Wonderful stay. So well equipped from strollers and toys to pool table and music system. Kitchen was spacious and modern with everything we needed for several large family meals. The ‘old house’ charm and quirkiness added to the fun. The two bathrooms sufficed and the upstairs clawfoot tub with handheld was great for the littles. Another shower in addition to the one downstairs would help for the adults. Location is prime while being away from downtown noise at night. Everyone agreed we would enjoy another stay!

We came to Charlevoix for our daughter’s wedding at Castle Farms. The Garfield was a perfect location. We also enjoyed the character and cleanliness of the house. Joseph was great at responding to our questions once we arrived. Highly recommend this home!

Had a great stay, plenty of space for a big family, lots of historic charm, and very kid friendly! My 4 year old nephew had a great time playing hide and seek in the house. I also appreciated the close proximity to shops and restaurants downtown, quite walkable if you can handle we the uphill climb on the way back.

This rental was the perfect location for us to stay in for my sons wedding at Castle Farms. Joe communicated very well with me. He even let us check in early. The only downfall we had was unfortunately our car alarm went off when we came back late at night and took us some time to get turned off. The neighbors called and complained to Joe. I felt really bad and thought that was uncalled for. They have a noise ordinance after 9 and they don’t mess around.

Family getaway
House was nice, loved location and the character of the inside of the house. Hard to only have one shower and did not realize air was window air conditioner. Also, felt outside of house needs to be cleaned up.
It was great to be able to make meals and grill outside!

We loved the two living rooms and the front porch!! Kitchen is beautiful and so large!! Bedrooms are great sizes and many configurations. We didn’t use The bonus rooms, but they would have used if we had small children!! You have to see this place!!

Stayed 3 nights/4 days for a family wedding at the Castle. It’s literally 5 minutes away. You can walk to downtown Charlevoix. LOVE the rooms! For winter months felt the thermostat should higher due to cold drafts in some of the room on the main floor.

Wedding weekend getaway
This home was perfect for our long weekend in Charlevoix! It was clean, spacious, very well appointed, great location, and the host was awesome. Next time we come we will definitely try some of the restaurant and activity recommendations. This trip was all about a beautiful Castle Farms wedding!

Great house close to everything
We came to Charlevoix for our son’s wedding. House is close to castle farms and downtown. Easy walk to restaurants, lighthouse, and mushroom houses. Well stocked kitchen and lots of towels! Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Perfect weekend!
Came to Charlevoix with a group of couples from Florida for our friends wedding. The house was so cute, everything was clean and very comfortable. Joseph was a charm of a host! Responsive to any questions. The town was beautiful, we were walking distance to the adorable little Hallmark downtown. Our only complaint is we couldn't stay longer. 10/10 Would come back!

Great Place walking distance to everything in Charlevoix
What a great place for a vacation. I rented this home for my extended family. We were in town for a wedding at Castle Farms. This home was absolutely perfect. The home is beautiful, is decorated nicely, has comfortable beds , had plenty of room and was walking distance to everything in Charlevoix. The owner called to make sure everything was OK too- which was great. I Highly recommend this place and host.

The owner was incredible! I had some questions when I arrived and he responded right away. The home is a restored 1890s farmhouse, very nicely done. I give this home a 5 star rating because of the owner. The home could use another bathroom and central air but not a huge deal.

We booked the house for 10 days and I’m sorry I didn’t book it for a longer stay.
Joe is the perfect host, very attentive to all our needs. House was spacious and the backyard provided some quality soccer and baseball.

The house was large and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable. We loved the bonus game room in the back of the house. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the bottle of wine to welcome us to the home. Joe, the owner, was helpful and responsive. We loved the walkability to downtown and the ice cream shop and the short drives to some of his recommended spots like Ferry Beach (less than a mile away) and Mount McSauba (less than 2 miles). Would definitely recommend!

Property was great
Property was as expected and owner communication was prompt. Due note the handheld shower on the second floor (which the listing clearly stated and we were aware of when we booked). No complaints here! We had a good stay.

Family Vacation
Our family had a wonderful time in this adorable home. It was close to downtown and the beach. The house was clean, kitchen stocked with necessities, bedrooms comfortable, and fit perfect with our seven adults and four children. Our hosts were super communicative, responded to questions quickly, and offered ideas as to what to do while in town. We highly recommend this home and will stay again when in town!

This was a nice house to stay in. Plenty of room in the yard, a firepit, and nice front deck to drink morning coffee. Lots of space in the house for many guests and kids. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and spacious. Game room on the back is a nice bonus. We would stay here again.

Well stocked and clean rental
We had a great time and enjoyed the proximity to downtown. The house was super clean and well stocked with items to make the stay better. The bedrooms were great, only thing that would make it better would be a shower in the upstairs bathroom.

Cozy, comfy, relaxing stay!
Very cute, comfortable, plenty of space! We walked downtown and relaxed for a cozy winter getaway! Would love to stay again! Owner was super accommodating, helpful and available for any needs!
