The host Andrea was so nice and helpful….and went out of his way to suggest nearby bakeries and grocery stores. The location is perfect, close to Duomo, metro and right across from the Castello! Would recommend.

My family and I recently stayed at this apartment in Milan for a week. The location is truly amazing - you really do see Castello Sforzesco right outside the window! The apartment is very close to all the primary destinations in Milan - art, history, and shopping, depending on what you want to do. There are tons of convenience stores, restaurants, and cafes just around the corner. And yes, the little sandwich stands directly across the street in front of the Castle is excellent! We ended up walking everywhere, but there is very easy access to public transportation, all within about 1 block. With Codorna train station right around the corner, getting to the apartment from the Malpensa airport was very easy. The apartment itself is cozy and has wonderful, old European character. Having 2 rooms with doors was great, giving everyone in the family a chance to rest and recharge. Also, Andrea is a great host - he's very friendly, flexible, and helpful. I hope we do get to visit Milan in the future, and we'll try to stay at the same place!

The apartment location is amazing with stunning views of the Castel. Andrea is a wonderful host and promptly respond to questions and concerns when needed. Walking distance to all main points of interest including the Duomo and Galeria Victorio Emanuelle. Apartment is old and has all the basic needs. The only inconvinience was that has limited power capacity so we could not use more than one appliance at the time. We would definetely return to Andeas's place.

The location is perfect, the view of the Castello is overlooking from the windows. Area is close to major tourist attractions. Spacious apartment, no AC but comfortable with fans, had central heating for winter. Andrea the host is great. Basic appliances but usable and working. We love this place.

Should be properly described as efficient as opposed to elegant. There is no air conditioning in the property.

This location is perfect! You can’t beat the view! A short walk to the Duomo but right next to the Brera neighborhood where things are a bit less touristy. The key situation was a bit overwhelming at first but we quickly figured it out. I was concerned about the lack of AC- temps were in the high 80’s, but it was comfortable enough. I’d stay here again.

The location was ideal for exploring Milan. Andrea is a lovely host. Even though he doesn’t speak much English we managed to communicate okay. The apartment was as we expected based on pictures and description. WiFi worked great. Good layout and size for our group of 2 adults and one teen. Teen appreciated that she essentially got her own room too with a door that closes (at least when we weren’t using the table for a meal). Really I’d want to give it 4.5 stars but that isn’t an option. Reasons not 5 stars: several quirks it being an older building - electrical, for example. Just getting in to the apartment took some learning (so many keys/steps).

We could not have asked more from Andrea, the property manager. He communicated with us regularly and was there to meet us when we arrived. The apartment is in the perfect, central location, right across from the Castello Sforzesco. The only issue is the bathroom. The shower, bidet and toilet are in one small area, enclosed by a shower curtain. We worked around this odd construction and did not let it detract from our visit.

For us, THE perfect home-away, for our fortnight in Milano. Unlike Rome, Florence, or Venice, Milano is a vibrant, living city with real people involved in real lives. They are its character. At the same time, it has world-class music, art, and cuisine on offer. This flat is the perfect answer for those wanting to enjoy Milan. Close to all transportation (air, train, tram, bus, bike, and foot), the flat is the perfect HQ with an inspiring view from 2 large rooms (Castello Sforza). The electric kitchen is good for a short stay. The bathroom is adequate. In the depths of winter, the steam radiators kept the warmth of the host's greeting a wonderful temperature on return. We like walking cities, and this flat is close to all. The neighborhood is safe and we felt easy walking back from Teatro alla Scala at 11pm and after. Though the ristorantes we wanted to patronize looked a long distance on the map, they were in fact very close. The galleries, fashion houses, museums, churches, street markets, and civic architecture were also so easy to get to. Milanese are wonderful people; the host was no exception. This flat was PERFECT for us for that fortnight.

The apartment suited my needs exactly. It is within an easy walk to key attractions and only a few blocks away from train that takes one to the airport. Very convenient Andrea was most helpful with suggestions for restaurants etc.

With a view like this over Castello Sforzesco, what's not to like? This apartment is so incredibly well situated, it's impossible to find better. Steps from some of Milans most important cultural sites, 5 minutes from the busy and active Via Dante, plenty of quality restaurants, cafes, and bars....you're spoiled for choice. I really enjoyed staying here. The kitchen is well kitted out with dishes, pans, glasses, cleaners, soap and all you need, the clotheswasher has a quick wash setting which I used and liked, the building itself is full of character and interest....with high ceilings, a lovely balcony overlooking the castle and street, and Andrea, the host, was helpful and engaging. He pointed out best bets for eating, shopping, pharmacies etc nearby, and he was spot on. He recommended the sandwich kiosk across the road...and it was so good I went twice. The shower would have to be the only downside. Because the drain is in the centre of the room, after a shower the floor remains wet for a while, so a quick visit to the loo after a shower takes a bit of careful stepping, or a towel on the floor. Great place.......

Great location near castle with many activities in castle and adjoining park. Host was very helpful. Apartment is much more spacious that typical VRBO. One could comfortably live there for several months. Highly recommended.

Apartment is situated in 2 minutes from Cadorna Metro and Railway station. Easy connection to public transport. Old house of 19th century with wooden gates. Security 100 %. Castello Sforcesco face to the house. Amazing view. Apartment is luxury class. Two spacious rooms. Bedroom with a balkony looking direct to Castello. Kitchen is fully equipped. Owner, Andrea is very friendly and always helpful. I think, this apartment is the best that we can get in Milan.

The apartment was opposite The Castle and in a perfect location for exploring the City. Lovely area and clean and comfortable place to stay. Would certainly go back. Andrea was very kind and helpful and met us on arrival.
