Liked the upgrades done to this property as it was newer than some of the other units I have stayed in at The Meadows. The shower was hot and roomy. Lots of space to move in for a studio. Very easy pullout bed/couch.

There we no fans working in the room, no ironing board and we were told there was one, no replacement garbage bags to re-line cans with, and the freezer door did not close securley so the freezer iced over. Other than that it was very comfortable.

I stayed at the condo with my daughter. It was a good size for two people. The layout of the condo is very well thought out. They have done really well with a small amount of space. It is completely remodeled recently and very tastefully decorated. Kitchen is well stocked with good cooking equipment. If you are skiing, it is approximately a 5-minute walk to the Cornice chair. I had one question for the property owner and they texted me back very quickly. I will definitely return for another stay.

Due to an honest mix up, the property was not cleaned on check in. It was not possible to reach the listed host as the contact phone number in the check in instructions belonged to someone who no longer oversees this property. However, after leaving a voicemail we did get a call back from that person who helped us get in touch with the cleaner who did come the next day. Both people I spoke with were very helpful and cordial, especially since it was nearly 11PM. We had to strip and make the bed ourselves and make do with the remaining clean towel, so no relaxing shower for me that evening. After driving six hours to Kirkwood after a full work day and having to clean up after the last (disgusting) guests, we were having a very poor start to our ski vacation. We didn’t get to enjoy the fireplace or unwind that evening as we were too exhausted by then. The following day the unit was turned over and it was quite nice. It truly is a nice place to stay! Most of the poor rating I am leaving is because we were never able to get in touch with the host about the original issue, our message via VRBO went unanswered, and we didn’t get a reply or resolution for a partial refund for the trouble and poor experience. That said, the condo itself is a very good recent reno, especially when compared to the rest of the aging property. The finishings are very nice. The listing does not accurately reflect the property in the winter time as there is no view from the unit or deck with mountain views with even the moderate amount of snowfall at the time (early February, no recent storms). The garage door is broken and stuck open, so beware. If we didn’t have arrival problems we really wouldn’t have known better and this might have been a 4–5 star rating! I would still stay here again for a visit to Kirkwood with tempered expectations if I knew the property will be cleaned and managed well. The proximity to the resort is very convenient and the unit is very cute and cozy.

Clean, comfortable, great location

Very comfortable place, newly renovated as described, a nice quiet refuge after a long day skiing. Small studio but has everything we needed. Main bed is excellent, pull out couch works fine for a kid. Kitchen is well organized and equipped. Shower in bathroom has good pressure and hot water. Location is OK as Kirkwood condos go, not the closest to the lifts, but readily walkable or shuttle-able.

Enjoyed stay, no smoke from close fire, comfortable, loved stove, really nice decor, pictures don’t do it justice. Minor problem with tv remote, contacted owner. Able to adjust using tv buttons.
