Love this home! It is well laid out, has all the comforts of home and then some. The view is amazing and the beds comfortable. Best vacation home we've ever stayed in. I would recommend this home without hesitation and hope to return again in the future.

We recently stayed in this rental at Sea Colony. This is our 4th year on the property and we always enjoy the amenities and beach! Cleaning has always been a shortcoming on property, but this year, the cleaning prior to check-in was non-existent. We witnessed the crew in and out in less than 10 mins, only enough times to drop off new linens. We pay for a cleaning fee, so to have this be neglected was completely unsatisfactory. Bathrooms had thick black mold and pink soap scum throughout the shower. Clearly hadn’t been cleaned in some time. Dog hair on all the furniture, treats under the sofa and ants EVERYWHERE. We alerted the staff upon check-in and they dropped off ant traps, which was like a homing beacon for all ants on property to report to our unit. It was disgusting. We had to vacuum multiple times a day just to walk through the unit. We sent videos and pictures and got no response. If I was an owner, I would want to know this about the cleaning service I had hired, as this greatly impacts their renters. It put a serious damper on our week and I don’t think we will be back.

We had a wonderful time staying in 606N. The layout worked perfectly for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the living room space was great. There were tons of extra blankets available as well which I love. The only things that I would recommend is if the owners would put in blackout shades into the master bedroom. The current window treatments allow signficant light in and don't help keep the temperature cool by mid afternoon. A fan would also be nice for that room (as that room tends to be hot) and access to a closet in the room. Also, I would recommend they better clean or treat the grout in the showers which had significant mold. The kitchen was fully stocked (although very disorganized, likely not the owners fault but because of multiple renters). It would have been nice though to have a dish rack and larger toaster (ie a 4 slotted toaster, not a 2) given most families in a 3 bedroom have more than 2 guests. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely consider coming back!

Everything from start to finish was amazing, the condo itself is beautiful. With easy access to the beach, indoor pool that was in the same building when it was raining and with restaurants and things to do in walking distance. Would recommend this condo without hesitation and will defiantly keep this place in my favorites and will be returning next summer

We had a great week at our rental. Our unit was very well appointed and nicely updated. Can’t beat the view and location to all Sea Colony amenities. You can tell the owners have put a lot of love into the unit. Where our stay was seriously lacking was the cleaning (or lack there of) of the unit upon our arrival. The floors were filthy, the bathroom toilets or shower never cleaned, sand everywhere. Even after calling vacasa to clean again, it still was filthy. For what we paid for the unit I would have hoped that it would have been much more thoroughly cleaned. We spent three hours cleaning the unit ourselves upon arrival. Not the best way to start a vacation. Besides the poor start to our arrival, we enjoyed our week in the condo.

We had a nice week in this condo. A few of the pros: this condo was spacious and tastefully decorated with newer furnishings. The view was spectacular and the outdoor furniture was beautiful and sturdy. The balcony was clean and the family / dining area were clean. The mattress in the master bedroom was more comfortable than most. The refrigerator was clean. Another pro for us was that the reserved parking space for the condo was outside (we always have a top carrier on our car that prevents us from utilizing the parking spaces underneath the condos). Vacasa has done a beautiful job at maintaining the common areas (the promenade, the elevators, the beach bathrooms, etc.)
However, there were some cons with respect to the condo. As an initial matter, at some point during the weeks prior to our a stay, a guest had spilled something on the cabinets that they did not bother to clean up such that the faces and the knobs on these cabinets were actually sticky to the touch, and the cleaning staff overlooked this. The floor in front of the dishwasher and sink was also sticky. There were chocolate stains on the dresser in the master bedroom. These issues were just as much the responsibility (or lack thereof) of prior guests as they were the cleaning staff. I used some cleanser and attempted to clean these off as best I could (but without a mop, it wasn’t easy).
Another con was that there was a considerable amount of mildew in the master shower. Although I understand that to a certain extent this cannot be avoided, for nearly $1,000.00 per night, it seems that this should be mitigated. The frame of the bed in the master bedroom could use a good vacuuming / cleaning between the sides of the mattress and the bed frame (I avoided looking down whenever I made / got into the bed). The dresser / TV area / Blu-ray was extremely dusty - looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The master bedroom was extremely warm, but we kept the shades down, the doors to the outside closed, the AC on, and used the fan (thank you for having that) to keep it as cool as possible.
My overall impression was that based on the furnishings and the decor, this condo appears to be loved by its owners, but not all guests demonstrate the respect or consideration that they should given that it’s someone else’s home, and unfortunately, that becomes the extra obligation of the cleaning staff, which was overlooked.

Wonderful Stay, Despite the Parking
The home was lovely. Loved the finishings and the view. It ended up being a great trip after a rough beginning.
The only negative of the entire trip was the parking situation. While I understand we only have one reserved spot, we paid quite a bit of money to have a second parking pass. We vacationed with another family and ended up having to pay for for offsite parking for our second car. The agents at Vacasa were of no help and the customer service severely lacked. The agents repeatedly told me that there was parking. After looking for 3 hours, we gave up. Why, if there is assigned parking under the building, isn’t that spot also given to the people who are renting the unit out for a week? Clearly, the owners aren’t there and could have helped a lot of people. It was a disappointing start to our vacation.

Great to be right over the ocean. The kitchen was really nice. The decor was great. Adult beds were comfortable (kids room was okay). TV in the living room was super nice. We didn't use the TVs that were in the bedrooms, but it was nice that they were present. Wifi worked pretty well.
A couple of frustrating things came up with the building operations, but wouldn't take a star off the review for them. Basically, if they aren't going to have everything (elevators, pools) they need to at least communicate the day-to-day schedule better. The maintenance staff and lifeguards we interacted with were very nice though.

Good Set-up for Small Family + Grandparents

We enjoyed our stay at 606N Edgewater House. The condo was clean and had lovely furnishings. I am sorry that the condo was not checked well before our arrival. The icemaker didn't work. It was fixed after I reported it. Also the door latch and handle to the balcony was broken. This sort of maintenance should be routine.. Dishes in the kitchen were not very clean with one pan dirty as though it had not be washed at all. Again routine checking would have revealed this. I think the management company needs to pay better attention.

We enjoyed our stay at 606N Edgewater House. The condo was clean and had lovely furnishings. I am sorry that the condo was not checked well before our arrival. The icemaker didn't work. It was fixed after I reported it. Also the door latch and handle to the balcony was broken. This sort of maintenance should be routine.. Dishes in the kitchen were not very clean with one pan dirty as though it had not be washed at all. Again routine checking would have revealed this. I think the management company needs to pay better attention.

Our family had a fantastic time here. The views are gorgeous! Wake up at 6:30 am to the sunrise out your window! The indoor pool is right downstairs as well as the outdoor pool. The condo was updated and very comfortable, with plenty of room for our family of 4. We also appreciated the COVID protocols at the Sea Colony, felt very safe.
