This is by far the best house we have stayed, and so far!! There was plenty of room for our family to not be on top of each other throughout the trip!
There were 9 adults and 3 kids 4-10. The home owner was more than attentive making sure our stay was incredible! I will be using this listing again!!!

Each year we visit the Lake of the Ozarks locating in a different rental home. We have done this since our kids, whom are now adults, were young and now we include the grandkids. The home was very spacious and had a great huge family entertainment room. The home was filled with wonderful amenities, none like we have ever stayed in before. The cove was a wonderful area for us all to hang out in the water for hours. The dock was great to simply sit and visit and the little ones enjoyed fishing right off it. Melanie and Cory were the Best of the Best Hosts.
We are so happy that we were able to meet and visit with them during our stay. All of our kids and we too agree, that this was the most enjoyable vacation home we have ever stayed. No doubt - 5 stars!!! Thank you:) M & R from Iowa

We had a great time at Emerald Retreat. The house was fully stocked and clean. It had everything we needed and more! We really enjoyed the lake during the day and the game room every evening. Melody and Cory were amazing hosts! We had a group of 12 and had plenty of room. Definitely would recommend this property and hope to stay again!

Our children and their own families traveled to the Lake of the Ozarks for a family vacation! Our girls picked the place out and did they pick a good one! We had everything and then some of what we needed at this rental-plenty of rooms, gathering places inside and outside (tv room, game room, dock space, 2 patio areas, even garage space if we had needed it for a rainy day). The lake area was quiet and inviting! Thank you, Melody and hubby, for all you did and allowing us to make some special memories with our kids and grandkids!

2 families of 4 comfortably fit. The game room was a great hangout place, as well as the dock. The home is in a quiet cove with minimal wake and we were able to keep 2 boats in the slips. Great house!

We spent 4 days there. The whole house was amazing. The game room upstairs was an excellent place to hang out when it got dark and a bit chilly. The owner stopped by and was extremely friendly. There were plenty of floats and water equipment to float in the lake. Overall, a perfect weekend away.

We loved this property. Melody and Cory were great! We had 11 people and this house fit us all. This house is fully stocked and was clean! It had everything you would need in the kitchen. All three floors were spacious and the game room is wonderful...we spent a lot of time there in the evenings. The dock is big and had plenty of room for everyone. Definitely would recommend this property!

Melody and Corey were amazing hosts. The dock area was in great condition and very private. It is the perfect place to gather and float with almost zero boat traffic. We recommend staying here and plan to return.

Melody and Cory, were great, ready to support if needed. Neighbors were friendly. Getting to the house was easy and unloading into a nice big two stall garage was awesome. We had ten people all adults and there was plenty of rooms for all. Game room was as expected, super cool, although the dock had my attention all week!!! There are three floors ALL had great AC. Third floors can be a problem I've read, not here. Great access to the dock, easy walk, very few steps. The pictures were accurate. We loved it, we'll be back if they will have us. Hope so!!!!

The house and the host were perfect. We had a large group of 12 adults and we were about to comfortably hang out in the huge game room, the main level, the dock and float work no issues anywhere. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We have been staying at Emerald Retreat the last 4 years and it is by far the best property we have stayed at. It has 5 bedrooms, a very nice patio overlooking the lake, a large garage, AND a great game room with a pool table. Melody does a great job of coordinating the visit and makes the house spotless for our arrival. We also do our cooking there on the grill (steaks) and in the oven (lasagna). Melody and her husband are great hosts and their neighbors are very laid back too. All 6 of us guys are in our 60s and we plan on coming to Emerald Retreat from now on for our lake weekend. Thanks Melody!

Even Better Than Advertised!

AMAZING STAY!!
The house felt some home-like. The dock was an amazing place to sit and relax with family. Great swimming, great fishing. The house had so much for everyone to do. I would highly recommend this house for families looking for a fun-filled house with SO much to do.

Lovely house, perfect for multiple families and small children! We loved the game area, private bedrooms on each level, and large kitchen. The dock was very nice, boat lift was easy to use, and lots of outdoor seating. Hosts were very friendly and helpful!

Fun for the whole family!
We can’t say enough about our stay. The house is great and so are the neighbors. Thankful for the great weather we had but if I the weather isn’t great there is more than enough amenities to keep adults and children occupied. We loved everything and can’t wait to come back!

My last flamingle
This property was amazing! We had a fabulous time in this wonderful home. Had plenty of room and beds for everyone. The game room offered almost an entire extra living room even though most of our time was spent swimming g off the docks! The outside space was by far the best and made perfect for entertaining!
The owners by far are what made out stay so enjoyable. Extremely easy to work with and very helpful with any of our needs. The neighbors also made for a great time! We enjoyed every minute!

Great property and family friendly!
We had a great stay at the property! We were greeted with a very nice welcome package of cookies and treats and the kids all loved that. Our group of 6 adults and 5 kids spent every day on the water. The quiet cove was perfect for swimming and the spacious dock allowed us to stay down there with plenty of room all day! I recommend this property for anyone that needs some space to spread out (3 floors!) and is looking for a great time!

We have stayed in several houses along the lake and this one topped them all. The hose is equipped for everything from an outstanding playroom to a beautiful dock and to the last kitchen supply. not cheap but with it. The owner was great, very responsive, and kind.

All 12 of us loved our stay at Emerald Retreat! We were greeted with friendly hosts that live nearby and were easily accessible and helpful when needed, but gave us space and privacy to enjoy our stay.
The teenagers in our party loved the game room and floating mats for the lake. The men in our party enjoyed the dock, fishing, grill and enough recliners for all. The women in our party loved the lounge chairs on the dock, the space for everyone to spread out, a well stocked kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms.
Property listing could use some updates but Melody (Host) was really helpful answering all of our questions before we arrived. The next door neighbor Bill and his wife are super friendly and willing to share story about the area, reccomendations for area attractions and a little dock side music.
The road leading to the property is a little rough, but it is well worth the bumps and sharp turns.

A great place to enjoy the lake
This was a wonderful house that was perfect for our group of 11 enjoying the lake. We enjoyed the fun game room, great space and numerous rooms throughout to hang out and relax. The boat dock was amazing with a table and chairs for 6, and numerous recliner chairs to relax on. We enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife - a deer, raccoon, ducks and geese. Our fishermen in the group had some luck as well. We would definitely come back to this home for future getaways!
