Wonderful place for my wife and I visiting our son at Washington College

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. I wish we weren’t so busy and just running in and out, as the property is beautiful. I wish we had more time to enjoy it. Thank you for another lovely stay.

Just what we needed...

A cute studio that had everything, plus walking distance to historic and shopping areas. I would stay there again!

Very cozy upstairs studio just off High Street. Well appointed and stocked. I highly recommend it.

Close to town, easy to get to, clean and tastefully appointed suite, awesome hosts. It truly does not get any better than this!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The grounds were so lovely-park like, natural, and so beautiful! The carriage house was cozy, yet so efficient and the hosts went out of their way to provide EVERYTHING we could possibly need or hope to have! There were so many special touches ( even fresh flowers from the garden and a welcome beverage) that were unexpected but so appreciated. We are already planning to visit next year- and to stay longer since one night was not enough for us to explore Chestertown. Location was incredible- in the historic district which was great for walking and exploring. The location was so quiet and secluded . Our sometimes anxious pup slept soundly in his bed after exploring all afternoon and declaring Chestertown the most pet friendly place ever! We tended to agree with him and also slept soundly on the very comfortable bed! Thanks so much to the hosts - best stay for us- ever!

Loved this little gem in town! We only stayed one night but it has everything you need. Very spacious / bed was comfy / walk into town or to the college. We’ll stay here again for sure !

Just one night in this spacious, warm and charming carriage house studio was not enough. Great location convenient to shops and restaurants, as well as Washington College. Well appointed with everything you could need to cook, if you wanted to. Would definitely stay again!

Very communicative and helpful host. The property was delightful. The town is quiet so pay attention to when services and restaurants are open and closed. I’d stay here again.

Great place for an overnight stay in Chestertown. It was quiet but downtown. We were in town for a class at the Eastern Shore Food Lab. It's a just a short pleasant walk.

We spent 4 nights here. It is everything it’s advertised to be and more. Fully equipped kitchen, sparkling clean linens, in fact sparkling clean unit. The garden area, even in February was a beautiful area to just sit and soak up the peace. Owner is responsive, friendly, kind. We easily walked the two blocks to High St to shop and eat. Be there on Saturdays for the Winter Farmers Market! Short walk down to the river. The fireplace in the unit heats up fast as does the thermostat controlled heating. Internet and cell service was never an issue. If you do have any ambulatory problems, it’s a long steep staircase from the entry up to the unit itself. Not a problem for us (67 yrs old). We’d most happily book this again!

Most beautiful and quaint carriage house. My stay was in December and it was beautifully decorated for the season. Upon arrival the fireplace was so warm and inviting. Fully stocked with beautiful china, all cookware, towels, etc.. And the most comfortable bed imaginable. I will definitely be returning. Also friends that visited were interested in booking for future guest. More than 5 stars.

Ideal accommodation to experience the charm of Chestertown. Very private and quiet. Cell (data) service in the town is very poor. We enjoyed our stay.

Everything we needed and more! Loved this carriage house and a perfect spot to walk to the farmer’s market on the morning.

The carriage house was the perfect place for my husband and me to spend the night while visiting our son at Washington College. The bed was super comfortable and the antique furnishings were beautiful. I loved relaxing next to the fireplace. The hosts provided cozy blankets and lots of homey touches.

Walk through a secluded garden up into a bright, cozy space with everything you need.

Clean and comfy

While we only stayed for a short while, the accomodations were wonderful. Very clean, comfortable bedding and many amenities that showed how much the owners care about making all guests enjoy their stay. Only drawback was the telephone booth size shower. Water pressure was good though!

We enjoyed our stay at the carriage house. Was a perfect location to walk to town, was super clean and very nicely decorated. The hosts were very nice and made us feel welcomed. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

We had a great time at the Carriage House! The room was spotless, and it had everything we needed for a fun getaway. The quaintness of Chestertown and the Carriage House will likely bring my wife and me back many times!

This well appointed studio is perfect for a short or longer term stay. “White glove” clean, and ready for us. The garden is just beautiful. Bob and Beth provide every amenity just as described, and left helpful instructions for the fireplace, how to enjoy the outdoor area, and so many other thoughtful details. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the furniture inviting. I especially liked the little table and chairs, which was so convenient for computer work I needed to do. Can’t say enough good things about this studio apartment!
