We had a great time. House was wonderful and had a lot of great features. Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone especially parents with young children.

We had family renting another house in Keepers Landing so wanted to be nearby. This was perfect! The house works so well for its size - only two bedrooms in the main house (third in the crofter), but the living space both inside and outside was spacious and welcoming. It's a corner lot, which gives a ton of privacy and really is the best deal on this side of Keepers Landing. We spent hours on the screened porch with its very comfy couch, and had dinners at the outdoor table. We didn't use the grill but would next time. In cooler weather, we'd have also used the pretty outdoor patio. The kitchen was well stocked with oils and spices and the large fridge and washer/dryer were appreciated! Only down side was one golf cart instead of two, so we rented a second one which can be a little pricey. Still, would absolutely stay here again! Owner was very responsive, too!

What a GEM!
This was our fifth trip in 5 years to BHI and have rented houses all across the board. For our family solo trip, this place could not be beat.
It's nestled into the corner of a large cul-de-sac so the privacy is super peaceful. House is in fantastic shape, very clean and most importantly.....super comfy beds!
Chris and Tonya are amazing. This is the first time that we have had such great communication with the home owner and they really care about 1.) the comfort of your stay and 2.) the condition of their property.

The Bowsteads’ house was perfect for our family beach week! It’s beautiful and comfortable and had everything we could possibly want or need. The fully equipped kitchen was especially nice. Chris was very responsive to all our questions, and so accommodating. Highly recommend!

My family and friends had the absolute best time at BHI this past week. We adored the house and it was perfect for 3 adults, 1 teen and 2 kids. We found that it had everything we needed for the week, very well appointed. Keepers Landing provides a nice breeze and shade after a long day on the beach and lots of nature. My kids loved fishing off the private dock. Took us about 5 to get to either East or South Beach. Close to the market as well. We will for sure be back!

This property was absolutely radiant. The property is even better then it looks in the pictures. The house set up was perfect for our 10-year wedding anniversary/family vacation. The screened in porch and large deck area allowed our toddlers to run around and play. The house was well stocked with all needed amenities and the suite over the garage was amazing for sleepovers with grandma!! I highly recommend this property. We will definitely be back to visit again! My only regret is that we had to return to reality after only one week! Best vacation rental I’ve stayed in. Thank you for opening your home to us!

It was amazing. The house was so clean and well decorated. The appliances were high end, everything felt new. They had everything you need for a great vacation. Board games, bikes, body boards, sunshade at the beach, just anything we could think of was there. The owners were extremely kind and helpful as well! Highly recommend!

My wife, my 2yo, and I were visiting the island for the Badwater Ultramarathon. We arrived a few days early to acclimate and found this property extremely comfortable and welcoming. It was the perfect size for the three of us. The house was well-stocked with everything needed for the week other than groceries, of course.
The kitchen has plenty of cookware and staples for cooking meals. Internet and TV worked great for hanging out and entertaining a 2yo. We’d never been to the island before but the golf cart provided made it easy to get around.
Overall, it was a great place to stay and felt like a home away from home! If we return for next year’s race, we will definitely try to get this property again!

My wife and I have been to BHI numerous times and have owned property on the island throughout the years. I can honestly say this is the cleanest house we have ever stayed in! The house was well equipped and decorated perfectly. We loved the location as it was very peaceful and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked and we wanted for nothing. Plenty of beach chairs and toys for those with children and the separate crofter cottage is perfect for privacy.
Chris was very attentive to our needs and easy to work with. No issues with the check in and check out procedures.
We enjoyed sitting on the deck and felt like we had a lot of privacy. Enjoyed grilling out and relaxing.
My wife and I will definitely considering staying here again in the future. Great value for the money!

Chris the homeowner went above and beyond to accommodate us. Unfortunately, a situation arose that was outside of our control however he facilitated a smooth transition and salvaged our vacation. The house was adorable and would definitely stay there again.

Relaxation vacation
Had an absolute blast at Dreamstead for two weeks. The house was very clean and well taken care of. Chris and his wife had everything available to make the vacation extremely enjoyable. Also, we were very appreciative with his correspondence and availability to help out with the golf cart. We will absolutely be coming back. Thanks again gang.

Clean and comfortable
We had a good stay. We come to bald head every year, once a year but we were able to squeeze two trips in, so this was pretty spontaneous for a short visit. The home is very comfortable, very clean and beautifully decorated. CHRIS is amazing, communication with him was great. He is the nicest guy.

Family Beach Vacation
We had a great time on Bald Head Island. It was our first visit. We really enjoyed driving the golf cart all over the island. The beaches were fantastic. We spent our time at the Cape Fear area (Beach Access 39). The grocery store was well stocked and the restaurants were good.
The house had all of the conveniences of home. The size of the home was perfect for our family of home. We didn't even use the bedroom above the detached garage ...it would have been perfect for a mother-in-law, friend or older child. We liked that the house was located in an area with lots of big trees, as it kept the temperatures more comfortable. Chris was very responsive to our questions. We highly recommend this home for your Bald Head visit.

Empty Nest Getaway
This was an unbelievable vacation!! The house is perfect. Beautiful and clean. The description doesn’t do it justice. Everything from the beautiful bedrooms, to the perfect screened in deck, the great space in the back of the house, and the amazing kitchen. I would like to thank Chris for being a great host! He was immediate with his response and truly cared about our needs and wants!! A must stay!!!

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was beautiful, clean and super comfortable. Chris and Tanya were wonderful to work with and very responsive and helpful with tips for the island. We loved the adorable and perfectly located in the Keeper's Landing neighborhood.
