We had a great stay in Ocean City at this House. It was very clean and spacious! The air-conditioning was excellent and we had no issues with the stay.!! We have now stayed at 3 different properties from the same owner and they are all great I would recommend any of them!!

First of all, the house was excellent and the host did a great job of making us feel welcome. The added bonus of a game card to their arcade at the boardwalk (Jilly's) was a surprising and very much appreciated treat by all. The beach passes (though we didn't get to use them much due to the weather) was also appreciated and a nice perk. We used the grill, the kids loved running around with the open spaces...it was just a great trip. Thank you to Jody and the family for making us feel at home!

The property is amazing. The owner Jody is wonderful. We had the most relaxing week ever. We will go back again. The home is beautiful everything you could want.

The property was, as advertised, really nice. Check-in was rocky - the door for the code was behind a first unlabeled door that was marked "Beware of Dog" (there was no dog), and we didn't notice the "linens not provided" caveat below the "View More" portion of the listing (maybe this is a normal beach town thing?). But the host was very pleasant to deal with once we connected.

House is just as pictured, overall was clean, and comfortable. No problems with check-in. Downstairs digital keypad lock stopped working on day 2 & was not fixed during our stay. The house is close to a lot of things, in a bustling (read: not quiet) area of OC - 3 blocks from the boardwalk/beach/rides, 1 block from Asbury (local ice cream shop, restaurants, coffee, shopping etc) and 2 blocks from West (chain restaurants, DD, Acme etc). So park the car and get your steps in. We had perfect weather & spent most of our time on the beach. OC is very kid friendly. Our family had a great time.

We enjoyed our time at this property. It was just as advertised in the listing and was setup nicely. Very short walk to beach and boardwalk. Beach tags, kitchen appliances, etc. all as described. No surprises if you read the listing details and prepare/pack appropriately. There were some details that I wouldve liked to have. Like grill utensils (people had been using the plastic kitchen spatulas on the grill and they were all melted) and bath mats and trash can in the master bath. Small things but they can make a difference. Pay attention to the part about parking. With everything that you need to pack for a beach rental in addition to all the people, chances are you may have 2 vehicles. Our 2nd vehicle had to be parked on the street which was metered parking from 9am-6pm so we had to pay that every 2 hours during the stay- approx $2 every 2 hours I think. Luckily there is an app and you can just do it from your phone. This was an Ocean City thing obviously. There was a garage on the property but we didnt have access to it but wasnt expecting to as the listing only specified driveway for 1 vehicle. Luckily we got a spot right in front of the house and didnt move it the entire time. None of that should deter you from this property. You wont regret renting it. Just bring what you need and consider your parking plan if you have 2nd vehicle.

The location is great and close to stores, dining and beach/boardwalk. The outside of the property is clean and the covered porch was nice to sit and enjoy. Now the not so good. The downstairs door, never locked. The owner came over and changed the code, but it still didn't lock. The upstairs door wasn't working, so he came and changed the batteries, that fixed it! The rental was well worn, carpet & walls were dirty. There were only 2 lights working in the master bathroom. Only 4 beach tags for a 10 person rental & for whatever reason, the downstairs unit does not have access to one of the garages. This would have been extremely helpful. We had to park our car about 6 blocks away along the street in a free parking zone. The downstairs unit used the other garage. Listing stated, beach toys which did not exist. When we arrived the dishwasher had dirty dishes in it and there were very few utensils and kitchen supplies. The gift basket (sandbucket) w/ candy and gift cards were a nice gesture, however, we received it on the day we left. For the price we paid, we expected a little more. Make a few changes and this would be a great property.

Great location and property was clean when we checked in. Outside of the code not working for the front door check in was fine. Owner offered to come to the house but the second code he gave me worked. We were a little disappointed in that there were only one roll of t-paper in each bathroom and only one wine glass in the kitchen. Overall we had a great stay and love Ocean City!

We had arranged to check in early at noon, but owner forgot and by the time cleaners were done, it was 4:00. So we wasted four hours waiting. Also, we came the night before and paid for hotel anticipating early entry, thus was $290 at hotel needlessly spent. He was apologetic and promised to ‘make it up to us’, but nothing occurred. Another major issue was the lack of promised ‘seasonal’ beach tags. They were not in house and the first day i asked for them but never received them. After two more days, we had to pay $40 for them to get on beach. I texted again and asked about the promised ‘seasonal tags’ and he answered the next day he would have someone drop them off or reimburse us. I asked for them to be dropped off. Never received them and since our stay encompassed two different weeks, we had to pay $40 for another week also. We never heard from him again or got reimbursed the $80. As another reviewer mentioned, we did not get supplied with toilet paper or paper towels. I never told owner as he never delivered beach tags, why ask for these. And these we could not wait to receive these items. Ad says toaster, there was none. We asked about coffee pot ahead of time and he said it would take keurig cups, but it was a regular small hotel coffee pot, not keurig. Ad says tv in each room, one bedroom did not have one. Not a big deal, but again, ad was wrong. My stay may be an abnormality as other reviews were positive. But spending about another $400 due to his mistakes, made the stay negative. Will again say house is nice, great location and he was nice when i met him.

The host are very responsive. Stayed on top floor and it was nice apartment. Very close to the beach and downtown shopping.

So that was a nice gesture that the kids appreciated as we always go to their shops on our boardwalk trips. The bad. The owner was difficult to reach until the afternoon before check-in. However, once we got in touch, he was very nice. The house did not appear to have been cleaned prior to our arrival (crumbs on the floor and and sand on the couch) and the unit overall is well-worn, to say it nicely. Finally, the listing says paper towels and toilet paper will be provided but there were half rolls of each, with no back-ups.

I recently stayed at this property (the top floor unit) and it was perfect for a small group of people in the heart of OCNJ. It was spotless, had great decor, in a great location, and had access to the rooftop that had 4 chaise lounge chairs! We all loved this place and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The location of this place is really nice and easy especially when you have kiddos. Super easy to walk to the boardwalk, rides, and most importantly the beach. There was a little kids' play structure outside that the kids loved. The outdoor shower was good to have. The place itself seems to have good bones. However, I have to be honest everything felt tired. I know anyone who owns in this area doesn't have to try very hard to rent their places. But at this price point, I expect a little more attention to detail. My suggestion to the owners would be to stay a couple of nights and they would see areas that need attention that I am not covering in this review. The one area that I could not get over and has to be addressed is the no linens or pillows, which we were aware of when we rented the place. I thought I could let it go, but using the COVID excuse is wearing thin. There is no reason you can't provide well-washed linens and pillows. It's not just the extra price (around four hundred) that's annoying, but having to shlep them upstairs and put them on, etc. is not a great way to start a vacation. I'd rather be at the beach. It seems like price gouging. And it's frankly environmentally unfriendly and a waste to have to purchase pillows that will be thrown away at the end of the trip. Yes, you could bring everything, but it takes up a lot of space we didn't have in our cars and I am sure a lot of families fly in.

A few points to mention, There is no toaster and the coffee pot is rather small (4 cup hotel room size). I would definitely stay here again! We rented for a couple nights to start off the summer. Place was better than the pictures. Owner was super easy to work with and helpful. Great location. Comfortable place very clean. Porch deck was very nice to sit on in the morning with shade. Rooftop deck was a nice bonus. We were comfortable with seven people. Definitely recommended! You will be happy with this rental!
