When we booked we wanted an off the beaten path location and North Captiva fit the bill. Sea La Vie was perfect, space wise, amenities, and our own beach!!! Thanks to our hosts and management staff.

Such a beautiful home! Interior is beautifully decorated and everything you need was provided. Lots of beach towels and beach chairs. Tons of beach toys for children and adults. No need to bring those items. Leslie was extremely helpful in providing all the pre planning information for ground transportation (I highly recommend John and Yvonne), grocery shopping (Debbie was fantastic), Seafood market and liquor store. Leslie was alway available to help me before and during my stay. She took out the anxiety of staying on a private island. The golf carts and kayaks were a big hit. The best family vacation we’ve ever had! So relaxing and laid back. There’s a lot to do if you want or not. It was great to have our own private beach. The water was so warm and sunrises were fantastic! We can’t wait to come back!

This was our 3rd time staying on NCI and the first time at this property. This by far was the best vacation rental we've stayed at so far. The rental was clean, well kept, well stocked and very well organized. Thorough guidelines were provided. Communication was very helpful and delivered timely. The owners were great to work with and we truly appreciated everything! The house itself is beautiful and so are the views. Being on the bay/sound side was better than the golf side due to the beautiful sunrises, large private beach, and frequent dolphin and manatee sightings. We used the two kayaks to get closer to the sea life, and we were rewarded with dolphins jumping near to us. We are pretty familiar with the island since we've been twice before. This is definitely a serene place to go to get away from everything and unwind. We love that there are no cars - it's fun getting around on golf carts. Barnacles/Mainstays offers good casual dining. Sunsets are nice at the sandbar. And as an added bonus, the shells by the preserve are beautiful in the morning during low tide! If you go, bring lots of sunscreen for the day and insect repellent for mornings and evenings, specifically repellent for "no-see-ums". Water shoes are very helpful to protect your feet from all the shells. In fact, make sure to plan and pack well, because it's harder or more expensive to get things you need once you are on the island. The owner will give you these tips too, but these important ones are worth repeating! Anyway, our stay was absolutely perfect and we would definitely go back if the opportunity arises!

Love the option to have our groceries delivered and placed in the home for when we got there. Having the golf carts was very convenient. Overall it was a trip of a lifetime and a vacation none of us will ever forget.

There are also dolphins and starfish right off your front door. There are kayaks at the house as well as ping pong, bags and games. The house is clean and well stocked. We had a fabulous experience with the various details leading up to arrival, the home itself and location. One can swim in the ocean from this home. The daily dolphin drive-by was exhilarating. The sunsets, sunrises from our beach, the manatees, island club resort facilities, a nature reserve, canopies of vegetation, no cars, - just golf carts, restaurants, kayaks, provide an idyllic getaway for all ages. The rental was set up as a well stocked home with beautiful decor. We all would come back again!!

Sea La Vie has to be one of the best rental homes on the island —the home is gorgeous and set up perfectly for a family stay; it’s directly on the beach with a gorgeous view from the decks and of sunrise on the beach; golf carts and club access the the pools. Leslie was SO proactive, communicating thoroughly in advance to help us understand lab our trip and checking in to ensure we had all we needed. She was extremely kind and caring—she genuinely wanted us to have the best experience and did all she could to ensure we did. And the property managers were responsive whoever we needed something. The island itself is like a large luxury yet casual campground. It was so easy to unplug and just enjoy island life. Our family went shelling on the west beach every morning; enjoyed pool time w the kids and played on our private beach daily. We were blessed with PERFECT weather in the high 70s/low 80s each day. And we took advantage of some really unique experiences like private massages on the balcony overlooking the ocean and a private chef to make a delicious family dinner with fresh locally caught fish. We highly recommend staying at this home if you are considering Sea La Vie!!!

This beautiful home with a private beach is about as good as it gets! For our family, that includes a toddler and an infant, it was perfectly equipped. That said, we would absolutely come back as a couple or a group of adults to enjoy a relaxing stay. I have never rented from a more responsive owner who went above and beyond to help us navigate some travel challenges we encountered. From the gormey kitchen to the beach toys for children and adults alike, they have thought of everything! We will be back!

She made us feel right at home and provided us with pretty much everything we would need! The views, the wildlife, the shells…all of it was spectacular! We hope to visit again soon!

My family and I had a wonderful vacation at Sea La Vie. The home is perfectly positioned beachfront with almost complete privacy. The water is full of sea life and beautiful shells. The logistics of an island vacation where a quick trip to a grocery store is impossible were made easy by the owners recommendations. Grocery delivery by Debbie was extremely helpful. The two golf carts provided also gave us the ability to explore the island and even pick up a paddle board for the week from Boats n fun. Five stars for Sea La Vie!
