The location of the unit is fantastic. It’s very close to Mammoth Village, lots of restaurants, and the Gondola, so that was great.
The overall condition of the unit is okay, but it’s really worn out and desperately needs an update…with the exception being the beds, which we all agreed we’re really comfortable.
The big issue with the unit is the lack of cleanliness. There were places that hadn’t been dusted in a long time, a number of the pots and pans were dirty, some of the cups in the cupboards were so dirty that they stuck to the shelves, and one of the bathrooms had a soiled toilet brush. Definitely not the sort of thing you we expected….especially at the cost per night.
Our group really liked the location, but were disappointed with how dirty things were and the overall condition.

The property was in the perfect location next to the Village. The only thing I would recommend is a better cleaning service from the property management because their was a smell in the kitchen sink and floors were not vacuumed or house not dusted. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay.

Wifi didn't work.Gas fireplace didn't work.Poorly illuminated kitchen and common areas.Overall, poorly cleaned, very worn conditions, scary carpets.No extra linens.The dullest knives ever, probably twenty in total in various drawers but not one sharp one.Randomly equipped kitchen, dirty pans in the cupboard.Great location close to the village.

Nice unit, comfortable, clean. Couple of issues: 114 was being remodeled this week, so noise level was high during day time. Power went out in the kitchen one AM (learned this was due to the ice maker overworking; maintenance responder told us this). How the lights worked took some learning. No water coming out of the lower master bedrm. bath, 1st sink. Main TV upstairs was great, but one in lower master bedrm. had no cable/was select streaming only. Loved the bidets! Pool and jacuzzi were functional, mostly clean and good temps. Would stay here again for a large group!

We love mammoth and have stayed in the area several times. However this was our first time staying at Mammoth Estates. We had 10 people so finding the right accommodations is not that easy with a pet.I can only give #115 two stars.Had a whole house fan but didn’t really work, no ceiling fans, window screens missing. So to say the place was stuffy and super hot inside. The area rugs were very dirty. Our kids feet were super dirty after walking and playing on them. The second day that we were there we went out fishing and when we got back there were workers scraping the trim outside our door, taping the lock getting ready to paint it. They had even gone inside because the weather stripping was laying on the inside stairs of our condo.On a good note when I called Mammoth reservations they were very prompt in stopping the painters on our unit. They brought us a couple of box fans(just moved the hot air around). We had a toilet not working and fixed right away. The owners really need to replace the tattered and dirty rugs and put in ceiling fans if they expect upward of $500 dollars a night.

My family and I stayed here the week before the new year. The location is excellent walking distance to The Village and the unit updated modernly. However, there was sewer odor coming from the vents throughout our entire stay which caused nausea and distress for us. I called the management who said they were sending a plumber to work on it. I complained multiple times to no avail. Unfortunately, because of the holiday week there were no other options for a family of our size to move. We tried turning off the heat and covering the vents but this only muted the disgusting odor and left us very cold. We had fun snow activities during the day, which gave us a reprieve, but the evenings and early mornings were unpleasant and sickening in this unit. I'm nauseous just thinking about it!. Beware of this problem as I doubt it's new. Shame on the management for renting this unit with a potential health hazard.

I traveled with 8 adults, each couple had their own room. That was very important. the condo is very nice, plenty space and the location is walking distance to many places. Mammoth is beautiful in the summer, I live in Hawaii and am not a fan of snow! We are talking about going back for a longer stay next summer : )

This place was honestly great. It had everything you could possibly need. Fully stocked kitchen, Perfect location. Only reason I didn’t give it a five star is because the bedding at least in the master bedroom is really old, but more than anything it was the the forced heat that comes on at night that we had no control over. We went in the middle of summer time and it would get super hot at night. There is no AC in the house which we didn’t know and we were miserable at night and barely slept because of the FORCED HEAT. We called the office and they said they would come out and adjust it which I guess they did when we were gone but it was still the same. We had the worst sleep during our entire stay. Maybe if we went during the winter time we wouldn’t have any complaints.

Condo has been updated but the water pressure is really bad and most of the plumbing in the bathrooms had issues from loose faucets to toilets that didn’t flush well. Fan in small downstairs bathroom didn’t work. King size bed feels like you are sleeping in a futon-it’s a low futon type bed-awful! All rooms need black out shades, super bright in the morning and for mid day nappers. The condo has a funky lighting system and lights flicker on and off which is not conducive to kids trying to get to sleep. Sofa in main area is big but low quality, no support. Not great on the back and neck after a long day of skiing. Kitchen had no dish towels, no dishwashing detergent. Couldn’t access Netflix and had to wait 2 days for management to come get the DVD player to work. Overall , not a condo that we would want to come back to for the price we could get something much nicer.

