We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! My daughters loved the window seats for reading and the porch was an excellent place to relax and watch the ocean. The claw foot tub was a luxury! We’d definitely stay here again!

Carefully appointed garden and house. Steep entrance through the garden. Nice to throw the windows open, relax and listen to the ocean. Nicely appointed kitchen had everything we needed.

This is a beautiful property. My only criticism is some cleaning issues in the kitchen. Someone had previously left something in the garbage area (in an enclosed little closet) that had a super bad odor. The cleaning crew did not take care of that issue. Other minor cleaning issues in the kitchen, but overall everything else was clean. The climb to the property is a challenge for us older, out of shape (lol)renters. The grounds are beautiful. The house is one of the best we’ve rented in the Sea Ranch/Gualala area. We & my parents have rented many over the last 25+ years of family gatherings. Highly recommend for comfort & price.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home with a great view of the ocean. It seems they have put a lot of work into the walkway recently leading up to the house making it easy to get in/out. The only thing we wished were different were the beds. They were extremely soft. For people with back problems it is not ideal. But, we know a ton of people love super soft mattresses so it wouldn’t be a problem for most. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family loved our stay here, the beds were very comfy, the shower was always warm, and the kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils but definitely bring your own essentials like sugar, oil and the like, there is salt and some spices and other stuff I assume previous visitors have left behind. as mentioned in another review the way up to the house is quite the uphill walk but doable if you don't have any mobility impediment. The beach view is very close but it is not a walkable distance to the beach, only to the view of the beach, to get to the actual beach you have to go into Gualala a few minutes away via car and park and then take the trail to the beach. Be aware everything closes 8-9pm including the grocery stores. we did not know and we made it just in time to get some provisions before closing time. The restaurants do not deliver so you must either eat there or do takeout. We liked the hosts binder with suggestions of places and restaurants. We did have a small cleaning issue, which Vacasa promptly responded to.

The home is obviously loved by the owners who have a great tastes. If you want to watch tv, it is not located in the best place, but we never watched it as the view was great. The walkway to the house is very bumpy and a bit of a slope.

Very clean and nicely decorated home. All hardwood floors, well equipped with lots of attention to detail. Loved the window seats and ocean views!

This house was a perfect getaway to recharge our family's batteries. Fast wireless internet (2 kids doing Zoom school classes was no problem) and the views of the ocean from the deck and master bedroom are amazing. Only a 10 minute walk to Cook's Beach. The neighborhood is very dark and quiet so the stargazing at night was really something special.
