This was the perfect property for our family reunion. It was beautiful and spacious. We may great use of the pool and movie room, Kitchen was very complete with everything we needed. Property manager responded promptly. Would love to come again next year!

Our stay here started our perfect wedding weekend! From the rich history of the house, the amenities, location and the grounds of this estate were above our expectations. Heather (property manager) does a tremendous job with any questions before our stay and after. The only question we had was “do we really have to leave”….The home alone is fantastic and the pool, barn and acreage was the added plus. Definitely renting this again.

We had a terrific vacation. We have been taking our grandkids on vacation for many years. Due to some unusual circumstances our children are spaced rather oddly. They are in their thirties and forties, and their kids run from 9 months to 18 years. Trying to keep them busy is quite a chore. But not in your home. They all agreed this was our best time ever. This property offered a wide range of accommodations for many interests. From the children in our family to the oldest adults, everyone found a room or activity to their liking. The pool was well maintained and appointed with deck furniture and a picnic area where we spent most of our outdoor time. Indoor time was split between the multi-activity barn and the big screen room in the main house. Modern upgrades only enhance the original character of the property. Ample parking in a very quiet and secluded neighborhood really gave the feeling we were in a remote country large, while in reality we were a few minutes from community and commercial locations. Heather was great and responded quickly to our questions. We would definitely stay here again and give our strong recommendation.

This property is amazing! There is so much space inside and outside to enjoy. Our big family had so much fun swimming, playing games in the amazing barn, and could be together in the large kitchen. Heather was a great host! I would recommend this property to anyone!

Our family of 14 celebrated our family's Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays at Woodside for the second time. The house and grounds are simply amazing! The home is charming and well-appointed with anything and everything you can imagine needing. Our grandkids loved playing in the barn, and watching football (Go Blue!) in the movie room was awesome! Looking forward to spending the holidays at Woodside again!

This property is amazing! There is so much charm and character. We were in town for a family wedding, 10 of us stayed here very comfortably. The property was well maintained and the owners are very responsive. You’re close to many conveniences but feel like you’re in the country. The barn had so many fun activities. My family enjoyed the home very much!

This is my favorite VRBO that I have stayed in to date. It is a beautiful, well stocked home in an excellent neighborhood. We were on a trip with a group of teens for a convention that took place downtown Indianapolis. We had a hard time getting the students motivated to leave the house because there was so much for them to do there. They loved the media room and had a great time bonding while playing games in the barn. We made most of our meals at the house and had everything needed to do so. Our host was super accommodating and responded quickly to all of our questions. We hope to stay again sometime.

This was an excellent place to stay as a large group of friends and family for a wedding weekend. It is a clean, well stocked and comfy place that has a little something for everybody. The pool is great. Our group was happy and would return.

Woodside retreat exceeded our expectations! The property was exceedingly clean and exceptionally appropriated. There was everything our family of 15 could desire. The host was very accommodating and available. We are already talking about our next visit. Definitely five star!

Wanted a relaxing getaway for the entire family. The pool was wonderful, the yard was spacious, and the house was very accommodating. Short drive for necessities. Everyone had a great time.

We spent the weekend celebrating our sons and son-in-laws birthdays with 4 families (12 people) and it could not have been more perfect. From the beautiful grounds to the in ground pool - Everything was perfect. With age ranges from 60 to 6 months we truly had an enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Woodside Retreat! The large, beautiful property was very clean and well-maintained, and the owners were exceptionally responsive. Our family especially enjoyed the pool and watching the baby deer! We hope to come back soon!

This was our second summer spending time at this amazing property. There were four toddlers traveling with us and between the pool & huge fenced acreage they had plenty to keep them busy. Which means the adult can kick back and enjoy. Thank you for another wonderful stay.

This property is beyond amazing! The furnishings, the location, the amenities, everything is just perfect for a family getaway or a client event like mine. The house was very clean and our Host, Heather, was very attentive and accommodating with our extra requests, she's fantastic! I would HIGHLY recommend this property and any of this Host's properties!

Our annual family Christmas gathering was no longer going to happen at a venue that had worked for 30 years, so we needed something that would be comfortable for our youngest, under 1, to our oldest, 93. This property ended up being perfect for us! The barn was a wonderful space for the grandkids/great grandkids to play hide and seek, imaginery nerf guns battles (a huge arsenal of nurf guns are in the barn, without bullets-so the best kind of battle when you don't have to reload constantly for the kids), and a variety of games for those ages 3-18. Then the house offered multiple comfortable spaces for conversation. Great Grandpa struggles a bit with hearing, so this was a pleasant surprise how easy it was for him to have conversations. The media room was big enough to host all 30 of us for a gift exchange. We are already planning on going back next year, so hopefully Heather will have us! One comment that I heard multiple times, was that while the property was great for us for our December gathering, it would even be more fun in the summer having the pool available, taking advantage of the grassy acreage for play, and using the multiple fire pits. The only time the family left the property during our 3 days there was some would go for walks and runs on the trails right across the street. The weather didn't cooperate much with us, being rainy and wet. However having the barn and house still meant plenty to do to entertain ourselves-hence never leaving the property! Then for the 3 families that stayed at the property, we all slept well, enjoyed hosting the rest of the family at the house, and we were all very comfortable. There wasn't a single thing we needed to reach out to Heather about while there-everything worked well and was as described. Heather was also helpful ahead of our stay, answering questions about layout and bedrooms to help us with planning. Our family flew in from around the country to gather for a family Christmas. The house was large & well-appointed. The 4 acre property was great for outdoor exploration & play. The party barn on the property was perfect for the whole family. We hope to return in the future.
