Plenary of room for everyone to spread out, Even if someone wanted to have their own space! The downstairs was the perfect hangout for the kids; pool table, TV room, and it’s own kitchenette! Fantastic!

Loved the home and location. Called and reported the dishwasher and coffee maker was broken. Was told someone would be out to repair that afternoon. No one ever showed up.

There was so much space! We were there with 6 adult children/partners. . Everyone had the space they needed to enjoy togetherness and a quiet retreat for privacy.

Overall,the property was perfect for the number of adults. Location and space was perfect. Definitely a place to return to.

This was the perfect little family getaway to spend time together before Christmas. The house was gorgeous and we had plenty of space. The location can’t be beat. We hope to come back again!

Listing and photos were truly reflective of the property and the rental process was flawless. Location was great and the house was stocked with everything to make it as close to a home away from home as possible. Definitely had a great stay and would highly recommend this for a family with multiple generations.

We took 4 generations on a Fall getaway to the mountains (9 of us). The Elhorn Lodge was a perfect fit for us and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. Chilly weather and fall colors. The home was warm and cozy and provided instructions for everything which made things easy. We played games, pool, hung out on the back deck for lunch and sat by the fire table sipping wine at sunset. Plenty of bedrooms for everyone! Thank you for letting us stay at your property - we would love to return some day.

Our group of 5 adults and two kids (2 & 3) had a great time at Elk Horn Lodge. Everything was perfect upon arrival and we didn’t have any issues with the property during our stay. The whole family loved the large back deck and open family room. The only thing I would do differently for our next visit is to bring our own pillows - the ones at the cabin were a bit thin for our group. We will definitely be back again!

This is a fantastic house with lots of space in a great location. We were pleasantly surprised that the views were so amazing, and the location was very convenient for skiing Sugar Mountain. The homeowners have gone out of their way to provide instructions to the TVs and fireplaces. They also left a binder with many restaurant and attraction recommendations. This was so helpful! We loved our vacation experience.

It was the perfect vacation…. Highly recommend the Elkhorn lodge very very very clean. We will be staying with you again next year.

This property was a bit challenging as it had snowed the day we arrived. The driveway had not been plowed, so we parked on the street. We called the property management and were told that someone would come and plow the driveway, but no one ever did. The next door neighbor was not happy about the car parked in front of his house. Besides this, the house was lovely, the view beautiful and the proximity to Sugar Mountain was very convenient. We only had one 4 wheel drive vehicle with us, so that was on us. However, it wasn't quite as easy to get in touch with the property manager as I had hoped at times. We would still consider staying at this house in the future. It was spacious and very comfortable. The "man cave" downstairs was great-- pool table and movie room made a nice space for the kids when the adults wanted more peace and quiet upstairs. Some things that were not on hand were: a sponge or dish rag for hand washing dishes or wiping up counters, foil or plastic wrap for wrapping up leftovers, coffee and coffee filters (some Keurig pods were available for the Keurig machine though), hand lotion (though there were little packets of soap, shampoo and conditioner). There were plenty of towels, sheets, blankets and dishwasher soap and laundry pods for our stay of three days. Everything seemed to work well and the space was clean and well-maintained.

the weather was wonderful. The house is perfect for our family. This is my sister and I Christmas shopping. We had our children and grandchildren there. Thank you so much for our wonderful experience. Small side note. The microwave did not work. Everything else was exceptional

It rained like crazy the entire 3 days and nights we were there (mid October), so we hunkered down in this cozy home and had an absolute blast. Highly recommend this place as well as Stonewall's Restaurant for dinner in Banner Elk (15 minutes away).

Had a great time. The property worked extremely well for us. It was nice and clean and very functional. Love the downstairs kitchen for coffee in the morning. Already thinking about renting next summer.

I rented this for a bachelorette weekend and it was so perfect! It was specious yet had that comfy home feel. Would 100% return!

We stayed for 4 days and had so much fun! The cabin was spacious, clean and with beautiful view from the main living room.
