Great chalet and great location, had everything we needed for a lovely getaway

Lovely little chalet. Just what you need.

The location was fine it was easy access the grounds we're clean and very well cared for

Our chalet needed some TLC

Park was very nice, location good. Nice bedding.

Chalet in poor condition, bathroom smelt mouldy, we wouldn't even use the shower, bed very uncomfortable and whoever sleeps near the wall has to climb over the other person to get out, sofa hard to sit on as when you tried to lean back the base kept sliding forward as it was a sofa bed. Small table top cooker but couldn't find any trays to cook with so didn't use it. Definitely in need of refurbishment.

We brought our own breakfast: it was self-catering. It was very useful having the fish and chip shop on site, which had quite a varied menu: very labour-saving for a holiday!

A few more cooking utensils would have been appreciated: e.g. wooden spoon(s), spatula, scissors, a small sharp knife, and a few more teaspoons in the cutlery drawer. The smoke alarm was very sensitive: it went off quite often when only doing toast on a low setting, but better that than not working! We only needed to open the door and it went off after a few seconds or a minute. I was a bit concerned about putting hot plates on the wooden table as there were no large mats; so if the plates were very hot (straight out of the microwave) I put them on a folded newspaper. One side of the big bed has no bedside table, which is a bit difficult if you have glasses and water etc, but the lack of space couldn't be helped: the main thing was the bed was very comfortable, and there was hanging space for clothes. Re collecting the key: we found it tricky to open the key box/safe, and had to ask for help from the lady next door, which set the big fierce-looking dog off barking.....! But it was all right. These were all small difficulties; overall it was a delightful chalet, thank you!

There wasn't anything i didn't like the

the property was quite clean although when taking the bed settee cushions off to get something I dropped there was cigarette butts under it.

the cooking facilities were appalling - the oven/hob thing was rubbish - I had sausages in there for 45 minutes on high and they didn’t even cook through. I tried to do bacon on the hob and it steamed the bacon not even went crispy. the second bedroom has bunk beds and a single bed, I get it’s good for people with a big family but there was literally no where to put our stuff.

the property was very clean when we arrived. very easy to find and the location is beautiful.

we didn’t really have any problems. just the bedrooms are quite small but we managed fine.

Location

The owners left my three little boys a gift which I thought was a lovely and kind gesture.

This isn't a complaint, I just think the chalet could do with a bigger TV. Other than that we loved our stay.
