Salty Air Retreat is the best vacation rental in PCB! My family takes a trip to PCB every year and this is by far the best house we have rented. We are already looking at dates for next year. This year was the first year we took all 6 kids (under the age of 3) and this house was perfect. The walk to the beach is very short and it’s a private (ish) road so it was totally safe for little ones. The area of the beach was not crowded at all. The house is exactly as pictured. Very well kept house and very clean. The owners have provided everything you need. Kristi was great every time I reached out with a question. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough!

The property was very clean and is by far the most well-stocked vacation home we’ve ever stayed in! We like to prepare home-cooked meals and we typically have to buy additional kitchen things to make it work, but not at the Salty Air Retreat! The beach is right around the corner from the house…my 80-yr-old parents had no problem walking there. Plus there’s enough beach towels for everyone and a wagon to lug all the stuff. The beach chair and umbrella setup everyday was much appreciated…our own little oasis! The sand and water of the Emerald Coast is absolutely stunning! Finally there’s the backyard with a refreshing pool and plenty of space to enjoy family time. We took advantage of the grill for lunch and dinner and had more than one cornhole challenge. Lots of fun and laughter from all 3 generations! *Places to eat: Longboards for lunch and dinner, Finn’s for breakfast (great smoothies and bowls) *Places to shop: Winn-Dixie on the east end, Mobey Dick’s (everything 9.99), and the Salty Dog surf shop

The house was perfect and had everything we needed. Kristy was a great host and responded quickly to all of our questions. We hope to visit again next year.

We had two separate family with kids and two older teenagers. Space worked great for our group with ample parking. We heated the pool as part of our week was cold so kids swam a lot. Had a couple issues where owners responded and fixed quickly. Loved that the rental included beach towels so less to pack. Also, included beach wagons and toys/chairs so was a huge plus! Definitely would recommend!

This was the second time we have stayed at salty air retreat and it’s always sad when it’s check out day!!This gem here comes fully equipped.The house is newer and very well kept and clean.It has a heating pool that just keeps everyone swimming.it’s also walking distance to the beach …you can never miss with this spot.we intend to keep it as our vacation home in Panama.Thanks so much Kristy…couldn’t ask for a better host!PS..you can extend check out at a small fee!

This house was so cozy! Everything we needed at our fingertips. It’s central location to a lot of places to eat and shop was great! No one wanted to leave!

This is a wonderful property. It was exactly as described. The owners have thought of everything you may need while on vacation -- beach towels, beach chairs, charging plugs, kitchen items. The beach service that was offered was very responsive and had our chairs set up each day early. The property was very well maintained and CLEAN! The pool was wonderful. The tanning shelf was a plus with two small kids. The covered back porch was a nice place to hang out to get out of the sun. Beach access was close and super easy to get too. The two carts provided made it easy to get all our stuff to the beach. I would book this property again and recommend it to anyone thinking about it. The owners were easy to contact and quick to respond. Our only question while there was if we could extend our stay by a day, but alas it was already booked which honestly was not surprising!

This property is amazing! Beautifully decorated, comfy beds, everything you need in the kitchen plus laundry. Pool area has plenty of seating and an area to eat and relax and play after the short walk to the beach. The owners are amazing and available for anything you need. House is also close to great food live music and ice cream! We will stay here again!!!

The location of this house was fabulous. Very short walk to the beach access, and because it had a pool the kids could keep swimming even after the adults were tired from putting tents up on the beach. The supplied beach towels were a blessing, as was the wagon. Nice little spice cabinet and huge fridge/table/counter space for our family to eat all together. The house was spotless and smelled of cleaning products when we arrived - always a good sign! Beds are comfy, even the bunk beds - which is not always the case at other places. And very easy checkout process which is much appreciated. Would 100% stay again and recommend to a friend.

The place was immaculate. It was beautifully decorated and clean from top to bottom. Plenty of space, board games, and supplies for cooking. The property manager was very responsive and we got the pool heated within the hour of our request. We also enjoyed several days at the beach as it was merely steps from the house just as advertised. Overall, our stay was 10/10! 5 stars! Would highly recommend!

The place was very clean and spacious! Pool area is a great place to relax. The kitchen is equipped with just about everything you’ll need to cook full course meals. Bring extra toilet paper and paper towels….2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom wasn’t nearly enough with 8 adults. Overall nice experience.

This property was better than described. It was super clean, smelled really fresh, and decorated super cute. Also the kitchen was so well appointed! We brought a lot of things we didn’t need. The backyard was nice with a pretty pool. Beach is super close. Thank you! The hosts were very responsive.

The home was a very well built beach home with everything you need to give you that at home feeling, every room in the home was set up perfect, for relaxing, it was a short walk to the beach for every day beach fun, and also the home was close to all the fine dining and clubs. In summary I would highly recommend this property, it made the last day very hard to leave, we will definitely return. Kristy and Jason made sure you had everything you need and more thanks for an amazing stay!

Communication with the owners was flawless. Everything was as listed! I absolutely loved how well stocked the kitchen was 😊. It truly felt like home away from home. We look forward to going back next summer.

Everything from communication to cleanliness to location was TOP NOTCH!!! We are so glad we picked this place to stay. Will definitely be a place we stay again.

Though we had to wait past our check in time for the cleaner to leave and had dirty feet from walking barefoot in the house briefly, we found everything else to be clean and just as expected. The house is roomy, beautiful and close to most of the restaurants we frequent. It’s crazy close to the beach public access but we missed being able to see the ocean this trip. The kitchen is well stocked and the fridge was plenty big for a week for 7 adults. The houses are super close to each other and other complexes but it was amazing that when you closed the door waking in from the pool you couldn’t hear things going on outside. Pretty amazing since they all are right on top of each other. We LOVED the mattresses and no one had complaints of back pain (something typical of a rental for vacay). We love them so much we wanted to know what mattress was in the upstairs master to have for ourselves at home. Some things to consider that did not break our stay but could help others in the future: The stairs are VERY loud no matter how light you try to step. The master upstairs does not have a door to the bathroom. There’s also a large window over the shower plus the 3 door size windows in the room that let in a ton of light VERY early. Would be great to have a door to the bathroom for privacy and option of shades in the bedrooms. There were NO spare linens available. The blanket provided on the bed was VERY thin and much like sleeping with only a sheet on top. While the couch and big chair are very soft, they are nearly on the floor and you sink way down in them which makes them uncomfortable for prolonged sitting and hard to stand up out of. There was only seating in the direct living area for 5, so 2 people always had to take a bar stool or the kitchen chair/bench. And last, the two rooms upstairs toward the back of the house stayed pretty hot no matter how low the air unit was dropped and how many fans were running. We loved this home and would consider it for our next vacation! Thank you for opening your rental to us!

This beautiful property was everything we needed and more! Perfect setup for my husband and myself with 8 teens and twenty year olds. Very short walk to the beach, perfect sized pool, very well stocked even down to a basket of beach towels which was SO convenient for us! Only improvement I could even think of would be to have tv’s in the other bedrooms upstairs so we weren’t fighting over the master bedroom one, but it worked out fine! We definitely enjoyed our trip and were very comfortable. Thank you!

The home was spacious and right next to the beach access bridge which was perfect for our family. Owners were quick to respond. All amenities we needed were provided (plenty of beach towels). Would highly recommend.
