Location
My room wasn’t as clean as it normally is.
The air con in all the rooms does not go below 19, making the room really hot and musty i cough all night.

Good selection of food at Breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is good for walking into the centre of Hanley. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.
The car park could be more secure, not that I had any issues. Not sure why you can't park at the rear of the hotel in what looks like the hotel car park. The tiling in the bathroom / wet room that I stayed in (Room 408) meant that the water did not drain properly and the toilet was then left on a small dry "island". I built a towel dam the following morning to avoid a repeat.

Very clean, modern, comfy bed, nice space, central to Stoke and surrounding area, near to station.
Break fast was good.
Gym was nice and clean
The shower in our room flooded the room and there was nothing use to push the water down the plug hole. So the water stayed in the area near the toilet we were in room 408.
Items to buy in reception were expensive .

great location ate brunch out, had i been travelling alone for work I would have enjoyed the facilities more and appreciated the relaxing ambience of the lobby/coffee area.
It felt very quiet so as with a friend went out for more ambience. The view from my room.

Breakfast was not great. Coffee was shocking so weak not drinkable expected higher standards from the Hilton. I liked the room and was clean!

The building itself was beautiful, really lovely rooms and the food was nice!
Other guests were very noisy for a prolonged period of time however this isn’t the staffs fault, the main issue we had was the lack of parking. Parking was £9 across the road which we thought was quite poor value.

Absolutely perfect hotel and room - it is a new hotel and all of the decor, features and amenities are what you would hope to find in a new hotel. Fantastic location for the city centre and absolutely nothing to fault! I would 100% choose to stay here again.

Clean, large comfortable rooms.
The rooms were hot, the air con couldn’t get the room cool enough.

Room was clean and spacious.
Was double charged at checkout but Katy was able to sort everything out a few days later. There was a broken lamp in room as well, which was reported to reception.

We asked for Airton for the room to be switched on and we were told a fan would be brought to our room it was not brung to the room, we had 2 nights uncomfortable stay, staff should of been on the ball and do what they said they would do, also checking out the staff member did not ask how our stay was, disappointing to me.

Decent hotel
The pillows were horrible to sleep with 😂

The room was clean and the breakfast was great.
Utter dive of a location. Rough. Bullet hole in the multistory car park. Run down location. Chavs staying in the hotel doing coke in the toilets wasn't inviting.
Pillows are like bags of air. Hot room zero ventilation.

The staff went out of their way to make sure that everything was OK. There were a couple of issues that were resolved to our satisfaction.

Nice facilities and comfortable bed, I couldn't hear any other guests which was nice, and the room had great lighting and a mini fridge which was nice, the WiFi worked well and was perfect for a little night away

Having read the reviews I channeled that moment where I finally mastered orienteering in The Scouts, for the confidence to pull me through the harrowing quest for the car park. I took a compass - Kendall mint cake - a shovel - flares - camping stove - I was prepared.
Then I put the very clearly indicated carpark post code into my sat nav, and when it said “you’ve arrived”, there was a sign saying “Hilton Patron’s car park”. So I turned in there. And parked.
So with that adventure over I put on my crampons and navigated the 15 meter labyrinth to the hotel itself with my huskies and sled. Then I was met with completely reasonable temperatures and had to use the ample facilities in my room to hang up all the layers I’d brought in preparation for the temperatures I’d read about.
Vexed at how nice everything was, I went downstairs for a drink and some food. To my frustration the drinks and food prices were probably 15% lower than you’d expect of a hotel in its location. That preparatory mortgage I took out after reading the reviews turned out to be silly and dramatic.
So I’d had enough. I stormed out (well, strolled) for 7 minutes to the Regent Theatre to watch the show I’d come for. And waited eagerly for something to complain about before the day was out. My only satisfaction came when the tall person in front of me got individually wrapped sweets out of their pocket during the show.
So I complained the the hotel manager upon return. And bought a red wine which was delicious and reasonably priced.
Next time I’m staying in a Karenvan
There’s nothing not to like when you’re reasonable :)

Food and drink very expensive and card only

Breakfast was good. bed was comfy, room overall was nice.
No access to front of hotel via road/car. Drop off point is not sign posted. Car park sign is too small...blink and you miss it.
There are two car parks opposite hotel so poor signage means you can easily mix the two up.
The Chaise lounge and stool in our room were badly stained on the fabric.
Location of plug sockets in relation to the mirror were too far. You need an extension lead.

I liked the location of the hotel and also that it was cleaned to a very high standard.
I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Stoke.
It would be a good idea to separate the water provision from the juice machine. I didn't like the long queue just to get a glass of water.

Location, style and the big bed. The hotel was beautiful and so very clean.
A bath would have been nice and more channels on the TV. But we enjoyed our stay and would choose Hilton Hotels again.

From bad experiences here over a year ago, I thought I'd try again. This time around, everything was really good. Nothing bad to say about it.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.
