Was a very nice clean peppery
Beds were very comfy and clean

Only thing for us is my parents are seniors and it was a big hill to go up and down to get to ocean

Great location, the place had an awful smell
The place smelt like rotting food, we had to keep the door open the entire time. Evenings with the door closed was gross. We had to go in the bedroom with the window open to avoid being in the main part of the unit. I would not recommend.

Very nice vacation property for my family which includes two small children under five. Bottom unit walked out to a nice greenspace for the children to play and was only a moment to walk to the beach. The only issue we had was that the promised barbeque was there but it didn't work.

We have stayed at many vacation rentals, and this has been our first extremely frustrating experience and negative review. The lock and key code did not work so we were not able to enter the unit. Only after repeated calls to the emergency line (kept going to VM) was I reluctantly given the lock box code from someone back east. Maintenance only came the day before we were scheduled to leave without any notice from the management company. Thankfully we kept the master key for the duration of our stay as the lock still did not work.
Maintenance also informed us that the clearers had previously told him the dryer didn’t work. Thankfully we had not yet done any laundry considering the cold weather. We were not informed by the management company that the dryer was not working.
Furthermore, the management company basically said this was a rare event even though residents in the complex told us that many guests staying in this unit have issues with the lock.
The unit itself was clean but I cannot recommend staying here due to the poor management and customer support from the company responsible for the unit.

This property met all of our expectations and more! The beds were very supportive and comfortable for us which was great since we both have back issues. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to work in. The setting was very peaceful and relaxing. The only recommendation I would have is for a less sinky couch but that is only because we prefer something firmer but for anyone else the couch would be fine :) We can’t wait to come back!

This property met all of our expectations and more! The beds were very supportive and comfortable for us which was great since we both have back issues. Lovely tranquil ocean view condo near the beach
Very comfortable well appointed my only suggestion would be lamps and end tables in the living room as well as taller reading lamps in the bedrooms

Great location and condo
This was a perfect base for our family during our time in Parksville. The condo was immaculate and had everything we needed. Location was terrific - 1 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to mini golf and ice cream!

Relaxing
Tanglewood never disappoints. The condo is well appointed and has everything one needs for a fun and relaxing vacation. Great location, we will be back next year.

Beautiful space, everything was very clean and the keypad entry was super convenient. Great ensuite with a huge soaker tub! Only a minute walk down to the beach, and a beautiful view of the ocean from the living room.

Everything we needed in a holiday 👍
From the clamming, oysters and crabbing for the first time was great. The scenery, sunsets from the beach or the boat were always spectacular. People and food places were great . Our favourites were TheShady Rest and Brazen Poppy. Home baking we bought from Just Like Mums 😀

a wonderful little get away
We had a wonderful stay over the Christmas holidays. The place was clean with all the amenities . Nice beds , pillows , blankets etc. Location was amazing! Service was amazing..
Would love to come back in the summer time.

The perfect location! Beach & Forest 2 minute walk away!
We absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Tanglewood 22. Our family of 4 stayed for 2 months and we could not have chosen a better location. This place has everything you need for an extended stay. The kitchen has a lovely gas stove and is more than fully stocked. We were able to have a lovely Thanksgiving Dinner and bake all the things we love. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a cozy queen sized bed. The onsuite master bathroom is really nice with a huge soaker tub. The neighbourhood is a forest and the beach adventures are endless! Thank you so much for opening up your home to us.
