Great weekend getaway. Would definitely visit again.

We had an outstanding time at the house. Everything was clean and well kept. The beach is within a short walking distance and was not overcrowded. Ken and Helen were quick to respond to any inquiries, and were extremely accommodating and helpful. We already can't wait to come back. Thank you!!!

Stayed here for the 2nd year in a row and had another wonderful stay. The location is very private and quiet. The beach is spacious and empty at this end of the island. The kids are already asking to return next year.

We’ve stayed at this property multiple times and it’s always amazing! Clean, plenty of space to spread out and amazing location for not just the beach but also easy access to all that Emerald Isle and Swansboro have to offer.

Property very clean and very well located to enjoy the spectacular southern point of Emerald Isle. great places to walk and to also enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. the house was perfect for my wife and my self to be able to relax and enjoy the beach. Also very close to convenient groceries etc. Great location and great place to stay. we hope to come back.

Our family had a wonderful time! The owners, Ken & Helen obviously take very good care of their VRBO home and their guest. The beach is somewhat of a hike but overall this is a wonderful beach home and great owners!

We had a great time. Great views from the bottom and top decks. Plenty of space for two families with kids. The beach was very quiet which was nice. I'd definitely recommend this property to anyone looking in the area.

Beautiful clean home . Beach was uncrowned and gorgeous . Host responded quickly and were very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and area activities. Would love to stay here again .

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful location. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and all that is needed to cook for a family of six. Overall the house is clean and updated. However, we did find a small red stain (blood?) on the bedspread in the queen-bed room. The furniture in the living room is stained and soiled in several places. The sliding-door glass in one of the upstairs bedrooms is badly cracked. And, we were visited by a cockroach who lived in the pantry area which was a bit unsettling. Finally, (although it does make it clear on the website that there are ice trays in the freezer), I believe for a house of this scale and price, the owner could invest in fixing the ice maker which is available in the freezer but apparently non functioning. None of these things would keep us from renting this house again should the occasion arise, but it did keep me from giving it the 5 star rating it could so easily reach with a few minor changes.

We have stayed at Sea Our Point 2 years in a row and for good reason: the location is unbeatable, the hosts are remarkable, and the time is priceless! We loved our stays. Ken and Helen are super responsive to any needs and very accommodating. We highly recommend staying here!!

The house was clean, comfortable and as advertised. It was stocked with everything needed for your stay. Ken was quick to answer any and all questions we had. The location could not be more perfect. We will be back!!

Our stay was great. The property was even better than expected. The house was immaculate and updated. The beach was huge with no crowds. Our kids had a great time on the dunes. No complaints. Would definitely book again.

Perfect for a family get away! The property is ideally located, close to shops but far enough away for peace and quiet. Loved it!

Our two families really enjoyed sharing this house for Thanksgiving week. The weather was a little cold for beach activities but the view from the decks and kitchen/living room were wonderful! We love The Point at Emerald Isle, and this was a great place to enjoy it. The cottage was clean, quaint and as it was described in the listing. The beach is much wider at the point of the island, but it is easily accessed from this location. We were pleased with every aspect and would defiantly stay here again.

We really enjoyed how peaceful of a stay we had. The house looked and felt brand new. Communication with the owner was wonderful. Overall we had an excellent vacation and hope to be back.

Well situated on the point. Fantastic beach. Kitchen has fabulous pots and pans, etc. Love the white chairs on the deck. We all found the lighting to be harsh in the main area with no way to make adjustments. Twin room only had one small blanket and no mirror; twin mattress pad too slippery. Lastly, the seating in the main room was awkward. We had to move chairs in to create closer social spacing. One more thing. Both doors had broken shades that came apart. Kind of annoying to put back together. So, I hope these observations are helpful. We had a terrific time!