Lovely condo in a lovely area.
A few minor issues: the grill on the deck was not at all clean nor ready to use, also the office staff did not seem very helpful or friendly about getting change/quarters for the washing machines (only way to do clothes, no washer or dryer available in unit.)

My family regularly rents condos in Mammoth and this was amongst the favorites. The owner decorated and maintains with great attention to detail so it feels so warm, cozy and like home. The management was very nice to work with, responsive and accommodating. This home is located just a half block from the shuttle stop and two blocks from the Village. These factors all combine for a very pleasant stay in Mammoth. My family was thankful for the nice accommodations.

This is a nice unit in a condo community. Cabinetry, fixtures etc. were recently upgraded for a upscale feel. Management was very helpful and accommodating, even on a major holiday as 4th of July. Plenty of amenities such as a pool and ping-pong for kids.
The only thing that was an "inconvenience" was how hot the unit became during the day. Many buildings in that part of the country are not air-conditioned, so when the temps soar outside, it gets really stuffy inside. And being from Illinois, our tolerance for cold is greater than our tolerance for heat. :)
The management was kind enough to lend us couple of box fans that let us get through the night. It did become pleasant late at night into the morning hours.

Comfortable, upscale condo
I shared this condo with friends in March. Even though I had the smallest bedroom by the front door, it was quiet and comfortable. All of us appreciated the queen beds. There were five of us total and we each enjoyed our bedrooms. With two baths downstairs and one up, getting ready was pretty efficient. The owner has put a great deal of thought into the design and furnishings. Everything is so comfortable...and new and well made! That's unusual in Mammoth where so many of the condos are weekend getaways for Los Angeles families who furnish them with old furniture. It is obvious that this is not a party house, unless your party includes smart cocktails and sophisticated people (not really us, but we felt that way during our stay). The location is extremely convenient. You can walk to the Village, the Westin, or the town gondola in about five minutes or less. The shuttle bus from the resort drops you off about half-a-block away from the unit. We parked the car the day we arrived and didn't move it until we left four days later. This condo was a great place to relax and rejuvenate after a long day of skiing. If it's available, snap it up.

Very cool place!
I just went online to see if this condo was available as I rented it last year and loved it after meeting the owner on a flight to NY. I never skied in Mammoth before and he convinced me to try it out and then he made the arrangements with one of the managers - Julie - to allow me to use it. I now see it is totally booked until first part of April. That sort of ruins my plans for this weekend but with so much snow falling this week I will book April as it will be great skiing then too I assume. As I read the reviews I thought I should help out and say something because it was a great place. If you are a mature group and willing to take care of it, I would highly recommend it. It's very comfortable. The sofa is almost hard to get off of it's so comfortable.

Amazing Condo
I'm sitting in this condo as I write this review because I'm simply astonished. The place is gorgeous. Like the review above I agree you should not bring children here. But if you are an adult who wants to stay somewhere classy and will take care of a place like it's your own I would suggest you stay here. I've stayed in condos all over Mammoth and I've never stayed anywhere like this one. The lights can be dimmed, there are candles and high ceilings and books everywhere – it's unbelievably cozy and I'm thinking I could extend my stay a night or two as I am so comfortable and at ease here. If you can get this place I would bet you won't find nicer - not in Mammoth. This owner clearly has good taste.

Gorgeous, glamorous and cozy home.
This condo was more like an upmarket home than a Mammoth condo. Beautiful throws on the beds and sofa. An extraordinary and beautiful chandelier over the dining table. All top end pots and pans. I couldn't believe it. More like a Four Seasons than a condo. The sofa was amazingly comfortable and there were skylights where you could see the gondola pass over. As it turns out, I found out this until is hardly available. The owner uses it a lot or gives it to his friends so if you can grab it for rental - I highly recommend it. But be forewarned, it's not for young kids or frat parties. It's decorated beautifully and we were happy to take care of it like it was our own as it was such a delight to stay there. Oh, and only 5 minute walk to Gondola and the Village. 620 strides from door to gondola - my cousin counted them. We walked with our skis the first day no problem and then left the skis in a locker for rest of our trip. We could be from our front door to on the chair lift in 25 minutes.

Love this place
I loved staying at Mammoth Estates. Great location. Walked to the Village Restaurants from my Condo. Wonderful Management and very helpful at the front desk. I liked renting from someone who was on site as i needed a little help and they were right there for me. Spa was a lot of fun and large. The condo was decorated really well and super clean. Comfortable beds. Nice view from my condo of the Gondola. It snowed really hard and I just parked my car and walked to shopping and the restaurants from my front door.
I will stay there again and again!
