The surrounding scenery is beautiful. The morning we were there we weren't able to see the mountains while we had a marvelous breakfast due to the coming and going fog, but we did have the chance to take pictures later when the sky was clear.
We've arrived at 10PM and Bruno welcomed us very nicely.
We were even able to enjoy the outside jacuzzi at late night since our room was next to it.
The Guest House has a rustic look and charm which makes you feel cosy and its perfect to relax.
The only downer was the fact we could hear TV noise and the people from the room next to ours. I don't believe it was because they were talking loudly, it' just a poor soundproofing.
The following note has nothing to do with the Guest House but to the region: If you are planning to go (especially at night), try to check the weather forecast for fog. We've arrived at 10PM, after driving up the mountain with intense fog, no visibility farther than 1 meter.

Os acessos exterior são mesmo naturais de uma aldeia rústica da época, mas teem muita inclinação, as senhoras teem que ter mais cuidado

Loved the deco! Everything was super clean and the host was the best, extremely friendly and helpful.
I just wish the swimming pool was a wee bit bigger and deeper. But it’s great for kids, for sure.

The stay was very pleasant. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. Also, the facilities was very comfortable and clean, the view was amazing and the breakfast was always complete. The only thing was that the bathroom water drain could be even smarter. In addition to everything, I recommend the Muas Guest House and their homemade cakes, they were amazing.

Location perfect to explore the area, Breakfast was great, staff very friendly. The bed was very comfortable and this is one point that to me, makes a difference in accommodation. There a kitchen with all the appliances necessary if you want to cook your own meal or just to warm it up. View lovely. I am hoping to return soon.

Wow. Absolutely wow. We can't even imagine the great experience we had at this place.
We arrive after several days at the Douro valley, and by far - this place was the best we chose and stayed in.
From the great hospitality of the host, to the facilities (Jacuzzi, Balcony, Breakfast and what not).
Do yourself a favour and go there, believe us.

The view is magnificient, and it was very cool to refresh in the swimming pool.
There was a problem with the hot water when we arrived, but it was promptly solved by the staff.

The peaceful spot (nothing around it, just some houses), the kindness of the hosts, the modern and traditional house (opened about a month), nice pool area, breakfast, and nice kitchen to use.
And the AWESOME view.
No AC in the room yet, the room can get very warm in the summer around 8am. Room kinda small (and the bathroom), can't move around with several luggages.
No connection from the room to the pool area (only 2 or 3 rooms accessible).
