenty of space for the whole family including our fur babies with water bowl, leashes and toys included. I would have rated the cleanliness higher but there was dog hair on the carpet. The owners were very responsive and accommodating.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It is a wonderful place to take you pets. We had two dogs and the fenced in area in the back was GREAT! Property owners were great to work with and everything was just as stated. Our stay was wonderful.

Charter Hills was by far the most comfortable vacation home we have stayed at. It was extremely well equipped, clean, and the fenced yard was wonderful for our dogs. Location is close to all Beech / Banner Elk have to offer. Host was immediately available. Don't hesitate. Very quiet, private yet close to everything.

This place was perfect for or Easter getaway. Loved the house and enjoyed watching the deer in the yard each day. Everything we needed.

your house was a very, very fine house, with 3 dogs in your yard, life used to be so hard, but your place was what we needed to relax and enjoy the nature and wildlife, hope we are able to return some day, thank you Ben and Dana.

This was a great house for our family’s winter vacation. The weather worked out in our favor and delivered 4+ inches of snow the night we checked-in. Our two young boys had a great time sledding in the back and side yard. It was also conveniently located to Beech Mountain ski resort where we were able to take advantage of the fresh snow. We needed a week to relax and the house provided us with everything we were looking for in a winter mountain trip.

The house was great! The location was within 10 minutes drive of the slopes at Beach Mountain, of course that is with snow almost every day! The scenery around the house was very nice, and my kids loved seeing the many deer that move through the yard almost EVERY day. The house was as listed on the site and we had absolutely no problem with anything. A little advisery though if it is snowing you most likely WILL need 4wd to get up the driveway it's a pretty good climb. All in all our stay was wonderful and we will definitely be back!

I'm a firm believer that things happen for a reason. We had another cabin booked and plans fell through. We ended up at Ben & Dana's cabin and when I say that this is a GEM, I mean it. Magical cabin, but even more so awesome owners who are SO welcoming and accommodating! They have an an extremely spacious fenced in yard, that was AMAZING for our huskies! We got a ton of snow and they had the time of their life. Seeing them happy, makes us happy! Ben and Dana are 100% dog friendly and that is VERY rare to find with owners. We appreciate that so much as it allowed us to have such a magical vacation.An 8 minute drive to Beech Mountain Ski slopes, 15 minutes to the "Emerald outback" trail, 5 minutes from the most awesome dog park, and 20 Minutes to the Food Lion. There is a decent size backyard fence for your dogs running around. Check in and check out process was very easy to follow and was not a hassle. The guidebook was very detailed and provided a lot of useful information about the house and surrounding locations (places to go, things to eat, emergency situations, etc.) Overall a very comfortable and fun experience.
