It was the perfect house for our 3 generations of family. Close to everything we wanted. Beach , shopping and fishing Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home

House was even nicer than advertised. Lots of bright natural light coming into the house with beautiful sunset views over the sound off the back porches. Porch furniture was very comfortable with a nice table & chairs on the lower deck and two tall Adirondack chairs on the upper deck. We didn't experience any bugs during our time on the deck in July. Kitchen was well stocked for our needs and k-cup coffee maker worked great. We had takeout a few nights and bought a Topsail Steamer bucket one night and was able to cook/eat without any issues. House was very clean with zero trace of dogs visiting with other guests. Gravel driveway was large and easily fit our 3 vehicles (& would have fit more if needed). Neighborhood was a nice getaway where you couldn't hear any of the main road traffic...yet it was still just a 5 minute walk to the beach (directly opposite the neighborhood entrance). Owner was responsive to our questions during both the booking process and leading up to and through our vacation week.

This was our first trip to Surf City and we will definitely return. We loved staying at Dockside Dreamin! The house was very clean and nicely updated. The location was great. It is in a quiet neighborhood that has a wooded path leading to the beach. The intercoastsl views off the two decks of the house were incredible. Great for enjoying our morning coffee and cocktails at sunset!

We were a group of 5 adults and 2 dogs, and this house far exceeded our needs and expectations. The pictures perfectly depict what you get! Everything was great, from the small fenced in area (so convenient for the pups), kitchenware, incredible views, location, etc. Communication with Bridget was easy and prompt. We had an issue using the oven/stove so unfortunately, we weren't able to use it the way we wanted to - but Bridget did her best to try to resolve the issue and was sincerely apologetic. Main floor showers didn't drain well, but I'm sure they will fix that for the next guests. All in all, this was absolutely a 5* getaway and a wonderful way to ring in my 40th birthday with my husband, sisters, friend and furbabes. Hoping to make it back soon - thank you so much for having us!

Beautiful warm and inviting place. The place was very clean. I loved all the special pieces of furniture placed throughout. I would definitely rent this place again.

We had an absolutely wonderful time on our vacation. The house was just perfect for us. Easy to the beach, gorgeous sound views and the perfect layout for relaxing family time. Will definitely be coming back!!!

Scott & Bridget are fantastic hosts! This house is in a quiet, tree-filled neighborhood on Topsail Island with a gorgeous view of the Intercoastal Waterway and a short walk to the beach. It was very clean and well-equipped, and truly felt like a home away from home. Scott & Bridget were friendly and easy to communicate with before and during our stay. We very much look forward to returning! This was our first time using VRBO and they certainly have set the bar high!

We spent a week around Memorial Day with my in-laws, my 14 year-old and 2 of his friends. The place is very spacious and we made great use of the 2 living rooms. Downstairs was the adult oasis while upstairs was used as the gaming space. There was plenty of kitchen utensils and the place was very clean and furniture comfy. We also really liked the enclosed grassy area for our pup. The views over the sound were glorious and the walk the beach was easy. We also loved how convenient this place was to downtown Surf City for groceries, restaurants, and shops. We'd stay here again.
