We had a fabulous stay at Under the Palms. The house had everything and more that we needed including a fully equipped kitchen. We traveled with a large group of 8 adults and 5 kids 8 and under. A pack n play, baby monitor, infant tub, tons of beach items/chairs/toys were available. The pool was big and the screened in porch was a dream! We would definitely stay here again. The property manager was also very helpful. I would recommend renting a golf cart as the beach is a bit of a walk especially with kids. We rented from saltwater rides and they brought the golf cart to us. We already want to book another stay here.

We had a great time. Wonderful space to use. Some fun activities. Not quite as close to the beach as we would have liked, but still a very easy walk to get there, so not really an issue at all. It was unfortunately a little cold while we were there, and we weren’t allowed to heat the pool so that was a bit of a bummer. But overall we really loved the place and would recommend it.

Property was beautiful . House and sleeping quarters were perfect. Loved the kitchen and the fireplace. Weather prevented us from using the pool or porch but we would go back again.

A beautiful, well cared for home. The pool was essential since it was so hot the week we used it in August. The beach is not far but not close when it is in the 90s. We ended up driving to the beach and parking on the beach road. Much better. Beach entrances are just north of 31st street or 33rd street.
The kitchen is very well equipped. The downstairs ice machine and full size refrigerator were also excellent. The only negative thing I can say is that the bedroom with the bunk beds has much thinner mattresses and the adult who had to sleep in it did not find that comfortable. Also, we never found an AC vent in that room. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house to anyone.

The house had more than enough room(we had 6 adults and 4 kids), great floor plan for big families. A lot of different areas to spread out. The kitchen was beautiful and stocked with everything you need. LOVE the outdoor area with pool, ping pong, dart board, bar and lounge chairs. We practically lived out there! The golf cart was also a great add on to get to the beach!!

Amazing vacation
We had a wonderful vacation at this property! Everything was just as pictured and stated in the listing! John the property manager was quick to respond and rectify to our one issue. We look forward to our next vacation at IOP!

Fabulous Family Reunion
This home provided the perfect amount of space for fun, sleeping, eating and that occasional privacy appreciated in our group of ten. Especially the screened in porch. The beautiful pool, games and outdoor kitchen area were well used. The beach accessories and the golf cart were priceless. Overall we had a beautiful family gathering after many years apart and this home was the perfect place to do it!

Perfect Beach House
We had an amazing stay at 'Under the Palms'. We were a group of three families with kids ages 10, 11 and 13. Everyone loved the house - super clean, beautifully decorated and just the right size. The outdoor area is awesome - ping pong, pool, kitchen area, bathroom and shower - everything you need for a good time. The grassy, shaded area is a bonus too for playing cornhole, etc.. Highly recommend this perfect beach house! We will be back!!

Fantastic place. It is the best stocked place we have stayed at with utensels, all shelves drawers labeled, books, refrigerator size, ice maker, wine cooler, beach accessories and towels. The only kitchen item we could not find was a can opener. The golf cart was well worth the additional cost. Great location and close to everything and quiet at night. The property manager, Mr. Beall, is great to deal with as he was very responsive and knowledgeable to resolve issues quickly and correctly.
The TV in the front bedroom did not work as it went blank shortly after turning it on. Additionally, the bunk bed frame needs to be secured as it is quite wobbly.

We had the most wonderful first visit to Isle of Palms and this home "Under the Palms" was a huge reason for our great experience. This home is absolutely stunning inside and out. It is well equipt with all household items you would need for cooking, sleeping, lounging and outdoor activities. It was in a great location, very near the beach and town. The homeowner John was wonderful to work with and the communication was great. We utilized the pool and rented the golf cart for an extra cost. It was fun to ride it around the neighborhood and to the beach. Lastly the beds were SO comfortable. We wish we stayed longer!!

Our family throuroughly enjoyed our time spent at "Under the Palms" and were impressed with how every detail was thought out by the owners. Surpassed 5 stars! Cabinets were labeled and loaded with every necessity, southern decor was superb, beds were luxe amazing, shower was fantastic!
We stayed in March, so having the pool heated made our evenings more fun and the golf cart made the trips to the beach easier.
This property included the most comfortable beach chairs and toys! We felt right at home. Many happy memories were made.

We truly could not have picked a better house to stay in Charleston! John was so accommodating and responsive leading up to our arrival and throughout our trip. He even allowed us to ship a few Amazon purchases to the house before our arrival. The neighborhood was safe and full of lovely neighbors who we met during our stay. The houses nearby did get quiet an eye-full during our strip aerobics class, but the outdoor space was too great to pass up! The layout of the house offered plenty of space for our group of 10 women- and provided us with everything we could have fathomed needing.
I will definitely be marking this property as a place to return to!

We truly could not have picked a better house to stay in Charleston! John was so accommodating and responsive leading up to our arrival and throughout our trip. He even allowed us to ship a few Amazon purchases to the house before our arrival. The neighborhood was safe and full of lovely neighbors who we met during our stay. The houses nearby did get quiet an eye-full during our strip aerobics class, but the outdoor space was too great to pass up! The layout of the house offered plenty of space for our group of 10 women- and provided us with everything we could have fathomed needing.
I will definitely be marking this property as a place to return to!

Perfect vacation home
This house exceeded our expectations. It is immaculate and well-maintained. Nothing is worn. The kitchen is amazing. There is plenty of interior space to spread out on a rainy day. The beach is at the foot of the street. The neighborhood is quiet. We did not have to run to Target for anything. Every amenity was included. We are completely satisfied guests.

My friends and I were down at IOP to celebrate my sister!! The house is absolutely gorgeous!! Everything you need is there, and for hosting a bachelorette party we had everything we needed! Loved the hot tub as well!! Thank you for helping us celebrate my sister in your beautiful home!

It really is a beautiful home! We had a few last minute requests due to weather, but property manager was very responsive. Just a note that heated pool/sauna and golf cart are additional - fees add up quickly for this property, but you get what you pay for in quality of experience.

Our family of 9 (8 adults) and our 6 month old grandchild had a wonderful week at this fabulous property!!! Everything was absolutely perfect! The home is probably the best stocked and appropriated that we have ever stayed at! There were even Honest baby products which was amazing!!! We thoroughly enjoyed golf cart rides to the beach, long walks in the beach, and the hot tub after golf!!! We had do much fun cooking in the spacious kitchen and eating together at the spacious table for 10. Many memories were made!!! This house has literally everything you could want, and everything labeled! We had an amazing stay, relaxing in the house, on the porch, by the pool, down the beach, or putzing around the IoP in the golf-cart. Would definitely come back.

For those that rent houses on a regular basis, you truly understand that a responsive manager is almost as important as the house itself. It was our first visit to Isle of Palms and we can't wait to come back!

Loved the house!
We had a great time! Very well stocked kitchen with dishes, bowls, pans, etc- they thought of everything! The outdoor kitchen and restroom next to the pool was great. Lots of great beach towels too. We had such a relaxing fun time.
