This was the perfect spot to be close enough to Denver to easily go see friends and also close enough to the ski resorts that much of the traffic was avoided on ski days. Getting in was easy. There was a nice size garage to pull into to unload out of the weather. The place was clean and the kitchen was stocked with the essentials and even some pantry items. Some commented on the noise from the highway, but since it was winter and the windows were closed, I did not have any issues sleeping. There is a good brewery with food within walking distance, which was also a plus after a long day of skiing.

The apartment was beautiful with everything we wanted. The restaurants in the town of Georgetown, however kept running out of food. We had to go to Idaho Springs for our meals.

I rarely write reviews, but have to let you know about this condo. The front faces Interstate 70. The bedrooms and Living room all face the highway. With no air conditioning, and windows cracked, expect a noisy night of truck traffic. The back of the condo , with no windows, faces the small lake . if the building design was reversed, you would have a beautiful view of the lake. The only window on the scenic side of the building was in the back door, and had been broken and covered with plywood. The living room furniture was too small and uncomfortable. ( We are not large people, 2 females weighing 130 lbs each, and 1 male 190 lbs. There was no WIFI, hence no TV to stream. Also, no dining table , just a counter bar with stools. We paid 502$for 3 nights at another condo in town, ( on the creek, older, but nice) and 420$ for one noisy night at this place.

The back view of the lake is gorgeous. Unfortunately the front view is noisy with highway noise. Had to shut the windows in July

We had a very restful place to stay during a personally stressful time. The first night the road noise from I 70 affected our sleep but after the first night we did not notice it. It was beautiful right by the lake! Highly recommend.

We had a great stay! the condo is >20 minutes to Loveland Ski area, a short drive into historic Georgetown and Cabin Creek Brewery (Good food and craft beer) is about a block away. We ate most of our meals at the condo and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our food. Bed super comfy. Highly recommend for a couples get-a-way, or a small family vaca. We would definetely book here again
