We had a wonderful stay at this listing. It was the perfect size for our family of 5 (3 young children). Barb was very responsive to everything we needed and the house was stocked with lots of essentials. Close to Acadia and we could quickly get to different parts of the park. We would book again.

Great experience. Accommodations were amazing. The little touches by the owner really added to our experience and enjoyment of the property. We'd definitely stay here again. Great distance from the national park and Bar Harbor. Very peaceful and serene.

Barbara was the perfect host! The apartment was perfect and the view out the back windows was so beautiful! The drive to Acadia National Park was only 10 minutes away. Great location!

This property was excellent! The house was exactly as stated and was well-equipped with everything we needed. The views of the Jordan River from the back porch and through the abundant windows across the back of the house were BEAUTIFUL! Barb was very attentive to our needs and helpful when we had questions. We hope to stay here again on future trips!

We absolutely loved our rental in Trenton. It was a perfect fit for our family of five. We loved how the location was so easy to access and a short drive to Acadia, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The landscape and water vista at the house are gorgeous, and we enjoyed some quiet evenings after our long hikes on the back patio watching the birds and the tide rise. Check in and check out were easy, except for the fact that we would’ve enjoyed one more day of vacation in Maine. :-) We highly recommend this rental and a trip to Maine!

Perfect place to stay for your visit to Acadia National Park. The view is gorgeous and it is so peaceful. Only minutes from the park. We loved it!

Our family took a long road trip to visit Acadia National Park for the first time. With our recent college grad son and my 81 year old mom along, we had varied needs and expectations of finding the right place to stay. Barbara's Riverfield House exceeded our expectations. Charming and well appointed, Barbara took care of every detail with thoughtfulness and care. A short drive to Acadia, we spent many dawn to dusk days in the park, but also enjoyed the scenery to/from, and the restaurants and fun stops in between. Barbara was excellent to communicate with us, making sure we had everything we needed to make for a wonderful stay. We loved Maine and hope to be back again. When we do, we happily stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at River Field. Barb’s communication was excellent from start to finish, including information in the house for activities to enjoy. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked; little things like night lights, luggage racks, extra blankets were all appreciated. Did I mention the view and that we could bring our dog? Don’t miss this peaceful retreat!

The property was exactly as described and served as a nice retreat from the many tourists in the Bar Harbor area. With the exception of an occasional airplane we enjoyed a very tranquil environment for rest and relaxation. The water view and grounds are spectacular and Barb was very responsive to our needs. We would stay there again.
