The suite was a perfect size for me, my wife, and our 2 year old son. It was 100 degrees outside but the A/C kept us cool inside the house. We got to feed the alpacas, chickens, ducks, and bunny on the property. We also caught fish, played in the mini playground, and best of all, hang out with their super friendly dog, Jack. Restaurants, supermarkets, Lake Natoma, and Folsom Lake, are all less than 15 minutes away. Must try the beef noodle soup at Rice Express, the fried chicken sandwich, Old Folsom burger, and Tiramisu cake at Represa Grill. The owner, Sandy was very nice and quick to respond to text messages. We really enjoyed our stay there and hope to visit again soon.

Our stay here was amazing! So much for my kids to enjoy ! We were allowed to feed all the animals , fish and kayak. A perfect balance of play and relaxing for us all ! My daughter caught 4 fish !

We were greeted by the sweetest yellow lab who escorted us to the Guest courters. The room is located behind the main house surrounded by decking that overlooks a pond. It is a very serene setting in a beautiful property. We watched a deer with her fawns, turkeys, ducks, a llama, and turtles. If you have kids, the room is prepared with games, toys, books, and an Xbox 360. I appreciated how instructions were labeled with pictures. Clearly the host thought of every detail. Finally, communication was perfect. I will definitely return.

Location wise, it was perfect. Just a five minute drive, from anything you could need. Multiple supermarkets, restaurants, Folsom Lake. Property was peaceful and serene. Nature and animals everywhere. Three fishing ponds about 80 yards from our entrance. We spent every evening watching the sun go down, while fishing at the ponds. If you want to relax in a peaceful environment. This place is for you. We will have a return visit.

This was our first Vrbo experience and we could not have hoped for a better one! The property was exactly as described. It was safe, clean, and absolutely beautiful! The hosts are amazing and kept everything contactless. They communicated as needed through the Vrbo app and made sure we had a great experience! They are very friendly and created a warm and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommended this property! My whole family enjoyed kayaking on the private pond and the other amenities. Close to Folsom, Roseville, & Rocklin! We plan to stay again next time we visit the area!

Salmon Valley Farm was one of the best getaways our family has ever had. When we arrived, kayaks and fishing poles were out and ready for us to use. We jumped right on to using them right away. The small living area, kitchen, excellent collection of books and games were just the perfect indoor amenities for us to spend our quality time together. There was a TV and movies as well but we took advantage of the nature we don't normally have easy access to. Out-of-doors, the massive property with playground, ponds and animals were just a freeing and open space for us- compared to our usual cramped suburban environment. The property is gated and fenced and we never felt un-safe to let our kids roam around. We saw Sandy and Tom outside at some times but we were always very safely distanced. They were always responsive to any questions we had through text messaging and we never needed to meet them up close, in-person. We became so comfortable on the expansive property that we felt we did not need our masks and that was extremely liberating. Salmon Valley Farm is located close enough to groceries (such as 99 Ranch), that it is easy to order delivery via services such as Instacart. Our kids loved feeding the farm animals (chickens, duck, ducklings, alpacas), picking fruit from the fruit trees all over the property, and kayaking. It was so incredibly nice to be somewhere where there is a body of water right outside your door where you free to hop into a kayak whenever you want. We loved hearing the water, crickets, birds, turkeys and cows (in the distance) and seeing more stars in the sky at night than you would in the city. We were sad to leave and would definitely visit again.

We enjoyed our stay here at the Salmon Valley Ranch. Behind a secured gate was the attached apartment over looking one of three large ponds. The fountain was the perfect white noise to enjoy the scenery and relax. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with items you will need for cooking. Extensive movie and xbox selection. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of extra pillows and linens for our stay. We enjoyed lunch on the patio, and our daughter was obsessed with the farm dog, Jack. He was so friendly and kind. She loved seeing the llamas and chickens, and also playing on the play structure and sand box. Very close to Folsom Lake and local activities. We enjoyed to the exclusivity and privacy of this property. The owners were available if needed, but did not bother us. We highly recommend this place to stay. Very kid friendly and also perfect for a romantic get-a-way.

Perfectly located for our visit to El Dorado County. Beautiful suite overlooking the pond. Great communication with hosts and easy check in/check out process. We were thankful to have such a great place to stay.

Very clean, functional, and quiet spot near the American river. Highly recommended!
