I’ve stayed here before and enjoyed it so much I thought I would go again and it was just as nice. Since it wasn’t winter this time there was much more going on around town to see and do. You can even see the lake from the front windows and see the sun coming up (colors as there are buildings where the sun is actually at)

Great apartment in every way - love the back deck area too!

We really enjoyed our time in Racine, WI. The Hive was the perfect location to explore the area and was conveniently located to the marina and Lake Michigan Pathway which was great for biking and walking. There were several wonderful restaurants within walking distance of The Hive. Angela had everything we needed for a relaxing stay at The Hive, the bee and honey decor was precious. The back patio was a special treat and we enjoyed dinner and watching the stars under the cafe lights. If we are fortunate enough to make it back to Wisconsin we will certainly choose to stay at The Hive again!

Angela was very communicative and easy to work with. The apartment was just as listed and very cozy and clean. I loved all of the natural light. Our one complaint is the noise from the road which unfortunately our host can have no control over. Other than that a wonderful stay!

This property was as listed! Clean, easy to find, secure, etc. We were in town celebrating Harley Davidson's 120th Anniversary. This property was definitely where we got the most bang for our buck! Thanks again for renting to us.

Apartment was clean, spacious and bright. Rooms were big and beds were comfortable. The location was great-location allowed for walking to many local restaurants and close to the lake. We really enjoyed our stay.

This apartment unit is perfect. We had 4 total 2 married couples. Perfect location and beats any hotel in the area. We were in town Curling and could not recommend this enough for curlers that travel for tournaments. Very close to delicious restaurants and we made breakfast at the apartment each day.

We were so happy with this rental. This VRBO offers beautiful, spacious rooms in a very nice location in the downtown Racine area. It was extremely clean when we arrived and had all the amenities we could have asked for. Though we didn't need it, the kitchen was fully stocked. Beds, including the sleeper sofa, were very comfortable. This will be our go to VRBO when we visit our family in the area.

Love staying at The Hive! Comfortable, clean, well stocked and cozy. I love sitting by the window with a cup of hot cocoa and watching the people come and go along the street. Although it is right on the street, the traffic noise is minimal especially in the bedrooms. Location is great! Downtown is just a quick 3 blocks away and our purpose, watching Carthage College Football, is a quick 14 minutes away. We will be back!

Beautiful condo, easy walk to the RAM, library and restaurants

The Hive was all we hoped it would be and more. We were four adults and were very comfortable. The place is beautifully done with signs of the host’s thoughtfulness everywhere. The kitchen has everything you could need for a long stay. The bedrooms are comfortable with room to unpack. Too bad our stay was in late October or we would have spent some time on the large outdoor deck in back. The living room looks out onto 6th Street (with a view of Lake Michigan if you look down the street). On the second floor, street sounds are minimal but they are there. As a Chicagoan, I didn’t notice but some might. The included parking spot is within view just across the street. Any visitor new to Racine should definitely check out the Racine Art Museum, a two block walk east, as well as their lovely lakefront. All in all, we were very happy with our stay. I unreservedly recommend this place.

We wanted to stay together with friends and found The Hive! It is a cute apartment above a hair salon downtown Racine. Just a walking distance to great restaurants and bars! Well worth the price and has excellent amenities that have all the comforts of home!

Apt was very nice, very clean and comfortable. Loved our stay and visit. Only negative was the neighborhood this was in, did not like.

This apartment is awesome. It is as beautiful as the pictures show it. It has everything you'll need for you visit to Racine. You can walk to everything in downtown Racine. Restaurants, Bars, Museums, Shopping, Lakefront. The deck is a great place to hang out and enjoy some outdoor dining and drinks. Highly recommend this place!! Thanks to our host Angela. The apartment looked just like the picture. It was ample and clean and ultra modern. We loved the big bedrooms and best of all. We enjoyed the outdoor music and the vintage cars riding by. It is conveniently located close to restaurants, bars, and shopping. We loved the patio area up on the roof. My wife loved swimming in the big beds. Overall, the apartment added to our vacation experience. Thanks Angela.

The property was neat and clean, and I look forward to staying there again next year. Even thou I left 3 days early overall it was a great value. The property is close to many good restaurants and easy access to Milwaukee and the expressway.

Apartment was clean, comfortable, roomy and secure. It's on the second floor with a long flight of stairs, but locked door at top and bottom. At first glance wondered about the area, but found several pubs within couple blocks (including Toad Hall which has amazing food), and felt comfortable walking in the neighborhood both day and evening. Would definitely stay again.

This apartment was super nice and clean! It was spaced out inside too so you weren’t cramped! We loved the rooftop patio and used it daily while there! We would definitely come again!

This property is one of the most charming we have ever stayed in - every detail is right on the nose! It’s in walking distance of everything you’d want to see in the even more charming Racine. We had a perfect stay!

Amazing apartment! High ceilings, great lighting throughout, easy and secure double keypad entry...one at the entrance to stairwell and the other at top of stairs. Bright light colors, kitchen fully equiped with literally everything you might need..keurig plus a french press, oven, dishwasher, microwave, even baggies, syran wrap, spices etc. Perfect shower. Hot water, good pressure, large enough you don't hit elbows but not so large that you get cold. Nice high shower head for tall people. Good lighting and fan over shower. Amazing closet off bathroom with nice hangers and shelves and all beach stuff you might need including umbrella. Small desk area tucked into living room, large TV. Natural light in both morning and evening through the bay window. Full laundry area. There are quite a few stairs to enter but the stairway is wide enough to get luggage up and has a very firm rail. Parking is across the downtown street but you can see your car at all times out the window. The air conditioning works super well and the apt stays cool and is not at all humid. Nice wood look floors with area rugs. Very clean and well cared for. I loved my stay and will stay there any time I am in the area if it is avail. The downtown restaurants are 2 short blocks away. Maple table amazing for breakfast. Gelato place more towards the marina. Excellent coffee places nearby. Angela was a excellent communicator. She truly has added every little touch...make up remover, a small shelf in the bathroom to keep stuff off the counter, little fake plants and cute decor...She has thought of everything!! Thanks for a wonderful stay!!!

It’s within walking distance to a variety of ethnic restaurants, downtown shops, and the waterfront of Lake Michigan. The Zoo is just a short drive north. We enjoyed our stay immensely, and are most grateful to Angela for her hospitality and providing the “bee hive” as a place to return to as we buzzed around various parts of the town!
