Las instalaciones con completamente nuevas. Hay una barbacoa de gas y utensilios para utilizarla sin casi ensuciar. Se agradece que haya unos mínimos de uso cotidiano como azúcar o sal. El solarium es una maravilla y la verdad que la piscina es estupenda. Al haber pocos apartamentos, hay mucha intimidad. A atención de las personas a cargo es EXQUISITA.

Quizás debería, por el precio, limpiarse alguna vez más que una vez a la semana, así como cambiar las toallas. También se agradecería no tener que comprar un litro de aceite para poder cocinar algo.

I have stayed here now more times than I can remember. In fact I have a booking to stay again in Nov for Winter Pride. However, I shall be canceling that booking and staying elsewhere - as you will read the VelSuites just simply is NOT what it once was. The stand-out 'good thing' is the welcome from Marius. He is charming, friendly and always on time. He was politer and helpful in explaining that one bathroom was out of order (the tap was broken in Velsuite i) and awaiting repair. That didn't matter as I was this time travelling alone and would therefor only use the other bathroom. It is always nice to be remembered as a guest who has stayed before - and Marius certainly represents the owners well with his greeting and check in skills.

I have moaned before about the hit-&-miss cleaning. Since writing previous reviews I am afraid that the cleaning is simply NOT up to the standard I would expect nor that I am personally comfortable with. I have mentioned before the stains on the bedding and towels - this is still an issue. However more than that, try wearing white socks for a coupe of hours and you will see how filthy the floors are in the apartment. The shower enclosure is also grimey and whilst you can see that a cleaner has 'wiped surface over with a cloth', I would suggest that the cloth is not clean enough. The apartments have little or no privacy (except no. IV). On this occasion, having stayed before, I brought with me a cheap IKEA blind to put up to offer me more privacy. I was/am VERY concerned to see that all THREE smoke detectors on the ceiling in the apartment have been completely removed. This is not acceptable. My safety is important to me and is, other than the lack of cleanliness, the main reason I have cancelled my Nov reservation to stay again. It is disappointing to say the least.

This was a second visit. The apartments are in a pleasant setting. We like the location - walking distance to the promenade, beach and up to Yumbo. Recommend that you consider getting hire car to see more of the island (Cigar were super helpful)

It's not all that private, so when you have a rowdy family in the next apartment the situation isn't ideal. The main complaint however it concerning the lack of cleanliness. The towels were disgraceful - such that we took a taxi and bought our own towels. Two weeks with one quick 'clean' half way through is not the standards or attention to cleanliness we would expect and in all likelihood will mean we won't visit a third time. There is also a most unsatisfactory 'check in'... the chap was disinterested in showing us around or explaining everything as he knew we had stayed before and apparently 'its all the same as before'. Except it wasn't. The glass door in the bedroom had been cracked (by a previous guest). The threat that they will not refund your 400 Euros taken for accidents is stressful. We didn't notice the glass door was broken until the first morning when we raised the blind and saw that the large crack had bene caused by the sunbed having been pushed back against the glass. It took days before the managing agent replied to texts/emails (and I mentioned dit to the cleaner). Really poor show.
