The perfect place to start new holiday traditions and create new memories for us! Loved the location. Quiet and peaceful yet close to distilleries, Berheim forest giants and Bardstown. EVERYTHING you could possibly need in a unique and beautiful setting. Communication was awesome as well!

My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon here and loved spending time and getting away from the city here. It was really close to several distilleries, we visited Four Roses and Jim Beam. Also took a trip to see the Bernheim forest giants. My favorite parts of the stay were the shower and the fireplace. We'd love to come back some day

Ol' married couple ran away for the holiday. The interior is something else. We really like all the angles. It's not like anything we have ever experienced. It's very relaxing. You're in the woods, but not really. The porch/deck faces the woods, but you can still hear the road traffic at times (not an issue). House is fully stocked (minus food). Would definitely suggest others give it a try.

We loved the property. It was very peaceful & quiet, I enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the deck and being surrounded by woods a perfect evening after spending the day chasing bourbon!

This house was fantastic! The uniqueness is unmatched! I booked very last minute for a quick overnight stay, mainly to visit Bernheim Forest & it was absolutely perfect. Easy check in, the cabin was stocked with everything you could need. The back deck was perfect for relaxing in the evening & there’s even a small creek behind the house! I’ve already recommended this rental to many friends and I would definitely book here again!

If you are traveling in this area you HAVE to check out this property! We attended our sons Advanced officer training @ Fort Knox Graduation. This was so tranquil and the local restaurants were fantastic!

Convenient property to visit and tour Bourbon Trail. Also convenient to Louisville and visit Churchill Downs and Louisville Slugger Museum. Beautiful area and property.

We enjoyed the location to the plethora of distilleries. Removed from the bustle of town, but quick drive to everything we wanted to see. Unique home that's memorable.

This is the second time we stayed here. We love the place very clean, we love the porch and fire place. Close to the arboretum and Bardstown. We will stay here again next time we are in the area.

My girlfriend and I loved staying at this cabin! We took a spur of the moment spring break trip to Kentucky and loved this unique property. Great porch, with an interesting interior, and secluded feel. Highly recommend this property!

We really enjoyed the location of this house - and it is beautiful on a beautiful piece of property. We had a little trouble lighting the fireplace and eventually figured it out, but didn't find the communication with the owner particularly helpful. (It got sorted and it is a lovely fireplace.) Bed and sofa were comfy, kitchen was pleasantly equipped. Shower was great! Outdoor seating was lovely.

The property was perfectly located for our itinerary. Accommodations were clean, welcoming, unique and the exterior was serene and comfortable. It’s the perfect location for exploring the Bourbon Distilleries. The pizza place down the street is great! Only recommendations would be a lamp in the living room and a shade for the kitchen window as the camera on the garage points directly at the kitchen window. Would definitely stay again if we ever return to the area 😃.

We spent most of our time on the bourbon trail so we didn’t need anything besides a place to sleep but after seeing how beautiful the property is and how great the amenities are, I will need to come back and enjoy it fully. Absolutely lovely.

Great relaxing getaway with plenty to see & do. We came to hike Bernheim Forest and found so much more while taking in the sights & flavors of the area. Can't say enough about this peaceful cabin & the owners. All the amenities surpassed all expectations and Daniel & Sarah were the perfect hosts. We will visit again!
