We had a great stay at Lobster Lookout! The direct access to the beach and view were truly stunning. The beds were also very comfortable. We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with supplies and well labeled. It would have been nice to have more supplies available in the bathrooms, such as shampoo/conditioner/body wash (you have to completely bring your own currently). Additionally, we weren't aware of the check-out list ahead of time and found it extensive and a bit excessive for guests, particularly since we had to leave so early in the morning. It felt like guests were responsible for keeping the home clean and that it could have been more deep cleaned by hired cleaners. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, particularly having such a relaxing beach stay but still being within less than 10 minutes of Provincetown.

Lovely, very clean, great view

The unit is nice and has everything you need for your vacation.. Communication with Nancy was excellent and she promptly got back to us when we had problems with the air conditioner and helped us fix it. All in all we had a nice week. However, the first picture with the orange kayak facing the ocean is outdated and inaccurate. The rest of the pictures show some fencing but do not clearly show that there is a higher fence over the original low fence directly in front of the unit. You cannot access the beach directly in front of the unit. There is a fence running across the beach front of all the condos with one beach access point in the middle. This needs to be made clear in the listing. Folks in other condo units were told that they had to walk around the outside of the building (parking lot side) and through the central corridor to access the beach. In reality this makes no sense and no one followed this rule. We were not told of this rule by Nancy. We were in unit two. In units one and three there was a big family reunion and so there was a lot of foot traffic on the sand in front of our condo and a lot of large social gatherings outside of unit 3. We walked through their party to get to the beach which was a little awkward at first. We got to know them and our kids had a nice time playing together. . There should be clear rules and expectations about beach access and also noise and quiet hours posted around the community and in the binder of the unit. We did not mention any of this Nancy because by the time we had connected with her we had resolved any issues and made the most of the situation. We have rented many other places and the checkout requirements seemed excessive but we did our best. We were asked to wash, dry and fold every towel we used and also to wash and put away every dish. Despite some challenges we still had a nice stay.

This location was perfect for us. We were close to Provincetown, Truro and Wellfleet but we spent most of our time on the beach out front because it was so beautiful. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

Walking into this condo we instantly saw such a picture perfect view of the beach. Even upstairs from each bedroom the view was amazing. To be able to sit and have coffee and step right out onto the sand. We played board/card games at night listening to the waves! The condo was beautifully decorated, spotless, the owner was friendly and easy to contact. The condo had everything we needed bed sheets, pillows, fans in each room, towels, all the kitchen items you need. We will be back for sure! Thanks for a great weekend and wonderful memories!

I’ll be back again and again! The property was clean, quiet, had everything we needed, and you can’t beat the location! The only thing I’d change would be blackout curtains in the bedroom, but otherwise we love the brightness of the place, and we loved being able to hear the ocean while relaxing! This property is right on the beach, as advertised. It's really quite amazing to have the water right outside your door. The views are stunning. You can walk on the beach for MILES just by turning right or left outside the living room sliding glass doors! I very much appreciated that the property owner promptly responded to -- and was able to grant -- our request for an early check-in given our travel plans. We were at the property when a nor'easter hit. While the property owner certainly can't control the weather, we were disappointed that despite the fact that the property lost both electric and cell service for more than 24 hours, requiring that we leave, the property owner would not consider any form of refund. We were aware the rental agreement says that refunds will not be provided. Seems there's a difference between a traveler needing to cancel, however, and the property being without power/heat/refrigeration/etc. Regardless, we had purchased insurance and suggest other renters do the same.

This is our second stay at Lobster Lookout and, again, it didn’t disappoint!

We were thrilled with location - on beach, yet also so close to Provincetown and other amazing beaches. House is bright, spacious and has great layout… very beachy. Off season for us was a perfect time for a nice quiet visit.

This was our second time renting this condo. It’s just pure bliss. We love the location and space - its more than enough room for 4 adults and a wild toddler. The kitchen is well equipped and the property manager was always very responsive to my messages. We hope to be back again next year!

It was a lovely stay. The house was centrally located to the fun and quiet. The best of both worlds. Parking was easy. The check in process was pleasant too. Nancy was a super hostess from the start. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice quiet place to stay and spend time with the family. Relax. Unwind. Enjoy.

We could enjoy beach right out the door or go down to waterfront in less than a minute! Water was mostly calm good for family.Thank you much for beach toys in bench on deck. We are there on August and absolutely loved our time at this property. Can’t wait to go back again next year.

We truly enjoyed our stay in Truro at this beautiful location. We enjoyed waking up and drinking coffee with ocean front views. The house was clean and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in. My daughters loved using the bunk bed. We would love to come and stay again :)

We love staying on shore rd in truro and this property is great. Can't beat right on the beach. Great for families with kids. Despite being a middle unit could not hear any noise from neighboring units. Will consider for our weekly cape vacation in 2022

We had a great vacation and the property was perfect for our needs! Nancy was extremely helpful and available for any questions.

This is truly a gem! The townhome is right on the beach, a hop, skip and jump away from Provincetown. From the moment you step into the home, you can see the beach and the blue waters from almost every corner on both levels. In the backyard, you will step out from the deck right onto the sand. Large glass slider doors and windows look out onto the waters and the beach on both the lower and the upper levels. The upper level has a large balcony right off of the two bedrooms with seating that is great for looking out onto the beach and the water as well as Provincetown at a distance. The insides are very tastefully decorated with a neutral nautical theme with beautiful artwork. The lower level has a full kitchen with updated appliances, a dinning area that can seat six with additional barstools and a living room with a fireplace and TV. We stayed for 7 nights and cooked breakfasts and dinners in the kitchen multiple times without any problems. There were enough pots and pans, plates, bowls, dinnerware and silverware for us to use. All appliances worked well. The beach is a private beach and was quite empty during the time we were there. We did meet a few neighbors on our beach walks including the president of the association of the townhome we rented. Everyone was super friendly and nice. Finally and most importantly the communication was Nancy was excellent! She responded very quickly and very patiently answered all of my questions. During our stay, my husband needed to work and needed the internet and Nancy made sure that everything was in working order prior to our arrival. The internet worked great the entire time we were there. There were a couple of times when we both had to be in work related video meetings at the same time and it all went well without a hitch. We had the most excellent stay at Nancy’s home. We loved the property and highly recommend it. We will certainly be back in warmer weather.

My partner and I stayed for the weekend to celebrate my birthday as a little getaway. The condo unit was nicer than the photos portrayed, the beach and ocean views were great with beautiful sunsets during the fall months. Everything was clean and very organized and the location was great, about a mile from the Ptown line. Overall great stay and highly recommended, would love to return in the warmer months.
