We loved being right on the beach! The house had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

The deck and proximity to the beach is fantastic. The host, Amber, was great at communicating and was able to quickly resolve any questions we had. The house is older but is well maintained. Our group consisted of 6 adults and 5 kids and there was adequate room for all of us.

This house is great for families! It has everything!! Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, boogie boards, even had a skim board my grandson liked so well he bought his own while we were there. The kitchen is furnished with EVERYTHING! Im used to a little more living space indoor, but the porch made up for that. There is always shade in some parts or sun if you want it. It was great to sit out there. One bedroom was on the bottom with a full-size bed and a set of bunk beds which worked perfect for my son and his boys. This house worked very well for our family and kids. I like the location because the beach (at least when we were there, first week in Aug) wasn’t terribly crowded

This property is exactly what I want in a beach rental. The hugh deck is amazing. It has comfy seating in and out of the sun. Great beach that doesn’t get as crowded as other areas. The hostess Amber was always available for any questions that came up. Super nice to work with. The teenagers enjoyed the downstairs lodging. Although we brought umbrellas and chairs, the downstairs was stocked with all that and lots of beach toys. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing large meals. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our first all family vacation at this property!!!! It was so great having the beach access right out our back door. The home was well maintained and the owner was so easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again if we get back to Ocen Isle.

Location location location. House is nice but the location is the true gem here. Porch is great! Room for many. Owner was super helpful. Enjoy!!!

Location is quiet towards the end of the island but perfect for our small family. View of the ocean from our back patio was definitely the best part and makes it worth staying. Had 3 families staying upstairs which was perfect. You can definitely fit more but I think any more will be overcrowded. Down stairs had another room and laundry and bathroom but the kids all thought it was creepy and probably wouldn't recommend staying down there. Also our host was great and prompt with all our questions.

We went in late March as spring is just getting warm. The deck is set just enough back on the property that the neighboring buildings mask the wind from the beach, keeping the chill from the wind while still giving a pleasant breeze and on beach experience. We spent almost all our time on the well lit deck watching and listening to the ocean. Beautiful property.

This house was comfortable and cozy, with everything in the listing and a great deck overlooking the ocean. We had a couple minor cleanliness issues, but had great response from the owner. We love to stay on the NC beaches, and would definitely stay here again.

We had a GREAT time. Loved the Knats Rant so much. The front deck is amazing. We spent a lot of time out on the deck overlooking the ocean. The house was neat, clean, and equipped with Everything we would ever need. We will definitely be back again. Can’t wait!!!!

My family and I booked a last minute long weekend getaway for my birthday. We lucked up when we found this place. Being right on the beach was amazing, the views were incredible! The best part was not having to bring all the stuff! Having the beach towels, chairs and boogie boards already there when you are traveling with 3 kids is amazing! Amber was very responsive and always answered any of my questions quickly. We can’t wait to go back!

My family had a very nice stay. Really enjoyed the super close walk to the beach and large deck. Downstairs was helpful for grandma who couldn't climb stairs.

Great kitchen, air conditioning was wonderful, very large deck with comfortable furniture. 30 yards to beach. Perfect home for our 6 adults and 3 kids. Would recommend this home.

We had a very nice stay at Ocean Isle. We loved being on the beach, and the deck was wonderful. We also appreciated the amenities included in the house, such as full bottles of dish soap, laundry detergent, towels, and the like. The kitchen also had a great coffee maker and coffee grinder, as well as everything you need to cook, which we appreciated. Amber, the manager, was also very responsive and friendly. Overall it was a lovely stay. Unfortunately the house itself is quite old and needs a lot of work, and some of the descriptions of the set up were unclear. The bathrooms are very old and were quite mildewy when we arrived. There were cleaning supplies available, though, so we scrubbed toilets and even kitchen cabinets (also mildewy) ourselves. The downstairs has a separate entrance with a bedroom and bunk beds in the laundry room; before going our kids were excited to stay in the bunk beds, but we realized it wasn't safe to leave them there without an adult, since it is under another lock. And the room was extremely musty. It seems there has been a lot of water damage to the property due to a bad roof (which leaked on us while we were sleeping in bed on the second to last night we were there). I have no doubt the owner is working hard to fix these issues (plus others we encountered during our stay)-- she called a roofer the same day we told her about the leak, for example. But it is a bit disconcerting when pest control shows up to tell you they are spraying for black widows in the outdoor shower you've been using all week, and it was inconvenient to have so many repairmen in the home (a plumber who fixed a broken shower, as well as the aforementioned roofer and pest control). It would be one thing if the price were a bit lower, but given the rather exorbitant cost in relation to other properties in the area, some visitors may have expected a bit more than the house has to offer.

Amber was great to deal with, very responsive. Property is just steps to the beach! Felt very safe and not crowded by neighboring homes so great location. Plenty of shops on the island and eateries as well. Only suggestion is to update beach chairs and surf boards/toys.

There was plenty of seating for all 8 of us and the view was spectacular! The beach in front of the house was practically a private beach as no one ever set up in front of our umbrellas. We had no trouble parking our four vehicles in the driveway and we could have easily put another car there. Amber is a great host and she responds to texts very quickly. We definitely plan to stay again next year!

Everything went smoothly, weather was nice except for a couple of windy days. Beach access is wonderful. Owner was very friendly and helpful.

Overall it was a wonderful experience staying at this home. The location is perfect, just far enough away from the crowd for privacy, but less than ten minutes away from any amenities. The deck facing the beach is even better than it looked online, and was much loved throughout the trip. Despite a couple of issues with some maintenance related items, the owner is incredibly responsive and helpful with any request. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone visiting Ocean Isle Beach.
