Great place

Lovely home! It was just what we needed. Long weekend for the kids to do some skiing, relaxing, and recharging. The home was very clean, perfect quiet downtown location, walking distance to coffee, shopping, and movie theater. Quick drive to Nubs or Highlands. The home has all the amenities you need, and then some. We look forward to staying again.

Perfect place, awesome location, great host. Jason made everything simple and easy. We had 4 adults, 2 of the older variety, 2 of the younger variety, a teenager and our dog. We all loved it. We are planning to return.

We visited this property in October 2022. It was lovely; very clean, and spacious. The location was perfect; just a short walk to downtown and Howses Fudge & the beach. It was especially nice because we could bring our dog. The owner was very responsive when we had questions about anything. The kitchen was well stocked and it was easy to cook meals in. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet,. We had a plumbing problem but it was quickly resolved. We are a family of 4 and there was plenty of room for everyone Thank you for a great visit! We hope to return this summer!

Clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Short walk (couple blocks) to restaurants and retail in Harbor Springs. Lovely place to stay for a weekend away in Northern Michigan.

Property was as advertised - clean, airy and very comfortable. Well equipped with what you would expect in a home (towels, garbage bags etc.) so it was easy to move in and enjoy Harbor Springs. Short walking distance to the center of things.

This home has a great location, is clean and a perfect spot for summer vacationers. The kitchen, laundry and bathrooms were fully loaded with all necessary items and appliances. There was an abundance of clean towels as well as a fully stocked storage room. The property also has three high quality bikes, perfect for riding through town or on surrounding trails. Jason, the owner, is friendly and extremely responsive (I merely asked if there was a Kuerig in the home and he immediately purchased one even though the home already had a traditional standard coffee maker). We traveled with our three teenagers and had ample room and, in fact, extra space. This home is nicely decorated and very comfortable. I highly recommend it and would stay there again.

This home is amazing in every way! It’s clean and updated and decorated beautiful! It’s right downtown so walking distance to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend and worth the price!

Stayed here for a ski trip at Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain. Great place for this. Washer and dryer were very handy and there is a huge mudroom to put ski boots in. The house is fantastic with four large bedrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. Location is great. Couldn’t ask for more. Host was wonderful with good communication. Check in was a breeze. Everything was extremely clean. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Location was great for skiers and others to walk into town. Everything was as described and Jason was very accommodating. Snow removal team was onsite timely and came back to touch-up walkways so we had no problem getting out after 5” of snow. Will definitely book again for next season.

We had a great stay. The home was exactly as pictured, really nice! Very clean and updated. We had everything we needed. The location was wonderful. Short walk to town and a short drive to Boyne Highlands. Communication with our host was very good and prompt. We would definitely stay here again.

This was one of the best VRBO experiences we have ever had! The cottage was so well appointed that packing was a breeze. I am also super picky about bedding and usually pack my own. This was not necessary here. The pillows, comforters and mattresses were amazing! I love how new and clean everything felt. We also enjoyed the cozy living room and fireplace. The mud room was a wonderful asset because we could keep all of our ski clothes and gear there, instead of it cluttering up the rest of the space. The location was perfect for walking into and around town. The best part was that we were able to bring our small dogs! I would definitely stay here again:)

Loved that this house was so close to town! Very attractive decor....had everything we needed!!! The one addition would have been a simple way to turn on the fireplace not connected to the heater control on the wall....... A switch by the fireplace or a remote. The nights were cool and it would have been wonderful to have a fire while we watched the football games and movies.

Host was great to work with and responded immediately to all questions. Super cute in-town house that was clean and accommodating. Easily fit our family of 5. Loved our stay and we'll be back!

If anything, the home was even more lovely than we anticipated. Pride of ownership was evident throughout. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed for preparing our meals on-site, and the on-site laundry in the ample mud room was helpful for wet gear.Beds were comfy and bath linens were plentiful. We surely felt pampered. When not out enjoying winter sports, we enjoyed puzzles and games in front of the fireplace. The location was ideal for wandering downtown, even if just for after-hours window shopping and enjoying the lights adorning the town’s enormous Christmas tree and streetscape. Local restaurants with outdoor dining options were also within a short walk. The house is just a 15 minute drive from Nub’s Nob and Boyne Highlands, only seconds from the southernmost stop along the Tunnel of Trees, and 5 minutes from the nearest grocery store. We were thrilled with this rental decision and highly recommend Harbor House for time in Harbor Springs. It was delightful for our winter visit, and is no doubt a great option in every season!
