The property was beautiful and had aesthetically pleasing features outside.

Firstly, they do not state that you can’t bring alcohol before you book it, mind you if you booking 2 days before your trip you probably won’t be able to get a refund. Once you have booked then you are told no alcohol is allowed because they have a bar. That is unreasonable for a group as that would mean we would have to spend a lot of money that was not intended to. Secondly, we were not allowed to braai in the area that was close to where we were sitting because apparently we had to buy the meat from them to be able to braai there, so we were supposed to braai in an area that was far away from us, mind you that rule was not there when booking.

Beds broke, 3 diferent rooms no bathroom dor work proper. Staaf think you ow them something. Showers do not work properly. Shower taps come loos if you open in.

The swimming pool, the garden and entertainment areas were clean and well kept.

The common kitchen area was noisy, no privacy, utensils were not on hand, had to go to the office every time we wanted something, TV was not working

I loved the place. It is more beautiful than in the pictures. The beds were clean and staff is friendly. No noise. Good for clearing your mind and far from the city.

Far from local places- restaurants, clubs etc. limited entertainment.

The swimming pool

Saw the other rooms looked better than the one I was in. Dont expect anything 🤩. It is just a normal backpackers kind of vibe place to stay. You get what you paid for. I struggled with the shower as the water was cold at first then had to call in assistance. The ceiling fan was terrible I thought it was going to fall on us as it was jiggling and making an irritating sound.

No room service for 2 days we stayed. Requested towels Upon arrival and never received them. Hung washing on a chair outside and was quickly reprimanded but no1 came with an alternative solution actually. I saw a lot of CLOTHING being done in the laundry room, opposite the washing line the tumble dryer runs FULL of clothes only.So I thought they wouldn't mind if I pop my babies clothes, which I had handwashed in the BATHROOM earlier,and was wondering forever about what to do with them as they were removed from the chair outside so quickly and brought in my by roommate. Later a lady found me sticking clothes in tumble fryerdoing that and reprimanded me big-time, saying it's not allowed. I asked her if there's some washing service and she said no. "You can wash by hand and hang it on the line". I was shocked at that. Especially considering the amount of CLOTHING that came out the dryer. If it's not allowed, then what's THAT? Bedding not changed ONCE in 2 days Room not cleaned ONCae in 2 days NO manager or senior checked to see if everything is in order, not ONCE. And there's such a BIg busy kitchen but NO MEALS or SNACKS OFFERED, just a BAR. STAFF attitude dismal and unhelpful to say the LEAST. So really, the best thing about the place is all the things that will over time ; age; fade, erode, . The customer service is not shocking, it's non existant. Makes me wonder if it's a race thing. WOW! Only NOW that I think about it, I realize that we were the ONLY white people there...could that be the reason we were so neglected and ignored and left to see to ourselves even regarding TOWELS I was late to check out today and asked lady if she can just charge another day to the room and she said she has NOTHING available. Lodge is FULL. I asked again to clarify. Honeymoon suite? FLAT? ANYTHING? She said nothing at all and it's fully booked. I went back onto the website and saw numerous rooms incl.
