We had a wonderful time at Albert's place on Manasota Key. The beach is a short walk from the house, through a grove of trees. Less than 3 minutes from door to sand.
The house has two units, A and B. Were were in A, which faces the road, but we found little road noise that could be heard.
It was well appointed with kitchen supplies and linens. There are some great restaurants not far down the ebach and my wife kayaked in the bay with dolphins along side her. Overall, very happy with the stay!

Had a wonderful week on the island. Property is very close to the beach and very nice. Owner was very good with communication and present if needed.

The Property is nice. The main bed is bad glad we where there just a week. The cooking utensils are junk. The owner is a jerk, we were going to bring our dog but decided to leave him with a sitter, i messaged Albert a few weeks before our stay told him we would not be bringing the dog and if possible can we get a refund for the pet fee. He said he didn't get his money till we checked in and he would get with me that week. He came by going to the back unit and i ask about the refund and babbled he didn't remember and had to talk to his wife and would get back. Never heard back! The $100.00 bucks was no big deal its the point he lied about it.

Beach is behind you just a very short walk to a private beach. Loved the accommodations and the house is so cute. Very peaceful and relaxing area.

This was an amazing little weekend getaway for the family. The location was perfect and only a 2 minute walk to the beach. The unit was a little dated but still in good condition and very clean. I loved that there was a lot of beach equipment available to use, including the kayaks! Overall an amazing stay that went by too fast! Would definitely book again.

Beach was beautiful and very close to house. The ac had some issues and it often was hot. Was charged an extra 160 for "blue stains" on a chair that were not there when we left the property.

This property provided everything we needed and then some for our week in paradise. One of the best homes we've stayed at in Florida. Albert was always a quick call away for any questions or hiccups we had. We weren't aware that the house is divided into two units until the latest review, so we worried about this since we have a noisy, rambunctious 4 year old. The couple sharing the home with us was very friendly and didn't seem to have any issues with noise. The house is nicely divided for privacy- everything is separated so it's still like having the entire home to yourselves. Thank you for sharing your home with us and all of the thoughtful details. We will be back.

We were really steps to the beach, and that made this place exactly what we had hoped for in location and access to the gorgeous Manasota Key beach. The place was well equipped - we had everything we needed except a salad spinner and a good paring knife. We did not realize that the house was actually divided into 2 units, which worried us initially because of the possibility of unwanted noise, but the couple we shared the property with were friendly and quiet, and there were enough bikes and beach chairs for us all. We would definitely go back.

We loved the house and the location. This is the first time we stayed on that side of the island and we loved it. The house had everything we needed from towels to kitchen needs and a shed full of beach necessities. Our favorite was the walk thru at the end of the street to the beach, which we called the Portal to Paradise. We rode the bikes to dinner every night and explored the beautiful parks. The week was a perfect get away!

This is just as described, about 60 seconds walk and you are on the Beach on Manasota Key. Manasota Key SP is 6 miles North on a pretty road, Blind Pass SP 2 miles North, Englewood 1 mile South and Stump Pass 1.5 miles South, but you can walk out for more private seclusion with beautiful sunsets. The house and equipment shed has most of the stuff you will want for relaxation or shark tooth hunting.

Wr have been renting the month of March in Florida for 5 years. This home was by far the best! Location is amazing! Approximately 100 steps to the beach. Albert is wonderful to work with. Communication with him is prompt and no problems. We just wish this house were open for the whole month next year, but we will take three weeks.

My family and I were down visiting family in the area. We decided to stay at the beach. This property was great. Beach is just a few steps away, there was plenty of stuff in the shed to keep you busy and it was easy location to all the restaurants. We were very pleased with the experience.

Perfect for our family. We especially enjoyed the bikes. Lots of fishing equipment. We don't fish, but the owners have thought of everything. I thought it was the cutest house in the area. The sunroom was especially nice for morning coffee and evening conversation in the warm breeze. A great break from Kentucky cold!

The place was great and we enjoyed having access to all the beach items. Our only critique is that it wasn’t as clean as expected—we found an old wrapper, medical tape, and papers in one of the kids’ beds, and an empty water bottle and other items under furniture.

This property was well kept, clean, and only steps away from the beach! We went to the beach daily, searched for shark teeth, and took a bike ride down to the state park. Quiet location with plenty of great places to eat on and around the area. We are looking forward to our next visit already!

The Quintessential Beach House
Clean, relaxing and convenient. We really enjoyed our stay. The location of the house was perfect, it was well stocked with all the pots and pans, cups and everything else you need. Lots of towels! If I had anything negative to say, it would be the construction of the house next door was loud in the morning, but it was not bad at all, and no fault of the owner.
The owner was quick to respond to my question, and we had no issues with them or anything. Very smooth experience, and a very nice vacation spot.
The beach is very close, and even has shade! We even got to see some baby turtle footprints one morning.
The shed has 3 bicycles, a ton of fishing gear and kayaks, plus lots more! We never really had enough time to enjoy it, but it was there if we did.
We would definitely go back!

This place rules! So a nice place so close to the beach! We had an amazing week. We saw a double rainbow and dolphins every night! I did not want to leave and hope to be back very soon!

We had a great time. The house was just as advertised- very clean, comfortable and had absolutely everything you could possibly need. You just walk down a path and find yourself on a lovely beach. An absolute Gem
What a beauty place clean, beachy atmosphere, and comfortable. Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed this property it was the best value of any place we stayed and we had a blast. The owner has a shed that is filled with everything you could dream of, bikes beach chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, fishing rods, shelling tools, everything!!! Wish we spent more time here. If you looking for a friendly place and a relaxing atmosphere steps to the beach this is your place!!! We will be back.

We had a wonderful time . It was exactly as listed. Loved the closeness to the beach and the path lined with mangroves. House was supplied with everything we needed. Enjoyed the bikes and extra beach equipment. We would certainly stay here again.
