The house was basically perfect. Even a decent guitar on the wall to play. Being on the edge of Sunriver is awesome as well as the proximity to the Deschutes river trail on mountain bike. Lots of thoughtful appointments in the house.

I waited to write this review with hopes I could work this issue out personally with the owner, unfortunately nothing was worked out and there was no effort on the owners behalf. Writing a negative review sucks because not only am I taking a risk that it will get turned on me but I’m truly an individual who isn’t trying to ruin anyone’s lively hood. If the owner would have tried to make this right I wouldn’t be here sharing this review.
Many parts of this home need some cosmetic TLC, the kitchen appliances were on their absolute last leg, but in the scheme of things I could have lived with that. What got me was the HUGE, fresh blood stain that went from the top of the bed, through all the sheets and down to the mattress topper. I’m sure anyone would agree that this would make you question if anything was cleaned at all.
Unfortunately our stay wasn’t what we anticipated

One of the best houses in Sunriver! Great amenities and comfortable living. Our group of 6 spent a wonderful 7 nights and loved it. I have been coming to Sunriver for 30 years and this is a top property. We would love to stay here again.

Our family with three grown sons, a daughter in law and two toddler grandkids, ( 3 and 5 years old )had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful and comfortable home in Sunriver. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood and was well stocked with everything we needed for the five nights we were there. There was plenty of room for all of us without feeling the least bit crowded.
The location is absolutely perfect. We visited Smith Rock State Park, Benham Falls, Lava River Cave, a bike ride along the Deschutes river ( affordable bike rentals nearby) and downtown Bend. All are in close proximity to the home. We would definitely return and rent again!

The property backs up to the forest which was a big plus. Very peaceful. I really enjoyed the office in the downstairs bedroom with windows out to the view. Made working a much more pleasant experience.

We’ve been to Sunriver 7x since we started coming in 2019 and this was our favorite house and location so far. Loved being by the national forest in the quieter north end of Sunriver. The large deck was awesome. We fully took advantage of all the trails to walk, run and ride scooters. The house was well constructed and quiet inside. Loved all the natural light. The bed in the main room was very comfortable. The layout worked great for our family. The kitchen was overall well stocked. Loved doing 3 of the puzzles that were there. I think our only complaint was we had issues lighting the cooktop - only one burner consistently lit for us. After 4 nights, we weren’t ready to go back to Portland and would definitely come back again!!

We visited for the week of Christmas 2022 and couldn't have asked for a better home to stay in. It was clean and well-maintained and the home is unique and comfortable. Loved the wood and stone detailing. The owners were excellent in communication/answering questions prior to the stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Our group (4 adults, 5 kids 5 and under) had such a great experience in this house. House was very clean. We loved having the national forest out the back door, the kids went Sasquatch hunting in the snow during the day and spent hours looking out the big picture windows to see if they could spot him. The house had anything you’d expect a vacation rental to have, salt and pepper, enough paper towels (though the Kleenex all ran out very quickly and we couldn’t find extra), all the kitchen essentials and even some extras (like a waffle iron). We were bummed that the fireplaces were not usable, that was probably the biggest downside. Otherwise, a great place to stay, excellent value and location, even had a highchair for our one-year-old. Would definitely stay again, especially in summer when the trails behind the house are more accessible and a fireplace wouldn’t be desirable anyways.

Super location and beautiful home. We had 7 adults and two small kids. Sleeping was fine but wish we had one more full bath. 2 1/2 baths for four bedrooms is a little tight. Location made up for it!

Lovely property, great stay
The house was great, well stocked. Loved that it backed onto the forest - my kids had a great time tramping around while we supervised from the deck above. Lots of birds, and we saw a blue tailed skink and some deer. Bikes are funky but functional, the youth bikes are good for bigger kids, but if you have littles bring your own or rent in town. Great experience!

The place is beautiful we loved sitting on the deck and watching the wildlife. The place is very well stocked. We had lots of fun and would love to come back in the future. The only complaint we had was all the dog hair in the King size bed, but other than that we loved the place.

Wonderful stay! Beautiful home. Extremely comfortable and cozy. The home had everything we needed. Kitchen was completely stocked and perfect for cooking for a group. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Gorgeous and relaxing location.
